Heading:

Not being an expert, but wanting to gain experience in the field construction technologies, the most good idea In terms of starting training, this is finishing the toilet with tiles. The reason for this is quite simple - the toilet room is usually small in size, so even if something goes wrong, you can always call a specialist who will fix everything, and your financial losses will be minimal. Therefore, the article below is about the main stages of laying tiles in a toilet. Let's begin.

Toilet tiling

First of all, it is necessary to prepare the floor, since this is what will be Starting point styling Accordingly, you need to remove the plumbing from the room. Next, the old tiles and baseboards are removed, the surface is thoroughly cleaned, dust and dirt are removed.

After this, check how level the floor is. This can be done using a level. If the surface is flat and no screed is required, you can begin the main work.

Choosing which method of laying tiles in the bathroom suits you

So, at this stage you need to decide which method of laying tiles is right for you:

  • 1. Two tiles are laid in the center, thus creating identical halves on the sides.
  • 2. The tiles are laid from the edge. This option is simpler and faster, but not so interesting in terms of design.

The next step is preparation adhesive solution. To do this, the dry mixture is mixed with water in certain proportions, which the manufacturer indicates in the annotation for the product or on its packaging. Next you need to prime the floor.

Laying tiles begins with the fact that you determine the highest point, which will be your reference point. When you apply glue, this is where the layer should not be too large.

Choosing which method of laying tiles in the bathroom

To apply the glue evenly, use spatulas, one of which should be smooth and the other serrated, allowing the glue to be evenly stretched over the surface. The solution itself is applied both to the surface and to the tile itself, of course, from the inside.

Laying in the toilet does not start from the far corner, as is usually the case, but, on the contrary, from the door, moving deeper into the toilet room (if you chose the option of laying tiles not from the central part). So, first lay the whole tile, then lay the cuts. Plastic crosses must be inserted between the tiles.

After you have laid all the tiles, proceed to cleaning them from any remaining adhesive and grouting the joints. Grouting is carried out using a rubber spatula, which is used to apply a special solution.

This, in fact, is the end of the work. If everything worked out for you, you can safely move on to laying tiles in larger rooms. The most important thing is patience, accuracy and perseverance. And the main difficulty in laying tiles in the toilet lies only in the small size of the room itself. But the cost savings and the satisfaction of having the job done yourself are worth it!

How to properly lay tiles in the bathroom - instructions

Since the most commonly used material when renovating bathrooms is tile, we will describe how to properly install tiles in the bathroom. So let's look at this issue in more detail.

In order to decorate your bathroom with ceramic tiles, you do not need to call specialists. this work not so complex that you can't handle it yourself. Let's consider all the stages.

Calculation of the number of tiles

It all starts with calculating the area of the walls; for this, the width and height are measured, the resulting numbers are multiplied, and the area value is obtained. Keep in mind that there are times when it is necessary to replace tiles that have chipped or have defects, so when purchasing material, it is better to buy a little more (5-10%) than to go shopping again. Purchase tiles by the square meter.

Tool for laying tiles (Optimal set)

You need to make sure you have everything you might need for work, so get:

  • 1. Tiles;
  • 2. Tile adhesive;
  • 3. Use a notched trowel to apply glue;
  • 4. Mixture to rub the seams;
  • 5. Rubber spatula;
  • 6. Crosses and wedges to adjust seams;
  • 7. A tile cutter or grinder to cut tiles;
  • 8. Tape measure, level, solution basin and pencil.

The most important thing is the safety and security of plumbing fixtures and furniture, so you need to cover them with film and cardboard. In addition, if the bathroom has uneven surfaces, they need to be leveled.

Preparing to lay tiles in the bathroom

Next, a line is drawn along the entire perimeter of the wall - the initial landmark. Use the level as a ruler, because depending on how smooth this line is, the quality of your work will ultimately depend.

Ceramic tiles are laid on glue, for the manufacture of which a dry mixture is used, diluted with water and mixed well.

Laying tiles on bathroom walls

It is assumed that our walls are already smooth and primed, ready for laying tiles. We leave space to lay out the first row later, and start laying from the second row.

Laying tiles on the walls in the bathroom - we start from the bottom row, and put the bar set to zero

The starting point is the same line that we originally drew. Using a notched trowel, apply the adhesive solution to the wall. If you don't have a notched trowel, you can use a simple small trowel.

