Piston

Electronic fluid regulator used to maintain the refrigerant level in a shell-and-tube evaporator (Fig. 1, a), evaporator air cooling(Fig. 1, b) or in an intermediate vessel of a two-stage refrigeration unit. The regulator has a float device (3), which is installed on the liquid bypass pipeline connected to the liquid separator (2) of the evaporator (1). When a solenoid valve is used as a pilot device (Fig. 3), it receives pulses from the refrigerated room thermostat or pressure switch. While the valve is inactive, the actuator remains closed, but when the solenoid is turned on, vapors from the evaporator will begin to pass through the filter (1) and channel (11) into the mechanism cylinder above the servo piston.   • method of connection to water supply. In the water supply systems of private houses and apartments, an RDV is installed with a threaded (coupling) connection method, which is optimal for pipes with a diameter of 1-2″. For larger diameters, gearboxes with a flange type connection are used;

The principle of operation of a water pressure reducer is similar to the operation of a valve tap: a piston with a rod in its seat creates a given clearance, thereby creating a liquid pressure of the required force. With a stationary piston at the outlet, the pressure changes in proportion to the flow force at the inlet, and in the RDV, the position of the valve depends on the ratio of the current pressure and the stiffness of the spring. The regulator is adjusted using a “pilot circuit”: when the pressure of the working medium increases, the water flow is redirected to the membrane, which lowers the rod with the piston, thereby reducing the flow area.
