Kemir fertilizers for hydroponics. Fertilizer Kemir - excellent efficiency and affordable prices. History of the brand - what to look for in stores

Organic farming is safer for humans, in addition, it does not deplete the soil, does not cause the accumulation of salts. But if we compare the nutritional composition of compost or manure, it turns out that there are a lot of some substances, for example nitrogen, and some, for example, phosphorus, very little.

The main trace element of fertility - potassium - is also insufficient. Question: why do we need organic matter if it does not meet the needs of vegetable crops? Organic matter is necessary for the soil to support the activity of microorganisms, earthworms and other living creatures in it, which improves the physical and chemical characteristics of the soil.

To feed plants, it is necessary to add mineral components to organic substances. This will allow you to get a good harvest every year. The fact is that minerals can accumulate in the fruit and cause poisoning when eaten, so it is important to choose a good brand.

One of the highest quality dressings that can be bought in stores today is Kemira Lux fertilizer, the composition and properties of which fully meet the needs of entire groups of plants.

History of the brand - what to look for in stores

Kemira is a nutritional granulated blend made in Finland. The history of the brand began at the end of the 90s of the last century. Now it is produced under license in Russia, but changed its name to Fertika.

Therefore, in stores you can find only a domestic product with the same properties, from the same raw materials, but at a lower price. Fans of the original Kemira need to order fertilizer through sites that are intermediaries between the producer and consumers.

Fertika's manufacturer declares that the products are no different from the original ones, because they are made from imported raw materials. If we compare the instructions for the use of Kemira Lux fertilizer, then its composition does not differ. It remains to check the reviews of buyers who prefer this brand.

How is the fertilization of Kemira (Fertika) made

Fertilizers are produced on new equipment that allows you to balance the amount of nutrients in each granule. This is achieved by the uniform distribution of trace elements due to the high-quality mixing of the components.

So that buyers do not confuse the types of chemical and chelated microelements. Kemira is a chemical fertilizer, but it is made from safe components that do not accumulate in fruits, do not have a negative effect on the human body.

If you add it to plant residues at the stage of compost maturation, soil microorganisms and earthworms will process all the components and they will turn into a chelated fertilizer. Most often, gardeners and indoor flower lovers use it in the form of granules or liquid mixtures.

Benefits of the mixture

The most important advantage of this brand is that manufacturers produce a large number of varieties of fertilizers. For example, green crops such as lawn grass, salads need more nitrogen. These crops do not flower or set fruit, so potassium does not play a special role.

For berry bushes, fruit trees, vegetables, potassium is the main nutrient from the flowering stage. It depends on potassium how abundant the flowering will be, how many ovaries will remain and turn into fruits, how many of them will ripen and how the products will be stored.

Separately, it should be said about the spring and autumn varieties of dressings. In the spring, when all plants grow green mass, a huge amount of nitrogen and phosphorus is consumed.

Video: Kemir fertilizer in a chelated form

Therefore, there are more nitrogen components in the spring fertilizers of Kemir. In the fall, to restore the balance of nutrients in the soil, it is necessary to add potassium and phosphorus. In this case, nitrogen is not needed, as it can provoke the growth of young shoots and swelling of the buds.

This will lead to freezing of the plant, infection with bacteria or fungi, and, therefore, to death. Fertilizer Kemira "Autumn" protects plants from active growth, making it possible to prepare for the dormant period.

Each culture has its own needs that set it apart from the rest. For example, potatoes and tomatoes need more nitrogen than onions and garlic. Potato Kemir contains it in the required amount, exactly as much as it will take to form the aboveground part.

Composition of granules and liquid fertilizers

Fertilizer Kemira Lux is available in liquid and granular form. The composition is the same, but liquid forms are more suitable for watering houseplants. Although, the granules dissolve well in water and it makes no difference which type to use. The only difference is the measuring cap, which can be used to more accurately measure the required amount.

Both liquid and dry mixtures protect plants from various diseases, accelerate the growth of vegetative mass.