In order to optimal width the seams have been fixed, you will need the “crosses” mentioned above.
Be sure to check whether the tile line is moving in any direction; it is convenient to check this with a level. It is worth noting that since solid tiles will not fit in the corners, be prepared to have to cut the tiles. Again, this is why it was mentioned above about the need to have a tile cutter.

Grouting joints

When the tiles have already been laid, the seams will need to be cleaned of any remaining adhesive mortar and then grouted. Grout is not only waterproofing material, she also performs decorative properties. Once the grout has dried, rinse the tiles with water.

Once all work is completely completed, the surface must be cleaned again. Now you can admire your bathroom, transformed beyond recognition!

Modern bathroom design video

IN modern apartment Almost everyone has tiles. It is actively used in finishing kitchen space, shower room, toilet or bathroom. Without further controversy, we must agree that ceramics is one of the most practical materials, effectively protecting the surface from negative impact moisture It is easy to use and has a long service life. However, a reasonable question arises: how to lay tiles in the bathroom?

There are two ways to solve this dilemma - hire a professional or lay the tiles yourself. Considering the fairly high cost of tiles, the help of a specialist will be quite expensive. In this case, it is better to think about how to properly lay tiles in the bathroom, since the renovation may not be entirely complicated if you figure it out. In addition, today it is enough to purchase tools, and you can lay the tiles yourself. We will need:

  • roulette;
  • building level;
  • electric drill;
  • spatula with teeth;
  • tile cutter;
  • rubber hammer;
  • microfiber or foam sponge.

Tile selection

You only need to become familiar with certain features of the tile material, which must be taken into account when laying products in the shower room. However, today, if there is a desire, this issue becomes completely solvable. Therefore, first initial stage you should select the necessary tiles and raw materials for its installation, and also decide on color scheme ceramics and its quality.

The tiles should not have any chips, cracks or other defects. The coating should be a uniform layer without any bubbles, air pockets or drips. It is best to take several products for inspection, after which you can draw a conclusion about the whole batch. In order to know how to lay tiles in the bathroom, you need to keep in mind that the quantity of tiles purchased should be approximately 10% more than the required volumes.

This is due to unplanned losses during repairs. Otherwise, it may happen that when you come for the next batch of tiles, it will be slightly different from the previous one.

Such circumstances happen almost all the time, so in order to avoid unplanned losses, it is recommended to purchase a little more products than necessary.

What do you need?

You need to start the repair by taking measurements of all the surfaces on which the tiles will be laid. Decorative tiles usually purchased individually, and regular ones by square meters. Each product must match in size, shade, article number, and pattern. The outdated one should be dismantled flooring in the room, regardless of whether it is tile, paint, plaster or something else. The most best base, on which you can lay tiles - concrete or brick.

During the repair process, it is necessary to make the surface perfectly flat, so the walls and floor are most often primed, and then thoroughly waterproofed. This will improve adhesion between surfaces and protect against the negative effects of various microorganisms. You need to glue the tiles yourself using a spatula, after which the floor is screeded. For repairs you will need:

  • primer;
  • tile adhesive;
  • grout;
  • waterproofing;
  • crosses for seams;
  • wooden or metal slats.

Laying order

Laying tiles in the bathroom with your own hands is, of course, not an easy process, but it is possible. Most optimal method consists of creating a moisture-proof layer using silicone and grout along the edges of the side all the way to the bathtub. It is better to take a run-up in a certain sequence from the far corner of the room to the exit. This arrangement will make the space more attractive, and at the same time more convenient.

Laying tiles stages:

  1. We cladding everything that is above the bathroom level up to ceiling covering. The very first row does not need to be glued end to end, but should be retreated from the edge of the bathtub up to 2 mm by the thickness of the cross. Before this, you can take a run for clarity.
  2. If you leave room under suspended ceiling, then it is also necessary for plastic edging around the entire perimeter. Installation is carried out at an arbitrary height, which will make installation easier, since there is no need to worry about adjusting trims.
  3. After these stages are completed, the repair continues by laying out the bottom ones next to each other in the shower room. This order allows you to carry out even without a run-up correct styling ceramics.
  4. The next step is the construction of a frame under the bathtub, which must be installed and lined. It must be made of hard metal, and covered with plasterboard sheets.
  5. Tile products have sufficient weight, so you should not skimp on the profile and purchase cheap thin-walled elements.
  6. At the final stage of repair we prime concrete surface, glue the tiles to the floor.

