4. Amaranth is very photophilous, so it should be grown in open, well-lit areas.
5. Plant height at favorable conditions can reach 1.5 m.

You can sow amaranth in May immediately in open ground but it is preferable to grow seedlings first. Sowing seedlings is carried out in early April.

Tricolor "Illumination"

The plant also does not tolerate stagnant water and can die from excess moisture, so the soil must be drained.