Varieties in nutritional composition

At the moment, the manufacturer produces the following types of Kemir fertilizer:

  • Suite- it is applied in dry or dissolved form, begins to act immediately after embedding in the ground, is suitable for all flower and fruit and vegetable crops;
  • fertilizer Kemira Universal according to its composition, it is calculated for most types of garden plants, as well as conifers and berry bushes;
  • lawn mix promotes the growth of greenery throughout the entire vegetative period, cut grass is used for composting as a nitrogen component;
  • flower mix enhances the brightness of peduncles, promotes long-term flowering;
  • coniferous Kemira contains an optimal amount of nutrients for thuja, juniper and other plants for which excessive nitrogen is contraindicated;
  • fertilizer Kemir "Autumn" according to the instructions, it is used before the onset of cold weather to prepare the root system for active growth in spring, it contains phosphorus, potassium in sulfate form and trace elements, suitable for both trees, shrubs, berries, and domestic annual and perennial plants, as well as bulbous flowers;
  • potato Kemira contains an increased amount of nitrogen and potassium, which contributes to the accumulation of starch in the tubers, improves storage in winter, protects against diseases - primarily from phytophthora;

  • combined fertilizer Combi it is applied to all plants of open ground and greenhouse, does not contain carbonates, therefore it can be used on neutral and alkaline soils;
  • Hydro- the composition, intended for growing vegetables by the hydroponic method, does not contain calcium, it is well absorbed by plants in liquid form.

In addition to the varieties described above, there are dressings for certain types of vegetable crops - cucumbers, root crops, tomatoes. If the store does not find a suitable mixture, you can buy Kemira Universal fertilizer, which is suitable for all varieties of garden plants.

Instructions: dosages, method of administration, safety measures

The number of granules per square meter of the bed is described in detail in the instructions, so before you start watering, you need to read how to properly prepare the liquid for irrigation. To avoid contact with skin and eyes, wear protective gloves and goggles. Do not forget that this fertilizer has a chemical basis and burns are possible.

In hydroponics nutrient solution is an aqueous solution of substances that a plant needs for growth and life. When plants are in natural conditions, they get them directly from the soil using the root system. With a hydroponic growing method, you will prepare and apply the desired mineral salt mixture yourself.

Crafting recipe hydroponic solutions not difficult, no special skills and knowledge are required. Plants can be fed in two ways: either by preparing the nutrient mixture yourself - by finding suitable substances and mixing them in the right proportions, or - by buying ready-made fertilizers in special stores.

For the manufacture of hydroponic solution the water should be soft and clean, free of impurities.

The winter dormant period is characteristic of almost all plants, therefore, the solution must be consumed at half the concentration of the usual one. And also sometimes it is necessary to completely change the nutrient solution. It is not advisable to restore the loss of salts for amateur volumes: some material costs cannot be avoided, moreover, a loss of time. It is much cheaper and easier to replace the solution completely.

Transferring a plant to a hydroponic solution

If you decide to switch the plant to hydroponic cultivation, then the plant needs some time to get used to the solution. The concentration of the solution must be increased gradually. In the first three days after transplanting, the plant needs to be given a nutrient solution of 10% concentration, then 20-25%, and in the next three days 50%. From 7 to 12 days, but not earlier, after transplanting the plant, the nutrient solution may contain 100% concentration.

During the renewal of the solution, it is better to use lukewarm water so as not to harm the roots of the plant. This advice also applies to daily maintenance: you need to ensure that the solution is at least room temperature. Otherwise, it will immediately affect the pets in a sad way.

Fertilizers for hydroponics

Many have faced the problem when it is difficult to find special nutrient solutions... Kemira is a widespread fertilizer that can often be seen in household chemicals and flower shops. Therefore, it is quite common in home hydroponics. It is often used for cooking hydroponic solutions.
Now the market offers a fairly large selection of Kemir's solution: Kemira lawn, Kemira Lux, Kemira Super, and so on. As a rule, Kemira Lux is more common in stores, which is intended for seedlings and vegetables.

Composition of modern hydroponic solutions is designed so that the pH level is about 5.6 - this is optimal for many plants. The solution should not deviate too much from this value during use.

Fruiting and flowering plants are characterized by a high demand for phosphorus. In this case, it is better to use dilute phosphoric acid.

How to increase the acidity of a hydroponic solution

You can increase the acidity of solutions using:

  • sulfuric acid (automotive electrolyte) can be used at any stage of the plant, since it is very difficult to overdose with sulfur;
  • Phosphoric acid (you can buy a rust converter, but no additives) is used during flowering and fruit formation.

Apple cider vinegar, citric acid and other organics are harmful to the roots and can cause rotting.

Every summer resident tries to grow a good harvest. Of course, experienced gardeners know that without top dressing and proper care you cannot get either selected berries, or large potato tubers, or healthy fruits and vegetables.

