DIY iron slide. Children's wooden slide for the dacha - instructions for making it yourself. Types of slides depending on the material of manufacture

It's hard to find a child who doesn't love to ride downhill. On a sled or snow scooter, on car tire or modern cheesecakes, all children love to joyfully roll down the mountains, surprising adults with their courage and tirelessness. But very often slides located within city limits do not meet all safety standards. That's why modern parents they are simply afraid to let their children ride on such children's slides. What to do in this case? Ban children from playing outside? In no case! You can build a slide yourself!

Let's look at a few simple ways creating a slide for a child with your own hands at home.

  1. Ice slide. With the onset of winter, crowds of children fill all the snowy slopes. But such skiing is not always safe. Very often, slides are located near the roadway. To protect your child from possible injuries and other unpleasant situations, you can make an ice slide yourself. For this you will need:
    • shovel;
    • water;
    • bucket;
    • metal spatula.
    The first thing you need to do is choose a location for the future ice mountain. Firstly, the territory where it will be located children's entertainment, should be located away from busy highways and parking areas. Secondly, you need to decide on the height of the slide. If you plan for children under the age of three to ride on it, then it is preferable to make a slide no more than one meter high. Thirdly, the angle of inclination of the ice structure should not exceed forty degrees. In this case, it will be possible to avoid frequent cases childhood traumatism. Fourthly, it is better to build a mountain in well-lit places. In winter it gets dark very early, so it is preferable to choose an area near which there are Street lights or spotlights.

    Once the area has been selected, begin clearing the area for the future route with a shovel. Excess fragments can be removed using a metal spatula. If you are making a slide for kindergarten-aged children, it is preferable to make sides along the entire length of the track so that children do not have the opportunity to fly off the mountain while riding.

    After the place for the slide has been cleared, proceed to one of the most time-consuming work - the formation of an ice track. A spray bottle will help you with this. Type into product warm water, and then evenly treat the entire surface of the future slide. Make sure there are no uneven spots on it. Otherwise, bumps will form on the slide, which will negatively affect both the quality of the ride and the health of the children. After the slide has dried slightly, fill a bucket with water at room temperature and pour the slide from top to bottom. Make sure that the liquid is evenly distributed on the surface. After this, leave the slide to freeze until the morning. If you have the opportunity, make a wide platform for the children from which they will go down the mountain, as well as steps that are comfortable for children’s feet.

  2. Home slide. You will probably not find a single child who has not at least once built a pile of their improvised materials. Help your children in such a difficult task! Build a home slide with them! To build it you will need:
    • old desk;
    • cabinet door (preferably varnished);
    • plywood;
    • small planks (you can use table legs or pieces from the handle of a shovel).
    To build a home slide, you will have to make room, preferably in the corner of the room, so that the new children's entertainment does not interfere with those at home. We will use the varnished door as a sliding surface, plywood as a staircase. It is necessary to nail the legs from the table or pieces from the handle of the shovel to the surface of the plywood at the minimum possible distance. You can initially fix a couple of boards and then have the children try out the ladder. After you make the rise and fall, they will need to be attached to the tabletop using loops and hooks. Children will be able to slide down such a mountain on pillows, bedspreads, and mattresses. Now they definitely won’t be bored if the weather outside is inclement.
  3. Wooden slide. If your little ones very often visit their grandparents at the dacha, or you live in country house, then you can build a slide on fresh air on one's own. Of course, many advanced parents purchase entire children's complexes. But firstly, it is very expensive. Secondly, just imagine what kind of hero you will look like in the eyes of your son or daughter if you yourself build a wonderful playground for them.