Process

How to lay tiles in the bathroom so that everything works out correctly? In principle, everything is simple! The above tips will help you understand rough plan actions, which may vary slightly depending on specific situation. In order to lay the tiles we need special glue. It is usually sold in powder form, which is why it must be diluted with water according to the instructions on the package.

The resulting solution is thoroughly mixed using an electric drill until smooth. As a result, the tile adhesive should not turn out too thick or too liquid. The desired consistency is similar to nut paste, so it is easier to apply and does not drip. A spatula with serrated elements is ideal for applying the adhesive. The tile is pressed tightly, but not forcefully, otherwise it may burst or crack.

Under non-standard sizes It is better to cut ceramics using a tile cutter.

In some cases, the use of an angle grinder is allowed. More fine work performed with wire cutters or pliers. We do the run-up together with special crosses for the seams. They really help to lay the tiles correctly. However, products do not always have correct form, so certain problems may arise. Therefore, the width of vertical and horizontal joints should be measured regularly.

To identify possible defects at the initial stage, it is important to check each row for level after laying out the first 3-5 tiles. Having completed the row, you need to complete the corners, and only then move to another wall, for example, the support row will be located strictly along the perimeter of the room. After which everything is repeated again from the point where the vertical line was marked.

Laying ceramics using adhesive must strictly follow a certain principle so that the width of the tile does not exceed the required surface. The repair is completed by gluing the bottom row, which is adjusted to length and then cut.

Now everything is clear how to lay tiles in the bathroom! However, that's not all, since stick ceramic products half the battle, they must be processed correctly, otherwise the repair will be considered incomplete. To do this, it is necessary to grout the joints after 24 hours. Before this procedure, you should get rid of excess glue that has remained or leaked from under the tile. It is necessary to dilute a special mixture, which is applied inside the seams with a rubber spatula.

We wait about half an hour, during which time the seams will harden and you can carefully wash them with a sponge or cloth soaked in water, without washing the solution out of the gaps. The cloth used for wiping must be constantly clean, which is why it must be periodically moistened in warm water. After the plaque appears white You should wash everything again with a clean cloth.

Stripping and cleaning

After completing the previous stage, you need to carefully treat the seams with a special mixture. It is aimed at protecting against negative factors such as moisture, fungus or mold, and also plays a decorative role. For wide gaps, grout with sand is perfect, and in some cases, latex will not hurt. This material will add elasticity and durability to the coating, although it will complicate the process somewhat.

When adding latex, the dry powder is not diluted with water; after preparing the mixture, leave it for a while. Only after it has arrived can it be used, however, it is worth knowing that it is best to make it in small portions and use it immediately.

This grout is applied with a cloth or even a brush, and then spread with a rubber trowel over the entire surface. It is better to apply it diagonally at an angle of 45 degrees, as this allows you to most effectively fill all the seams. Only after this can you begin final cleaning, where you will need water and a foam sponge.

Video instruction

IN construction stores can be found a large number of finishing materials, but tiles are still used for the bathroom due to its advantages and properties.

Due to the popularity of the material, manufacturers produce a wide range of colors, textures and sizes. The choice depends on the taste of the consumer.

The disadvantage of renovating a bathroom is the high cost of the work, so the article will describe in detail the process of how to lay tiles on the wall in the bathroom yourself in order to save money on paying for craftsmen.

Dark colors can visually make the bathroom smaller

Before you begin the process of installing tiles, it is recommended that you familiarize yourself with some tips that can help and make the work easier:

  1. Carry out calculations on the number of tiles for the bathroom. To do this, it is advisable to make a drawing of the room on a regular sheet of paper where the walls will be drawn. After this they are transferred to the wall exact dimensions tiles, and then the piece quantity for the walls is calculated.
  2. When buying tiles, you need to immediately take care of the adhesive composition. Tile adhesive should be purchased immediately for the entire volume of purchased tiles. The universal mixture is CM11. Price and quality correspond to each other.
  3. When choosing tiles, it is better to spend a little time in the store inspecting each specimen, rather than having to go through the hassle of installation later. Each tile must be free of defects and cracks.
  4. For small rooms It is better to lay tiles on the walls light color, which will visually increase the space. Dark colors visually make the room smaller, and if they are used, it is better to lay them on the floor or as inserts on the wall.