Most when growing try to use organic matter: self-prepared compost fertilizer,. But for cultivation, mineral fertilizing is also necessary, especially since it is not possible to buy organic matter everywhere, and not all plantings like the use of, for example, fresh manure. Then proven mineral fertilizers are applied. One of them is Kemira.

Article outline

What is Kemir fertilizer and its composition

This mineral complex was developed in Finland. It began to be produced in the late nineties and early two thousandths, and has recently been licensed in Russia. For fans of the original product, there are orders via Internet shops with direct deliveries from Finland, but it should be noted that Russian-made fertilizers are no different.

The Kemir fertilizer contains all the substances necessary for plant growth, both macro- and micro-components.

Balanced selection of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. The composition contains the necessary trace elements, such as:

  • selenium,
  • magnesium,
  • manganese,
  • sulfur,
  • zinc,
  • molybdenum,
  • copper.

You should not be afraid of chlorine components that are not beneficial to plants, they simply are not there.

This "vitamin complex" for plants is produced in granular form in convenient packaging. Packaged in packages of appropriate weight. For example, for feeding indoor flowers, production has been established in small, convenient batches, 10-15-50 g each. For gardeners who grow potatoes on their 6-8 acres, you can purchase several packages of 2.5-5 kg. For farms - 40kg bulky bags.

There is a release of products in liquid form to be added to the water in the required amount. It should be noted that dry fertilizer granules dissolve in water without any problems.

Complex fertilization of Kemir is good because it can be used both as a solution and as a dry application, during digging of the soil or when feeding, followed by embedding into the soil. After watering, the fertilizer will gradually release the nutrients.

When purchasing fertilizer, you should pay attention to what type of plants Kemira is being bought for.

Several types of feeding are produced, the composition of which is specially designed for a particular plant.

Often, instead of the name Kemir, a substitute word for Fertik is used. This is the same fertilizer with the same properties and composition.

The line of Kemir Fertik includes specially developed formulations for various plants, ranging from potato dressings to fertilizers for lawns and flowers of a house lawn.

Kemira (Fertika) Flower- necessary for good growth of flowers: annuals and perennial plantings. It is used during the period of growing seedlings and after planting in a permanent place from spring to autumn. Increases the duration of flowering, saturates the flower stalks with bright colors.

Lawn fertilizer Kemir Spring-Summer gives good results throughout the season when feeding your lawn or lawn. The growth of the grass and its density are improved. It is used after mowing the grass, randomly, with a rake throughout the entire lawn area.

Kemira Universal- the necessary balanced complex for garden fruit-bearing trees and shrubs, various conifers, grown on the site. It is used for growing seedlings, almost all vegetables; when processing and feeding strawberry berry plantations of the suburban area.

Kemira Khvoinoe- a special complex designed for feeding, recently fashionable plantings, thuja, junipers, ornamental fir and pine trees.

Kemira Autumn it is used for the last seasonal plant feeding, for better preparation of the root system and the aboveground part for the cold season. Can be dosed under fruit trees and shrubs, and under perennial flowers, including bulbous.

Potato Kemira which contains more than 15% potassium, increases such an important indicator for potatoes as keeping quality. When applying fertilizer during planting, it is worth considering that granular Kemiru is easy to dose. Tubers treated with diluted fertilizer before planting sprout better and do not get sick. When harvesting, you can see that the amount of the crop increases by 40-50%.

Fertilizer Kemira Lux is available both in granular and in the form of a solution. Suitable for all vegetables, berries and fruits grown by summer residents. The composition includes all the useful elements necessary for normal growth. It can provide plants with micro and macro components for a longer period than other types of fertilizers. Suitable for growing seedlings and indoor flowers. Kemira Lux is a unique fast-acting fertilizer. All useful elements begin to act immediately after application to the soil, in dissolved or dry form.

Kemira Kombi it is produced mainly in the form of a pink powder that dissolves easily in water. All components of the fertilizer are easily absorbed by plants. It is used for feeding all types of horticultural and horticultural crops both in the open field and for greenhouse plants. Gives good results on alkaline soils, as it does not contain calcium.

Kemira Hydro- another type of fertilizer, all nutrients of which are easily absorbed by plants. It contains all useful substances, except for calcium. Primary use in hydroponics. Good results in open field and greenhouse applications.

When choosing a fertilizer, it is worth considering that recent developments have made it possible to produce certain species for certain crops. For example, you can buy a special composition for beets, tomatoes, cucumbers.

Many gardeners note that when using Kemira, the resistance of plants to many fungal and viral diseases improves, and the yield increases.