    Basic rules when building a children's slide:

    • It doesn’t matter at all how old your children are: one year or twelve years, the slide must be equipped with safe railings and fences;
    • For the construction of the slide, choose only environmentally friendly components that will not harm the health of children. Never use flammable materials.
    • When building a slide for children, it is preferable to use wood rather than metal structures. Firstly, a wooden slide can be absolutely safely placed anywhere on the site. The metal structure will have to be placed exclusively in the shade, because... It heats up easily, which can cause thermal burns in children. If we consider plastic, it is quite fragile. In any case, a wide range of plastic slides are presented in online stores and at very high prices. affordable prices. Therefore, there is no point in “reinventing the wheel.”
    • Pay special attention to the safety of the children's structure. Remove all gaps and cracks where children can stick their arms, legs, or heads. Before letting your children play with the slide on their own, think through all the nuances to avoid sad consequences.
    So, when we have decided that we will build a children's slide from wood, we need to start choosing materials.

    You will need:

    • grinder or grinding disc;
    • five planks (length 2.2 meters);
    • five bars (length 45 cm);
    • two beams (70 cm each).
    First we make the base for the descent. To do this, we will need boards planed to the same width. To make it comfortable for children to slide down the slide, the slope must be carefully polished. The planks, ready for lowering, are fastened together with beams.

    After we have made the descent from the mountain, we need to start building the side parts of the structure. Initially, you need to decide on the height and angle of inclination of the mountain. Standard sizes All factory designs of children's slides are: height 1.3 meters and angle of inclination 55 degrees. We cut out the side parts so that they fit on the top floor of the slide. The finished sides must be secured on both sides of the mountain using self-tapping screws. Then we sand the sides of the slide and remove all the corners. This will allow us to protect our children from possible abrasions, cuts, fractures and other troubles.

    The final stage of work is painting the slide and securing the supports. The surface of the structure can be covered with stain and then with varnish. After painting, let the children's slide dry for 24 hours. During this time, not only will the paint dry, but it will also disappear bad smell. After this, it is necessary to proceed to the final stage - installing the supports. They are initially buried and then concreted. It is the supports that will serve as some kind of guideline for you, relative to which you will attach other parts of the slide. IN last resort the base of the product is fixed. That's it, homemade wooden slide ready!

Making a slide with your own hands is not that difficult. This will require available tools, materials, as well as several hours of your free time. However, the sincere children's delight, joy and fun that this traditional entertainment will give your children cannot be compared with anything. Become a wizard for your child, give him a real fairy tale!

A children's slide is an excellent option for entertainment, especially in the countryside or local area. It is not difficult to make such a design, and independent work will cost much less than purchasing a ready-made slide in a store. Now we will tell you how to make a slide with your own hands, what you should pay attention to and what nuances to consider.

Material selection

The most common material options include plastic, metal and wood. We will not use the first two, since plastic is quite expensive (as a rule, these are ready-made slide designs), and metal will not be practical due to its high thermal conductivity. In summer it gets very hot, and in cold seasons it becomes icy almost instantly. So we will make our own slide from wood.

Care should be taken to ensure that the slide is positioned in such a way that there is approximately 2 meters around it. free space. This is necessary to ensure safety so that children do not get injured while playing. Having chosen a suitable location, we will start designing the slide.

By by and large the project depends solely on the size of the free space in the local area, the availability of material and your desire. We give you examples of several popular designs, but you can easily plan own version. The main thing is to take careful measurements and mark everything on the diagram.

We draw attention to a number of important points:

  • Focus on the height and age of the child;
  • Consider the steepness of the slope;
  • You may want to include a few bends in the slope.

The slide is made with your own hands from wooden beam 100*100 mm, 30*30 mm, 20*40 mm, as well as 25*100 mm boards, which will act as flooring and steps. We assume the length of the slide to be approximately 3 meters and the height of the structure to be approximately 1.5 meters. Having prepared the material in accordance with the dimensions indicated in your drawing, proceed to preparing the site.

We clear a square or rectangle on the site with sides according to the dimensions of the slide. This will be the place to install the supports. It is also advisable to clear the entire play area immediately as this can be difficult once the structure is erected.