Preparatory work

The bathroom, before laying tiles, requires especially careful preparation, because 80% of success will depend on this process and the evenness of the walls. Before laying tiles on the wall in the bathroom with your own hands, you must:

  1. Remove all furniture from the room.
  2. Turn off the water.
  3. Dismantle all plumbing fixtures and, if they are to be used in the future, removal must be carried out carefully so as not to damage them.
  4. Make a withdrawal old tiles, for quick removal, a hammer drill is used; it must be switched to impact mode and placed under the bottom of the tile. You should wear goggles, gloves and a respirator to protect yourself from debris and dust. For convenience, the very first tile is removed manually using a chisel.
  5. Check the evenness of the wall using a plumb line and level. For corners, use a square, all angles must be 90 degrees. If the walls are smooth, then you won’t have to level them, but this rarely happens.
  6. Before leveling, cover the wall with soil and, when the soil dries, install beacons. To do this, glue is applied in certain places, to which the beacon is applied and set according to the level. Beacons are placed along the entire plane in the same way; the vertical can be controlled as a rule.
  7. The gaps between the wall and the beacons should be filled with mortar, the main thing is not to accidentally move the guides, and also to prevent sagging. When the glue has hardened, you can continue working.
  8. The walls are leveled using the usual cement mortar, but to increase strength, one part of cement is replaced by one part of tile adhesive. Trowel ready mix thrown onto the wall, it is better to start from the top and level the surface from bottom to bottom. After filling a space of 1 meter with the solution, you need to apply the rule to the beacons and remove the excess. The remainder is sent to a container with a common mixture and work continues until all the space between the beacons is filled.
  9. If unevenness occurs, you can smooth the wall with a float, but only when the solution has dried. Place a little solution on the uneven surface and remove the defect using circular movements.

At this point, the preparation of the walls is completed; after the mixture has completely dried, you can begin laying tiles on the walls in the bathroom.

After preparatory work It is better not to apply anything to the walls for a couple of weeks. During this time, the solution will be able to dry completely.

Types of tile laying

Many people are used to laying tiles in even rows.

But there are other methods of laying tiles on walls that can give the bathroom an unusual look. visual effect and individuality.

All methods and descriptions are presented in the table:

Laying methodDescription of the method
1 StraightMost easy way, which is suitable in case of independent work without experience. The first tile is laid on the longest wall, and the remaining parts are laid along vertical and horizontal lines. There is a minimum amount of waste in the work, making the method economical.
2 DiagonalThe method is more complicated than direct, but diagonal laying will allow you to hide imperfections in the bathroom and also add volume to the room.
3 ChessA combination method is used different colors. Main in this method- maintain the evenness of colors. It is recommended to carry out the selection so that the last row does not have to be trimmed. To avoid undercutting, you can change the size of the joints between the tiles.
4 Offset installationUnusually complex, but effective way. Not every type of tile is suitable for such installation, and it is better to entrust the work experienced specialist. Independent work highly not recommended.
5 MosaicThe style can be used if the apartment already has mosaics in other rooms. The method is the most difficult of all, so only a good tiler can carry out the work.

The choice of method depends not only on experience, but also on the size of the room. Below we will describe the standard method of how to correctly lay tiles direct method. After all, this method is the simplest and can be done without any work skills.

When buying tiles for walls, you should take 5-10% more in case of insurance against splits, cracks and improper cutting.

Installation instructions

Install cut elements at the bottom

At the very beginning, the wall is measured and divided by the height of the tiles. If the result is an equal number, then there is no need to cut the tiles, but this often happens very rarely. In this case, the integer will mean required amount rows. It is worth considering the seams between the tiles; often they do not exceed 5 mm.

To make the walls beautiful, it is better to install the cut elements at the bottom, this reduces their visibility. But another problem arises: the first row from above cannot be applied to the wall, so a flat wooden plank is used, which is installed along a horizontal line.