Vegetables and fruits grown with the use of fertilizer are environmentally friendly, since there are no components such as chlorine and heavy metals in the composition.

Thanks to the granular release, the fertilizer can be used for a long time; if stored correctly, it does not cake into lumps, does not deteriorate and does not become moldy.

  1. Top dressing of Kemir, due to its balanced composition, does not allow the soil to deplete, but promotes the reproduction of beneficial microorganisms.
  2. Use both for seedlings and indoor flowers, and for perennial plantings in the garden area adds another plus to this fertilizer.
  3. Some species (Kemira Universal) can be used for spring digging and soil preparation for planting seedlings in greenhouses and open ground.
  4. Kemira is able to provide a long flowering period for annuals and perennial flowers. Saturates buds with bright colors and prevents diseases.

Gives stability to plants during sudden temperature changes during unstable spring weather, when unexpected return frosts are still possible.

Prevents the accumulation of nitrates in fruits, and improves the keeping quality of the crop during long winter storage.

Kemira is a universal fertilizer. It can be applied both in granular dry form, by spreading before tillage, and in solution.

It is too wasteful to use the spreading method, so it is best to put it in the hole when planting seedlings in a permanent place or scatter it into the groove when sowing seeds.

It is best, after adding the granules, mix them with the nutritious earthy mixture prepared for planting and water.

With the seedling method, you should not allow contact between the fertilizer and the roots of the plant, since you can burn the roots, which still need to survive the stress of moving to a new place.

Each package of Kemir fertilizer has detailed instructions for use. It is necessary to adhere to the norms for the preparation of the solution if the gardener applies fertilizer in liquid form.

Potato fertilizer can be applied by sprinkling it into the hole during planting, at the rate of 15-20g in each hole. This is a little less than a teaspoon. Before putting the potato, it is necessary to sprinkle the granules with earth.

The second feeding is carried out during hilling, by scattering around each bush. The norm is a little more than when landing.

Drip irrigation is gaining popularity. It can be combined with top dressing by Kemira. For this, a nutrient solution is introduced into the system at the rate of 0.5 g per liter of water.

Basically, such feeding is carried out by Kemira Lux. Tomatoes and cucumbers, other vegetables grown in greenhouses react well to it. Re-irrigation with fertilizer is carried out after 7-10 days.

A universal type of fertilizer suitable for growing green: various types of salads, onions grown on feathers, dill with parsley and radishes. The minimum application rate is about 80g per square meter of the garden bed, but it is better to sprinkle it in the rows of plants, followed by embedding in the soil and watering.

For carrots, cucumbers, peppers, the rate increases to 100g per square meter, the best option for such feeding would be to combine it with watering.

First, the earth is slightly moistened with water, then it is watered with a fertilizer solution and again with clean water. So the plant will more easily endure the burn if the gardener did not quite correctly calculate the fertilization rate, and besides, the nutrients will quickly get to the roots.

How Kemir fertilizer is produced and used

Safety measures when using Kemira

Working with different types of Kemira should be carried out in a safe manner.

  1. A respirator must be worn before proceeding with the application of the solution or the spilling of fertilizer on the beds. To prepare the solution, you should use plastic dishes. Hands must be in gloves.
  2. The granules are diluted in water, according to the instructions, an overdose of fertilizer is not allowed, otherwise irreparable harm to the plants can be caused.
  3. The solution is prepared for one time of watering, it is not recommended to store it. The rates of application and dosage are indicated on the bag or bottle of fertilizer.
  4. Frequent use will not be beneficial. It is enough to process the planting once every 7-10 days.
  5. After feeding, rinse all containers with water, wash hands and face with soap and water, rinse your mouth.

The price of the purchased type of fertilizer may vary, depending on its composition. Since the packaging of Kemira is very diverse, ranging from a few grams to large bags, it is possible to calculate the required amount of fertilizers for the season.

It is worth considering that the correct use of Kemir (Fertik) fertilizer can significantly increase the yield, improve its quality and allow you to use your own grown fruits and harvesting before new shoots, and possibly before a new harvest.

For every real farmer, gardener and gardener, not only the cultivation process is important, but also the end result of their labors - a full-fledged harvest.

And even the most inexperienced summer resident understands how important it is for this to properly care for the plants, give the necessary fertilizing and apply full-fledged fertilizers, because any, the most fertile land is depleted over the years.

Most of my neighbors in the country use in practice not only organic fertilizers, but also mineral supplements. This balance helps to achieve the highest results: to grow selected berries, large and even potato tubers, tasty and juicy vegetables.

