Introduction

1. This standard applies to household furniture and specifies functional dimensions chairs, work chairs, sofas, lounge chairs, sofa beds, armchair beds with or without armrests, stools, beds and mattresses.

The standard does not apply to ottomans, couches, chairs and folding chairs.

2. The sizes of chairs and work chairs must correspond to those indicated in table 1, in drawing 1 and 2.

2.1. The width of the seat at its widest point must be at least:

360 mm - for chairs;

400 mm - for work chairs.

2.2. The distance between the armrests must be at least 420 mm. The size is determined at a distance of 180 mm from the back.

2.3. The radius of curvature of the backrest (in plan) must be at least:

450 mm - normal;

220 mm - lumbar.

Note. A conventional backrest is defined as a backrest with a top edge of more than 320 mm above the seat.

Lumbar - means the back, the upper edge of which is located above the seat at a distance of up to 320 mm inclusive.

2.4. The distance from the floor to the lower edge of the front edge or side bar must be at least 300 mm.

3. The sizes of sofas, armchairs for relaxation, sofa beds and armchairs must correspond to those indicated in Fig. 3 and in Table 2.

3.1. The width of one seat of the sofa must be at least 500 mm.

3.2. The seat width at the widest point of the seat must be at least 480 mm.

3.3. The distance between armrests or seat sides must be at least 480 mm. The size is determined at a distance of 300 mm from the backrest.

3.4. Dimensions (edit) sleeping place must be at least:

1860x700 mm - for sofa beds;

1860x600 mm - for chair beds.

4. The depth of the seat is measured from the front edge of the seat to the line of intersection with the backrest or with the vertical line passing through the point of inflection of the backrest.

5. The height of the armrests is measured from the center of the seat depth.

6. The dimensions of the stools must correspond to those indicated in Fig. 4 and 5.

What are the dimensions?

As a rule, the dimensions of the sofa are:

• Width... Varies from 90 cm to 210 in 10 cm increments.
• Length. Sizes can be from 150 cm to 200 cm.

• Seat depth... It is 50, 60, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90 cm.

Consider common examples of straight sofas:

Correctly measuring a suitable product is not difficult. Guided by GOST 19120-93, the sample is installed on a flat horizontal surface, then the width of the product is measured along the outer dimensions (from the protruding edge to the protruding edge), then the width of the seat is measured (excluding the armrests). Determine the height by measuring from the lowest point (foot or floor) of the sofa to the top (highest point). Depth is measured in a similar way. When unfolded, the berth is determined from the extreme point of the extendable structure to the inner point of the back of the sofa.

When determining the overall and functional dimensions of household furniture, it is necessary to be guided by the standards “Household furniture. Functional dimensions "(GOST 13025.1 - GOST 13025.18). They are installed in accordance with anthropometric characteristics and taking into account the size, quantity and rational placement household items... The sizes of products and individual elements that are not stipulated by the standards are established by projects for this product. Below are the functional dimensions of the main furniture items.

The dimensions of the compartments for storing clothes and headdresses must correspond to those indicated in Fig. 1.

The depth of the compartments for storing hats should not be less than 240 mm. The distance from the floor to the top edge of the boom or to work surface top hook - no more than 1900 mm (it can be large if the cabinet is equipped special devices, ensuring the convenience of using the product - a lever for lowering and raising the bar, etc.).

The sizes of the compartments for storing linen must correspond to those indicated in tab. 1.

Note. The sizes indicated in brackets are allowed by agreement with the consumer.

The distance between the shelves or between the shelf and the bounding element of the compartment should be within 280-400 mm. If there are pull-out shelves or trays, the distance between them is 170 mm. The height of the rear wall of pull-out trays and shelves is not less than 30 mm.

The useful volume of compartments for storing one set of bedding in cabinets, wardrobes and sofa beds must be at least 0.11 m3. In sofa beds internal height compartment (box) - not less than 120 mm.

The dimensions of the compartments for storing books should be as follows: the distance between the shelves is 180-390 mm, the depth of the compartment is 140-440 mm. For storing magazines, albums and other products in a horizontal position, the distance between the shelves can be less than 180 mm.

The dimensions of the compartments for storing dishes must correspond to those indicated in table. 2.

Note. Maximum distance between shelves should not exceed 390 mm.

The internal dimensions of boxes for storing cutlery, drawers and half-boxes for table linen are given in table. 3.

Note. The depth of a box (half-box) is the distance from its bottom to structural element limiting the height of the stored items. The distance from the floor to the upper edge of the front wall of the upper drawer or semi-drawer intended for storing linen, table linen and cutlery should not exceed 1250 mm.