To install it, you need to measure the height of the future cut parts, the measurement is taken from the floor and at this level the plank is attached to the wall. Detailed description Watch the process in this video:

Apply adhesive to an area larger than the size of the tile

Level is leveled horizontal plane, only then can you start installing tiles on the wall in the bathroom:

  1. You need to pour water into a bucket and pour dry tile adhesive in small parts, then stir with a mixer or a drill attachment. The proportions are indicated on the glue packaging. The consistency of the solution should be like thick sour cream, so that when applied to the tiles it does not flow, but does not stretch across the surface.
  2. The adhesive is applied to the tiles using a notched trowel, and the tiles are carefully pressed against the wall so that the solution is evenly distributed. The bottom of the tile should stand on wooden slats, and the side can be checked using a level.
  3. The next tile is glued in a similar way. To ensure uniform seams, you should use crosses that are designed for tiles. Seams are needed to prevent the tile from cracking due to thermal expansion.
  4. When one row is laid, you will need to install vertical strips on both sides. The size of the planks should be similar to the height of the tiles.
  5. Next, the thread is stretched horizontally, which will serve as a guide for the other row. This eliminates the need to check each laid tile with a level, which saves time.
  6. If the tiles do not become solid pieces across the entire width of the wall, it is better to place the cut pieces in the corners to preserve visual beauty. Watch this video for tips from a tile laying expert:

A rail nailed under the first row will help you track the horizontal level.

These instructions will help you do the work yourself and lay tiles on the walls throughout the bathtub. Each row is installed by analogy with the instructions given.

The tiles are cut with a tile cutter, and for small cuts or grooves you can use a grinder.

The work will be of high quality if you monitor the vertical and horizontal levels. Even a slight distortion will spoil the beauty of the most expensive tile.

At the end, the tiles must be cleaned of any remaining adhesive and the room must be closed for several days to adhesive composition grabbed securely and dried. After a few days, the joints are grouted using expensive and high-quality mixtures. During grouting, excess should be removed immediately, especially if there is a textured pattern.

Having studied the features of laying tiles in the bathroom, its advantages, calculation methods and installation tips, you can safely begin work. All the described recommendations and instructions make it possible to ensure that the tiles on the walls in the bathroom will serve for many years and delight you with their beauty.

Popular wisdom says: the right beginning is half the battle, and in such a matter as the technology of laying tiles in the bathroom, you simply cannot do without a sufficient amount of knowledge.

And indeed, for a non-professional, a whole series of questions arises: where should the process of laying tiles begin, what is the sequence of finishing the walls and floor, in fact, where to start?

Before you begin directly covering the walls and floors, you need to clearly understand the procedure for carrying out the work and the end result. So, if you have started remodeling a room, then you need to complete a project with the location and dimensions of partitions and doors, and provide for it optimal location water supply and sewerage and ensuring unhindered access to shut-off valves communications. You should also think about the tile laying scheme in advance.

Stages of finishing the room

  • Choice the right tools, devices and materials.
  • Preliminary preparation of the room.
  • Preparing surfaces for laying tiles.
  • Wall and floor cladding.
  • Grouting of seams and final finishing.

List of necessary tools and materials:

  • Tile cutting tool (any available from diamond glass cutter to an electric tile cutter).
  • Rubber or wooden hammer(mallet).
  • The spatula is regular and notched.
  • Pencil or marker.
  • Level.
  • Roulette.
  • Drill with mixing attachment for mixing.
  • Hammer with blade.
  • Hammer and chisel.
  • Plastic crosses.
  • Tile adhesive.
  • Plaster or putty.
  • Brush and soft sponge.

Preliminary preparation

The stage is in principle simple, but quite labor-intensive. It should start with dismantling the old plumbing fixtures and removing worn-out tiles from the walls and floors in the room. The work is done with a well-known hammer and chisel, but do not forget about safety precautions and the mandatory use of protective equipment: glasses, gloves.

If the surface of the walls has been painted, then be sure to clean them of paint residues to prevent the laid tiles from falling off. This can be done using a spatula, a scraper, a hammer drill with a spatula, or a grinder with a special attachment in the form metal brush.

Surface preparation

Before starting work on the walls and floors, it is necessary to conduct a preliminary inspection of the condition of the plaster in the room.

The quality of the final result depends 90% on the preparation of the surface for laying tiles.

If swelling is detected, the plaster is knocked down to the wall material and the surface is replastered. Then we check the wall for verticality and, if necessary, level the wall’s “departure” from the vertical with plaster or putty.

The floor surface must also be checked for horizontalness and the presence of depressions and protrusions. To correct the situation, you can use both conventional mixtures of sand and cement, and special self-leveling compounds.

Once you have no comments left on the condition of the surface of the floor and walls, you need to start priming the base. This must be done for better connection adhesive mixture with the surface.

