The manufacturer's guaranteed service life for Night Breaker Plus ranged from 150 to 250 hours. I turn on the low beam only using the light sensor, i.e. automatically. Let's consider: the car's light sensor during my standard trips (home/work, i.e. morning/evening) turns on the low beam for an average of 7 months a year (approximately from October to April inclusive), i.e. 210 days. On average, in the morning I drive to work for 30 minutes, in the evening - 60 minutes, i.e. light bulbs in these dark hours(i.e. for 210 days) they work one and a half hours a day - a total of approximately 315 hours. In total, we can conclude that Night Breaker Plus, which has worked for 13 months, has simply already exhausted (and even recycled) its resource. Test.
I wanted to install these bulbs again, but Osram replaced the Night Breaker Plus series with the new Night Breaker Unlimited series, which, judging by the advertising, already have 110% more light (the light cone is now even longer - 40 m), and the light is already 20% lighter more white.
Night Breaker Unlimited (I wrote more about them) has a light temperature of 3600K, luminous flux - 1350 lm. Last fall I bought and installed Night Breaker Unlimited, and on December 13th of this year the first light bulb from Night Breaker Plus went out. As a result, it turns out that these light bulbs worked for me for 14 months. Test.
Conclusion for two sets Osram lamps Night Breaker for 2 years of their operation on the same car: when buying halogen bulbs with increased output parameters, count on an average year of their operation (provided that the electrics in the car are in good working order and average driving conditions). This is provided that the car has DRLs and the low beam switches on only at night. If you turn on the low beam whenever the car moves at any time of the day, then such bulbs (under similar driving conditions) will barely last you for half a year.

It’s as if their “aging” is programmed and they die in pairs almost on the same day.