If electrical wiring, plumbing or sewerage installations are placed in the cabinet-table, it is allowed to deepen the rear wall up to 100 mm in it. Inner size a utility cabinet, in which the installation of built-in equipment is not provided, should be equal to 300 mm. Depending on the thickness of the material used, a deviation of the overall depth is allowed wall cabinet within ± 35 mm.

The functional dimensions of chairs, work chairs, sofa beds, lounges, armchairs, stools, beds and mattresses are regulated by GOST 13025.2 (the standard does not apply to metal beds, ottomans, couches and folding chairs).

The sizes of chairs and work chairs must correspond to those indicated in Fig. 4.

For chairs, the width of the seat in the widest part should be at least 360 mm, and the bend line of the back at a height h from the seat should be 165-200 mm. In working chairs, the width of the seat in the widest part is at least 400 mm, the distance between the armrests is at least 420 mm (at a height of 180 mm from the back), their height above the seat is 180-240 mm. The radius of curvature of the back (in plan) must be at least: normal - 450 mm, lumbar - 220 mm. The distance from the floor to the lower edge of the front edge or side bar is no more than 300 mm.

Note that under the usual one is meant the back, the upper edge of which is located above the seat at a distance of more than 320 mm, under the lumbar - the back, the upper edge of which is located above the seat at a distance of no more than 320 mm. Seat depth is defined as the distance from the front edge of the seat to the line of intersection with the backrest or with the vertical line passing through the point of inflection of the backrest.

The dimensions of the sofa beds are shown in fig. 4 in, and divans and armchairs - in Fig. 4 g. The width of one seat of the sofa must be at least 500 mm, and the seat of the armchair in the widest part must be at least 480 mm (it is determined at a distance of 300 mm from the back). The height of the armrests above the seat for sofas and armchairs should be 120-350 mm (it is measured from the middle of the seat depth). The dimensions of the berth must be at least: 1860-700 mm - for sofa beds; 1860-600 mm - for chair beds.

The dimensions of the stools must correspond to those indicated in Fig. 5.

The sizes of beds and mattresses for them must correspond to those indicated in Fig. 6.

The length of the mattresses can be as follows (and the recommended length is given in parentheses): l = (1860), (1900), 1950, 2030 mm; width of single mattresses - b = (700), (800), 900 mm, double - (1100), (1200), 1400, 1600 mm.

The functional dimensions of tables are determined in accordance with GOST 13025.3, which applies to dining tables, kitchen dining tables, writing tables, secretaries, as well as products for installing televisions (except for compartments for installing televisions in multi-purpose cabinets).

The dimensions of the dining and kitchen dining tables, as well as the seat at the table, are shown in Fig. 7.

In the dining tables rectangular with a lid length of at least 1200 mm, the distance between the legs along the longitudinal axis must be at least 910 mm (for installing two chairs).

The dimensions of the seat behind the kitchen dining table are allowed at least 500x300 mm. The dimensions of the table cover are determined depending on the quantity seats... The functional dimensions of boxes and compartments for storing cutlery and linen are taken in accordance with GOST 13025.1 (see Table 3).

The distance between the front edge of the table top and the boundary element in depth must be at least 400 mm. The distance from the floor to the working plane of products for performing typewritten work, work on a computer and other organizational equipment is at least 680 mm.

The accepted minimum dimensions of the working plane of writing tables: length - 800 mm, width - 500 mm, and secretaries - 700 and 400 mm, respectively.

Internal dimensions of boxes and semi-boxes for papers should be at least 340x240 mm, and their depth should be 65 mm. (The depth is taken as the distance from the bottom to the structural element that limits the height of the stored items.) But the indicated dimensions do not apply to boxes intended for storing pencils, pens, rubber bands.

When designing tables complete with chairs, work chairs or stools, the height distance between the working plane of the table and the seat of a chair, armchair or taburet should be 290-310 mm, and between the lower edge of the underframe and the seat - at least 190 mm. In transformable tables with a double-thick lid, the distance between the working plane and the seat can be increased by the thickness of the table top.

The main functional dimensions of products for installing TVs are as follows: height of the plane for installing a TV - 500 mm, width - 390-600 mm.

Children's furniture is made in several rooms, taking into account the average height of children. So, tables and chairs are made in five rooms: 00; 0; 1; 2; 3, respectively, for the average height of children 750; 900; 1050; 1200; 1350 mm.

Children's beds are made of two types: I - with a fence and variable bed height, for children under 3 years old; II - for children aged 3 to 7 years. Their dimensions are as follows (mm):

In beds of type I, it should be possible to move the side rail downward during operation by at least 135 mm. By agreement with the consumer, it is allowed to manufacture baby beds with large lengths and widths.