Tile adhesive is made as follows: dry water is introduced into a container with water in small portions. glue mixture and stirred using an electric drill with a mixing attachment. It is recommended to make approximately 1 square meter of finished glue.

Choosing a tile gluing pattern

Before you begin installing tiles on a wall or floor, you should choose a laying scheme and decide where it is best to start tiling. To mark the floor surface we determine geometric parameters premises. In other words, you need to outline a rectangle on the floor surface with the vertex located in the corner where you plan to start cladding. In most cases, this angle will be the one that is most visible. The lines bounding the rectangle are the boundaries of the outer rows of tiles.

When marking walls for laying tiles, you need to start by measuring the height of the room and then, using the tiles as a template, from top to bottom we mark the location of each row of tiles on the wall. Thus, we get the starting point for gluing the tiles. The bottom row is placed in the outermost queue.

Technology of laying tiles on the floor

There are several options where you can start tiling the floor in the bathroom:

  • Laying from the “red corner”. More precisely, from the farthest visible corner;
  • Laying from the threshold. Floor covering in this option should start from the corner closest to the door;
  • Laying from the center of the room. The method is only suitable for sufficiently spacious premises with the arrangement of furniture and plumbing around the perimeter of the bathroom.

We determined where to start laying the floor. It's time to start the actual installation process. Using a trowel, apply tile adhesive to a flat, primed floor surface in a layer of 10-15 mm. Then spread the adhesive mixture with a notched trowel and lay the tiles on the floor. With a little effort we press it into the glue and back it up with wooden or rubber mallet.

From time to time, be sure to check the evenness of the resulting surface using a level, if necessary, place an additional amount of glue under the tiles, or, conversely, by pressing individual tiles harder, we achieve absolute evenness of the floor.

Technology of laying tiles on the wall

The process of wall cladding is carried out from the bottom up. The first row of tiles is installed on a leveled rail, so that subsequent rows are level horizontally; vertical slats are mounted in the corners of the walls, to which a cord is attached to align subsequent rows of tiles along it.

The adhesive mixture is distributed over the wall with a notched trowel, we apply the tile to a certain place and lightly press down. After laying the adjacent tiles, we insert special crosses between them, allowing us to have a constant thickness of the seam.

The optimal thickness of the joint between the tiles is 2-4 mm.

Then we tap the tile with a rubber hammer and check the evenness of the resulting surface. Don’t forget to let the tiles “set” every four rows. As soon as the tiled wall has dried, you can glue the bottom row, for which you remove the support rail on which the tiles were installed on the wall.

Grouting and final finishing

Processing of seams is carried out after laying the tiles and cleaning the surface from glue residues. Grouting is done with special jointing compounds. It is advisable to treat the joints with an antiseptic. Spread the grout with a rubber spatula. After which the surface of the walls and floor should be cleaned and washed to remove any remaining glue and grout mixture, and the room should be brought back into order.

Grouting tile joints - the last stage

As it turned out, laying tiles correctly in the bathroom is not such an impossible task, the main thing is a little patience and everything will work out.

Porcelain tiles have long been a leader in finishes in bathrooms, kitchens, pools and other wet areas. It serves for a long time and is pleasing to the eye if the tile laying technology is followed.

How to lay tiles in the bathroom - video material will help you understand the intricacies of this process.

Where to begin

Any repair begins with measuring the area and calculating the required amount of material. Let's look at simple example correct calculation of the required amount of tiles and adhesive for tiling the floor in a small bathroom.

A video of laying tiles in a bathroom will help you understand this process more clearly.

  1. First, measure the perimeter and calculate the floor area. For example, we have a room 2x2.4 meters.
  2. Let's say you liked a tile measuring 30x30 cm. Therefore, 7 pieces will lie along a 2 m wall, and 10 centimeters will have to be cut off.
    Exactly 8 pieces are placed along the second wall, 2.4 m long. Total we have: 7x8 = 56 pieces - the required quantity in our case. It is advisable to have a couple of tiles in reserve, since ceramics are a durable material, but quite fragile. This means you need to buy 58 pieces.
  3. Now glue for installation. Usually it is taken at the rate of 5 kg per square meter subject to good surface preparation (evenness of the floor screed).

Floor covering

We do the same with the walls. To avoid mistakes, we calculate the amount required for each wall separately and then add it up.

We subtract the doorway and window, if there is one, from the total area so as not to buy too much, but at the same time do not forget about a supply of several pieces.