We drill holes in the corners of the intended square or rectangle to a depth of approximately 60-70 cm. We compact the bottom of the holes and cover them with a small layer (5-10 cm) of a mixture of sand and crushed stone for greater strength and stability.

Now we lower the racks into the holes and be sure to fasten them with a planed board at a distance of about 10 cm from the ground. This will ensure the strength of the structure and it will not wobble. Use assistants who will hold the supports during fastening work. Also, do not forget to maintain a strict vertical using building level. In this way we install all the supports (in our case there are four, but you can use more) and fasten them together with boards around the perimeter. For greater strength, it is recommended to make a kind of lower platform from another set of boards, making sure to attach them to the main supports. This platform has no practical value, but with it, your own slide will be much stronger. However, on this site you can build something like a storage facility for toys, but that’s another story.

Installation of the upper floor

Secure the boards at the intended level, similar to the structure you made at the bottom of the slide. Now we take a 20*40 mm beam and install a platform based on these boards close to each other or with small gaps (10-15 mm). Be sure to provide for fastening the beam to the support posts. This can be done using metal corners. This area is covered with a 25*100 mm board, which is nailed very tightly and without gaps to the bars on top. The floor of the upper platform is ready.

You can, of course, immediately attach a plastic slope to the resulting structure, but we will not deviate from the project and will continue to use wood. So, we take two boards with a thickness of at least 30 mm and a length of about 3 meters (as provided for in the projects) and fasten them together with transverse boards 25 * 100 mm. Pay attention to the strength of the connection and maintaining right angles so that your slope does not turn out crooked. The pitch of the transverse board can be left approximately 20-30 mm. This way we will have the base of the slope, which can be covered with plywood or boards that should be polished.

At this stage, you will only secure the material for the slope, and then it will need to be processed. We'll talk about this later. Sometimes people who are interested in the question of how to make a children's slide choose a sheet of galvanized steel as a covering for the slope. This is, of course, a good, slippery option, but very susceptible to atmospheric influence, for example, temperature changes. We'll stop at wooden version, although you can use the material of your choice. Fundamentally, all installation work will not change.

Now we attach the slope to the base. You can simply grind off the edge of the board at the required angle, but for reliability it is recommended to cut special grooves, as shown in the figure. After installation, the parts are fastened with nails. Choose the angle of inclination at your discretion, which is for children younger age It is recommended to make a not too steep descent.

Important point: the lower edge of the ramp needs to be made in the form of a kind of “springboard” and raised above the ground at a level of about 20 cm. This is necessary so that the child does not hit the ground after descending, but, let’s say, “fly” some distance. A springboard can be made from additional boards by assembling simple design with a slight rounding inner side. Thus, the end of the entire descent should be either straight or directed slightly upward.

We cover the springboard with a coating and be sure to round off the front sides of the boards using grinder. We install the slope on a transverse beam, approximately 20 cm high, and fasten it with corners. It is advisable to strengthen the beam by burying two small racks into the ground, but if the structure has sufficient weight, this is not a necessary procedure.

Ladder

To make the stairs, he uses the same parts as in the previous stage. First, determine the angle of inclination of the stairs, and then mark the angle of fastening of the steps. They must be strictly horizontal when the entire structure is ready. The steps are fastened with nails.

From additional boards we construct railings for the stairs and the upper landing itself. Racks for stair railings needs to be made additionally, and the railings of the upper platform will be attached to the main posts of the slide.

The lower edges of the stairs must be protected with an additional cross board. It is advisable to make small racks, digging them into the ground to strengthen the structure.

Finishing work

Wood for a children's slide with your own hands must be carefully polished. Avoid chips or other damage. It is advisable to treat wood with a special varnish, and in several layers. This is especially true for the ramp - the most used element. To save varnish, the base of the slide can be painted acrylic paint, but for handrails and ramps, varnish is best suited.