That is why, today we will talk about the popular mineral fertilizer, which has proven its effectiveness and has shown in practice all its best qualities. This is Kemira.

Kemiru is used by all my neighbors, especially those who grow vegetables and potatoes in large quantities. It appeared on the Russian market quite recently, at the end of the last century, and immediately found wide application in agriculture.

The developers of this mineral complex are Finnish scientists. In Russia, it is produced in fairly large quantities, so you can buy it in many horticultural centers and shops.

For those who do not trust domestic producers, there is an opportunity to order fertilizers via the Internet, but it should be said that there is no difference between the products.

The composition meets all possible requirements, it includes both macro and microelements necessary for active vegetation.

The complex has a very good balance, it contains in the correct proportions: phosphorus, nitrogen, potassium.

The most important elements for the life of plant crops: magnesium, selenium, copper, sulfur, boron, zinc, molybdenum and magnesium are presented to the maximum for the benefits of vegetables. There are no chlorine-containing components.

Powerful "vitamins" for enriching the structure of the earth and feeding various types of crops are produced in granules, packed in bags of various weights.

So, for example, for feeding home flowers there are very small dosages of 10, 15 and 50 g, and for huge plantations for potatoes you can buy packages of 2, 5 and 5 kg. The largest one corresponds to 40 kg - this helps to enrich the farmland.

The fertilizer is also offered in liquid form, it is very convenient for use, it is enough to add a certain amount to the water, and the working solution is ready for use.

Thus, Kemiru can be operated both in dissolved form and dry granules. The latter method is used when digging, the granules begin to dissolve under the influence of water entering the ground with rain or after watering.

It is worth paying attention to what kind of plants this complex was produced for, since there is also a gradation here. This is very convenient from the point of view of the application of top dressing, you just have to choose the desired type.

Types of Kemira

Sometimes the name of Kemir can be replaced by the name of Fertik, do not be afraid, they are one and the same. This line includes several types intended for lawn grass, vegetables, home flowers, potatoes, flower beds.

  • Kemira Tsvetochnaya - activates the growth of flowers of both annuals and perennials. After applying the fertilizer, the inflorescences become brighter, the flowering period is noticeably increased. Fertilizer is applied at various periods, for germination, after planting seedlings in open ground, during the growing season, right up to autumn.
  • Kemira for lawns - the grass cover becomes thicker, brighter, the structure of the lawn improves, and its silkiness increases. It is used many times: after every mowing throughout the summer.
  • Kemira Universal is a truly universal fertilizer that can be used to feed almost any crop growing on the site. It is suitable for fruit trees and shrubs, strawberries, many vegetables and strawberries. They are fertilized with seedlings at all growth periods, and the activity of the conifers is maintained.
  • Kemira Khvoinaya - it is intended for ornamental conifers, which have recently been extremely popular. These include various types of junipers, thujas, undersized pines and spruces.
  • Autumn Kemira was created to prepare for the winter season. Thanks to the action of the components, the roots and the ground part adapt better to cold weather, this kind of prevention allows bushes, trees and bulbous flowers to survive the winter more calmly.
  • Kemira for potatoes is an ideal means for obtaining a high yield. If, before planting, the tubers are treated with liquid fertilizer, then the seedlings will appear much faster, and the diseases will bypass the potato side. Kemira can also be introduced with granules for planting with embedding in the soil, while the yield increases, and the tubers are stored better.
  • Kemira Lux - this type of universal complex is produced with a solution and granules, and serves as a reliable assistant for any vegetables, berries and fruits. It contains fast-acting micro - and macro - components that increase the shelf life of fruits, allow plants to grow normally and resist a number of diseases. Regardless of the form, fertilizer in the ground immediately starts to work.
  • Kemira Kombi is a pinkish powder that instantly dissolves in water and is well absorbed by any garden crop.
  • Kemira Hydro is also an easily digestible nutritional supplement that is used in hydroponics. It is used both in open areas and in greenhouse conditions.

Among the latest developments there are also special types that are intended for any one type of vegetables, for example, for tomatoes, beets, strawberries or cucumbers. Therefore, when choosing, it should be borne in mind that specific compositions are presented in the fertilizer.

Diseases and viral diseases are not terrible for your plantings if they were promptly processed with this useful complex, which is considered safe and environmentally friendly.