Remember to let each coat of varnish dry thoroughly before applying the next. Ensure the uniformity of the coating and carefully process all parts, even the most inaccessible places.

Provide safety and convenience for children. We have already cleared the area, now we need to take care of the softness. You can cover the entire area with a special rubber tiles- it is soft enough to prevent injury. Even if you do not have the opportunity to use such a coating, pour piles of clean, sifted sand in front of the slope. To prevent sand from spreading around the site, you can make a kind of sandbox from the boards left over from construction.

Care

So, now you know how to build a slide for children with your own hands, but do not forget that it requires regular maintenance. Intensive use of the slide is from late spring to mid-autumn. Try to check the surface at least once every two weeks, excluding obvious damage, which children should definitely tell you about. If the surface is worn out (especially important for slopes), you should thoroughly clean it, check for chips and re-varnish it. You should not save money - repair the entire surface at once, and not parts of it, since in the future you will have to do double work.

When the slide is not in use, it is advisable to cover it with polyethylene and secure it with ropes. It is better to take opaque polyethylene to protect the slide from direct sunlight. Be sure to check the surface after winter - temperature changes may cause unevenness or structural parts to become loose.

Children's slide in the country or in the local area - great fun, but you can interest children not only in this, but also in the construction process itself. As you can see, building it with your own hands is not difficult and the children will be happy to help you with this. Just don’t forget about safety and regular maintenance of the structure.

In the courtyard country house or at personal plot dachas best entertainment There will be a playground with a slide for children. You can make a children's slide with your own hands. The main thing is to know what materials and tools you will need, and to draw up a competent project plan. After all, there are many combinations: with a steep and sloping descent, with carved decorations, additional play areas, etc. This kind of entertainment will appeal to children aged from two to eight years.

Types of children's slides

Construction and children's stores offer a wide range of ready-made outdoor and indoor slides for children. Small designs suitable for installation inside the house, if the height of the ceilings of the home allows it. But bulky slopes are more suitable for the street. Each model has its own design features, and differs in materials of manufacture:

The last option is best for self-made and installations on summer cottage or in the courtyard of a private house, due to the availability of material, the possibility quick repair or replacing broken parts. In order to repair or install a wooden slide with your own hands, you do not need to call specialists, use welding, etc.

A set of necessary tools

To make a wooden slide for children in the country with your own hands, you will need a fairly large set professional tool. Some tools are sure to be found in every man’s garage or attic; something will have to be purchased or borrowed, for example, from a friend or neighbor. To make a children's slide from wood You will need the following tools:

Armed necessary tool, you can start designing a future entertainment area and purchasing materials for making a ramp.

Creating a Project

Nowadays you can find a lot of ready-made drawings, diagrams, and 3D projects on the Internet, so you don’t have to “reinvent the wheel” yourself. Volumetric models with detailed instructions installation and list necessary materials will help you create designs for children of all ages. They may differ in the material for the descent, the type of stairs, supporting structures, height, etc. When developing a project for a children's slide made of wood The following factors should be taken into account:

In addition, the dimensions of the structure are taken into account, which will help to correctly calculate the width of the ramp and the angle of inclination of the trigger element. When making a wooden slide at the dacha with your own hands, you should take into account the child’s opinion and his wishes.

Materials required for construction

Of course, the dimensions and quantity of materials that will be used to create supports, stiffeners, railings, upper railings, steps and other elements directly depend on the dimensions of the homemade wooden slide for children. These details are specified when choosing a project play area. To understand what materials may be needed, as well as what the installation and construction process will be, we took as an example a project for a children's slide with a slope of 3 meters and an upper platform of 50*50 cm.

List of building materials:

Additional building elements for fastening - these are galvanized screws and anchors. If you need to improve the string of the stairs, then you should stock up on additional lumber.

Construction stages

The process of building a durable slide for children can be divided into several stages. This includes preparation (of materials and installation location), installation of playground supports, flooring, production of a ramp, stairs and safety structures. All these steps are important, poorly executed installation work, can reduce the operational life of the entire structure, as well as reduce the safety of use.

Preparing materials and space for the slide

First of all, you need to take care of the quality of the wood. It must be well dried, this will help to avoid deformation of the bars when using the slide.

This is followed by the stage of processing the lumber with an electric planer, which will allow you to quickly get rid of wood knots and nicks. After this, you will need to sand the wood and round the chamfers. The lower part of the beams is treated with a moisture-resistant material that prevents the wood from rotting, for example, resin or waterproofing mastic.

After this, you can begin to prepare a place for a children's wooden slide. Land plot will need to be well leveled, and then mark the zones where they will be installed supporting elements. The depth of the holes in the corners of the square should be at least half a meter. The lower part of the recesses is covered with crushed stone and sand.

Installation of supports and floor

The support beams are securely installed in the prepared location and then concreted. The structure can be strengthened using a “bundle”. To do this, small cuts-grooves of 2 cm are made in the racks, and a planed board is inserted into them, connecting the supporting elements to each other. Large screws or self-tapping screws are used as fastenings.

After the supports are installed, it is time to begin installing the floor of the top deck of the slide. Wooden blocks The stiffeners are laid parallel to each other, followed by the laying of floor boards. It is worth taking care in advance to ensure that there is no accumulation of rainwater, for this purpose a small gap (5-7 millimeters) is left between the boards.

Making the escapement

If a factory-made plastic ramp is used in the construction of a slide for children, then its installation will not take much time; you just need to screw it to the finished structure. When using lumber, the floorboards are fastened together, and wooden railings are mounted along them.

The floor of the upper platform is attached to the slope in several ways: by forming an acute angle ( optimal inclination equal to 45 o) or cutting out grooves. Important point, this is stripping the wood that forms the slope; it must be perfectly smooth. After sanding, the surface of the slope is coated with varnish or special paint.

To make a ramp, you can choose other materials, for example, slippery plastic sheet, galvanized steel, durable plywood, thick linoleum. Any of this material is applied to a wooden slide, which improves the sliding process as a child slides down the slide. To reduce the risk of injury to the children's slide, any irregularities and places where screws are attached are sanded and coated with special paints.

Installation of stairs and railings

The landing of a wooden slide built with your own hands must consist of at least several steps. The type of construction is selected individually; the ladder can be installed on a stringer or bowstring. How younger child, for which yard entertainment is being made, the smaller the march of steps should be. After this, you can begin attaching the fences, the size and height of which directly depends on the dimensions of the structure and the age of the children.

After installing a children's wooden slide, it is recommended to take care of the safety of the children who will ride on it. It is necessary to arrange the landing area by decorating this place with a sand mound or a soft sports mat. You need to take care in advance to clear the space from thorny bushes, stones, pipes, etc. Periodically checking the structure for dried boards, especially after winter, will help avoid unwanted childhood injuries. This slide goes well with other play elements made with my own hands, for example, benches and sandboxes.

On warm sunny days, I often feel the desire to get out into nature, to the countryside. The main feature of a private house is that there is always something to do on the site - planting a vegetable garden, planting flowers, minor repairs, relaxing in the gazebo. But often our harmony and peace are interrupted by children, because they cannot find anything to do. Children need to play and move all the time. To do this, it is worth building children's slides for the dacha.

A slide with a house provides safety, perfectly captivates the child, takes up time, and interests children more than anything else. And you, in turn, will take care of the housework without worrying about the children.

The prices for slides for children's playgrounds are very high, and not everyone can afford such a gift for a child alone. But for skillful parents there are simple and inexpensive ways to implement this idea.

Play house with slide

To build a house with a slide, first of all, you should decide what the height of the children's slide will be, taking into account the age of the child, your preferences and the possibilities of implementing the project.