Benefits of Kemira

  • After top dressing, the soil structures do not deplete for a long time, beneficial microorganisms multiply in them.
  • Serves as a good help for young stock and seedlings.
  • It is used outdoors and in greenhouses.
  • Supports perennial flowers by increasing flowering.
  • Raises plant immunity and helps to cope with sudden frosts and stress.
  • Does not allow nitrate substances and heavy metals to accumulate in fruits.
  • Extends storage time.

Application

Since Kemira is distinguished by its versatility, it can be used both in granules and in the form of a solution. The zealous gardeners, saving a penny, do not scatter fertilizer, but apply it directly to the hole or furrow before planting a plant or seed.

The best way would be to mix the granules with the soil and water the planting hole, it will be correct, do not allow direct contact of the granules with the roots, this can be fraught with burns. In this case, you will have to transplant the plant to a new fresh place, otherwise it may die.

For example, it is recommended to put no more than a teaspoon of Kemira in a potato hole. Then sprinkle the granules with earth, and only then place the tuber in the hole. The second time, fertilizer is applied during hilling by embedding it in the soil. The dose is slightly higher than that at landing.

For a number of vegetables, top dressing in the form of drip irrigation is very effective. Greenhouse crops: tomato, cucumber, eggplant and peppers respond well to this procedure, after which active growth begins. Kemira Lux will be appropriate here, it is used every 10 days and 0.5 g of fertilizer is diluted in 10 liters of water.

The versatile look is good for greens, as well as for root crops such as radishes and turnips. Before "feeding" the soil should be well moistened so that trace elements could easily penetrate to the roots.

Watering is also necessary after feeding, this will prevent the root system from burns in case of an overdose and will quickly push the nutrients into the depths of the soil.

Precautionary measures

Any use of fertilizers requires compliance with safety measures.

  • The best remedy against possible poisoning is a respirator. Wear rubber gloves on your hands, and pour the fertilizer into a plastic container.
  • It should be remembered about the correct dosage, an excessive amount of fertilizer will negatively affect the plants and can lead to their death, so read the instructions carefully.
  • Liquid fertilizer is prepared immediately before use; it cannot be stored for a long period.
  • After handling, wash your hands and face with soap and water and rinse your mouth.

Kemira is an effective assistant to any gardener in the struggle for a harvest, if you apply it in a timely manner and correctly, you can achieve high yields, in addition, the resulting berries, fruits and vegetables will be healthy, strong, beautiful and very appetizing!

(hsimage) Everyone has faced the problem when it is difficult to get special ones. Kemira is a widespread fertilizer and can often be found in flower shops or household chemicals departments. In this regard, it is quite popular in and is often used for cooking. There are quite a large number of Kemira species on the market, these are Kemira Lux, Kemira Super, Kemira lawn, etc. But, of course, most often you can find in the store Kemiru Universal-2 and Kemiru Lux For and. Consider the preparation of solutions from these popular fertilizers. Of course, Kemira is not the best choice. But many hydroponicists get excellent results with it. * Experienced hydroponicists advise using one universal solution for all plants. In this case, Chesnokov's solution is universal. Kemir's fertilizer lacks calcium. It is obtained by adding calcium nitrate to the solution.

Kemira Lux For vegetables and seedlings, g / l Calcium nitrate, g / l
Fertilizer Rr Chesnokova * Houseplants Strawberry Tomatoes Cucumbers Salad
1 0,4 0,45 0,52 0,9 0,76 0,75
0,5 0,4 0,75 0,26 0,34 0,55
2 Kemira Universal-2, g / l 1,1 1,2 1,25 1,1 1,1 1,45
Calcium nitrate, g / l 0,16 0,1 0,35 0,35 0,25 0,25

Calcium nitrate has a disadvantage: increasing the level of calcium in the solution, at the same time increases the nitrogen content. Therefore, when calculated with calcium nitrate, the nitrogen level in the fertilizer is slightly increased.

Advice: If there are no obvious signs of calcium deficiency, use the calculation without calcium nitrate.

P.S. It is very difficult, and sometimes impossible, to prepare a solution from ready-made fertilizers so that it is identical to a solution prepared from salts. Therefore, in the above calculations, there are deviations of individual elements from the amount required by the recipe. In the calculations, we still tried to find the optimal ratios so that they were as close as possible to the given recipes. As already stated - Kemira is not an ideal solution. But you shouldn't blindly chase the numbers either. If the plant feels great with the existing solution - what else is needed!

The recipes for the crops described above were taken from: "Growing Plants Without Soil" by V.A. Chesnokov and E.N. Bazyrina. You can download the book in our.

Write in the comments if you want a calculation for other types of Kemira.