For the slide, the house is built two-story, or installed on support beams. You will need to spend a little more material than for a simple small house for kids.

First of all, it is necessary to clarify the location for construction, not only where the structure will stand, but also what the site will be where the child will land. Knowing how children play, use a larger area so that your child does not accidentally get injured during the game.

Having decided on the location for the structure, we move on to the drawing of the house, taking into account your wishes, the characteristics of the area and the desires of your child. As an option, you can take a simple children's slide house. Examples ready-made structures look at the photo of the children's slide.

Slide installation

Install the beams, they will serve as legs for the entire structure. These pillars run the entire height of the children's slide from the ground to the beginning of the roof. This reinforced children's slide has a long service life if used cement mortar for digging into the ground, so the tree will rot less and last longer.

The floor is laid on beams to a certain height; you can use chipboard with cut grooves for the beams or assemble a more durable frame from boards.

Then make the sides or walls for the house, also knocking them out of boards and covering them with plywood for greater safety.

All that remains is to assemble the skeleton for the roof; it can be gable or flat, according to your preference. For the roof you can use any coating at your discretion

We install a plastic slide in the prepared place and secure it.

Children's playhouse with slide and rope ladder

Create children's playhouse You can come up with whatever you want with your own hands. It could be a ladder, a rope, a slide and even a bed, or just your child’s secret room, his own house.

Consider the option with a rope ladder. For this design, you will have to mount a house, taking into account the location of the slide and rope ladder.

Construction begins with the basics, that is, with the chosen location and a clear vision of the building. We install the beams by digging them into the ground; they must be at a certain height for the house and taking into account the platform next to it (where the floor of the house is its platform).

After assembling the main skeleton of the structure, the floor is knocked down, everything is covered with boards and plywood as desired. A frame of walls is built on the basis of the floor. Then it is covered with plywood or boards with cut out windows.

After building a small room in the house, you need to install simple stairs to make it easier for children to climb upstairs. On the other side, install a rope ladder at an angle. Then you can add a slide to the house.

For a rope ladder you will need four strong beams. It is important to make a square out of the beams, leaving a little space at the ends so that the rope does not start immediately. Drill holes along the width of the boards into which the rope will be inserted and tied into a knot.

Tie the ladder itself like a net, but not too stretched and loose. It is important to clean the tree so that the child does not catch a splinter. Use for this grinding machine. Then paint the outdoor children's slide with varnish for beauty and safety.

Photo of a children's slide with your own hands

For full physical development, children require sports equipment and facilities. The simplest is a children's slide. Many parents can build it with their own hands, both in the yard and in the apartment. This article will good help novice masters.

Slide on the site

A favorite childhood pastime has always been skiing downhill. Many people build it out of snow in winter. But with the onset of heat it becomes unusable. And the melting transition itself can sometimes lead to injury.

Therefore, it is best if you build a children’s slide for your dacha with your own hands entirely from wood. You can build it using planks laid on a metal structure. It should be taken into account that such a children's slide can last longer. You can make drawings of such a design with your own hands, based on this drawing.

Slide as part of a children's playhouse

Very often, children are equipped with a real town at the sites. A playhouse equipped for entertaining activities for children may have an additional slide in the form of a slide. Such a structure is especially interesting if the building is installed on piles.

To build a slide from the house you will need a flooring and two sides. If desired, you can use a small platform before the descent. But it is successfully replaced by the veranda of the house or its threshold in the case when the slide is attached directly to the entrance to it.

You can also make a slide in a house installed on the ground. True, then the solution will be quite original and extraordinary. In this case top part the descent should be secured to the “attic” window or even to the roof. Kids will like the option of sliding directly from the windows of the house or from its balcony.

It is very important to take care of the safety of the child! Therefore, it is worth carefully considering the climb to the attic or roof of the house. It is necessary to make a railing on the roof so that the baby cannot fall while playing. The roof should also be flat, without any slope.

It is not necessary to pave the area around the slide and playhouse. It is best to fence it with a low side and cover it with sand. This will help avoid a lot of troubles and make the place less dangerous. Of course, with this option, cleaning in the home will be significantly increased, because children will constantly drag sand into the rooms on their socks and legs.

Actually, if desired, you can adapt the slide-descent on a regular country house, intended not for games, but for living by the whole family. This is convenient to do when the house is on stilts and there is a high porch. Then they make a slide by covering part of the stairs with boards. It is necessary to install a small side on the downhill side, protecting it from the steps.

Staircase in the house and children's slide

It’s not at all difficult to build an original descent from one floor to another with your own hands. Moreover, such design move will become creative solution Problems with children riding on stair railings. Such a children's slide, attached to the stairs with your own hands, is original, interesting, and beautiful.

This is how it is done.

Two identical boards will serve as the side parts of the slide. The third board will be its base. Having put together a structure resembling a gutter, you should cut off its edge under the right angle. The sharper the angle, the flatter the children's slide will become. The master himself will be able to adjust the tilt with his own hands.

One of the side parts of the slide should act as a supporting post to which the steps are attached. The second end of the steps can also be supported by another carrier wooden stand. But there is an option to mount them directly to the wall.

A slide like a descent from the second tier of a bed

Interesting design option children's corner, which includes a sleeping area on the second tier. This could be a children's slide, made with your own hands from wood and attached to sleeping place. Of course, it is necessary to leave the usual stairs.

To build an additional slide, you will need three boards: the directly lower part for sliding and two side ones, which will play a role load-bearing structure. They are knocked together in the form of an incomplete parallelepiped from three sides. The lower edge of the load-bearing sidewalls is cut off at an angle. Subsequently they are installed on the floor. The upper edge of the sidewalls is also cut down, but the cut should be perpendicular to the base. This section is attached to the side of the bed.

Details of the simplest slide for kids

This structure is suitable for kids to play both outdoors and indoors. This children's slide is made from wood with your own hands. Drawings of parts are given without indicating dimensions. They can be selected arbitrarily.

But one rule should be strictly observed: the sides of some parts are equal.

The width of the upper platform (2) before the descent must correspond to the width of the side posts (1). The same size should be at the descent itself, as well as at the lower struts between the posts, which give the structure rigidity. Most likely, the length of the steps will correspond to it.

The bevel lines at the sides of the stairs (top and bottom) must be parallel. The same is true with the bevel lines at the side edges of the descent.

Fastening a simple slide

The installation of the structure should be considered. If you are making a do-it-yourself outdoor children's slide from wood, the drawings of which are presented here, then metal pins should be attached to the lower side of the posts, which are best dug into the ground or even cemented from below to make a foundation. The structure used in the apartment can be rigidly attached to the wall with one side support.

Instructions for assembling a slide from finished parts

Before you make a children's slide with your own hands, you should choose quality material manufacturing. The boards should not have cracks, knots, or unevenness, and should be of sufficient thickness.

The parts can be connected using metal angles and bolts.

  • First, the upper platform is attached to the racks at the required height before lowering.
  • Then the bottom of the racks should be fixed with spacers. They are nailed to the lower parts of the racks parallel to each other.
  • The stairs are assembled separately from steps and sidewalls. It is worth considering the fact that the sharper the cut angle of the sidewalls, the flatter the staircase will be.
  • The upper part of the rise is attached to the platform before the descent.
  • The slide is also assembled separately. To do this, the sides of the descent are fastened with a groove to the descent part. And here it is worth remembering that the steeper the cut angle of the sides, the steeper the slide will be.
  • The upper part of the descent must be fixed flush to the upper platform.
  • The entire structure should be treated with a corrosion inhibitor, painted, and varnished.

Building a slide will take very little time, but it will bring great joy to the kids! And if adults manage to involve the child in work, then the educational effect will not take long to arrive.
