Recipe for super lazy cabbage rolls. In order to prepare them you will need a minimum amount of cooking practice. And the result can pleasantly surprise you.

Ingredients:

  • Minced meat - 500 grams (your choice, but it is better to use mixed).
  • 300 fresh cabbage.
  • 100 grams of rice.
  • 2-3 pcs. carrots.
  • 1-2 heads of onions.
  • 3-4 fresh tomatoes or tomatoes.
  • 1 egg.
  • 1 tablespoon flour.
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic.
  • Salt, pepper, spices to taste.

Cooking process:

1. Fresh cabbage is used as a filler in this recipe. Since we are preparing lazy cabbage rolls and there is no need to wrap anything in cabbage leaves, but its taste is necessary, the cabbage needs to be finely chopped.

2. Now transfer the shredded cabbage into a separate bowl with a lid, pour boiling water over it, cover with a lid and give some time for the cabbage to reach the desired state. This will take about 10-15 minutes.

3. While the cabbage is brewing, let’s make rice. It must be rinsed well running water This will get rid of the rice flour. Pour the washed rice into a new saucepan, fill it with water and set to cook on low heat. As you know, rice takes 12 minutes to cook until the water boils. We need to cook the rice until half cooked. Therefore, we monitor when the water boils, cook for exactly 6 minutes and drain the water from the rice.

4. Peel and chop all these vegetables in any way available to you.

As for garlic, you can use it as desired.

5. Onions and carrots need to be fried until golden and appetizing. But not all the onions need to be fried; leave some onions to add to the minced meat.

6. When the onions and carrots are well fried, divide the frying into 2 parts, make one pile larger and the other smaller. And now put the least amount in a separate bowl, these vegetables will need to be placed in a form for baking cabbage rolls.

7. Leave the remaining vegetables in the pan and add to them a tablespoon of flour and a tablespoon of tomato paste. Mix everything well and fry.

8.Add a little salt and pepper. Fry everything together for 5-7 minutes and set aside.

9.During this time, the cabbage has reached the state we need. Drain the water from the cabbage and lightly squeeze the cabbage to get rid of excess moisture. But don't overdo the cabbage, we want it to remain a little moist.

We have almost all the ingredients ready, now we can start mixing everything together.

10.The rice has cooled to desired temperature and now you can work with it.

Select a container in which to mix all the ingredients.

11.And so add minced meat, egg, cabbage, and fried vegetables to the rice. Mix everything well until smooth. Also don't forget about salt and pepper. Mix all ingredients until smooth. Attention, the mass should be such that it would be easy to make cabbage rolls from it. If the mass turns out to be a little dry in your opinion, then you can add a little cabbage water or regular water.

12.When the mass is completely ready, take the second half of the fried vegetables and put them in the form in which we will bake our lazy cabbage rolls.

13. All that remains is to form the cabbage rolls and place them on a baking sheet.

14. Arrange the cabbage rolls more tightly so that they all fit into one batch.

If the minced meat sticks to your hands, just wet your hands with water.

15.Put the baking sheet in the oven and bake the lazy cabbage rolls at 200 degrees for 30 minutes. During this time, a golden crust should appear.

During this time, the dish will stew well and become ready.

We take the baking sheet out of the oven, give the cabbage rolls a little time to rest for 5-7 minutes and remove the foil.

Look what a wonderful dish you turned out, it’s just a fairy tale. You can serve lazy cabbage rolls on the table and treat your guests or your beloved family. Bon appetit.

Bon appetit.

Stuffed cabbage rolls are rightfully considered quite delicious dish, but their preparation is quite labor-intensive. The same cannot be said about lazy cabbage rolls with cabbage and minced meat. They are a product of lazy evolution, and are very reminiscent of a mixture of cutlets and meatballs that are familiar to everyone.

How to cook delicious lazy cabbage rolls with cabbage and minced meat

Cooking delicious, juicy and aromatic cabbage rolls contains a lot of different points, conventions and rules.

  1. Never be afraid to experiment with minced meat. As long as you stick to the basics, you can add whatever you want to it. But you shouldn’t go beyond the bounds of sanity.
  2. Combine different foods and try a variety of supplements. Would you like to mix carrots into the minced meat? Stir it in. Do you want an unusual spice or spice? Please. What about replacement? classic ingredients? For example, replace white rice with wild rice, and white cabbage to Beijing? And you can do this too.
  3. If you want to try all the “formulas” of minced meat, then simply make a large portion of regular minced meat, divide it into parts according to the number of variations planned, and mix each part according to your desire. This way you can select a recipe to suit your taste in one go, without spending a lot of time.
  4. Using a variety of sauces and gravies, you can achieve a unique taste, even if the minced meat is the same over and over again. Try sweet and sour, spicy, tomato, broth-based and other sauces.
  5. For minced meat, use mostly fatty meat, but no frills. Adipose tissue This will make the cabbage rolls dense, elastic and allow them to keep their shape. If such meat is unavailable or has insufficient fat content, you can use half-smoked bacon. It will add fat and an unusual taste.
  6. Apply different techniques preparations. Stew, boil, bake, combine. This approach will allow you to diversify even the most boring and boring recipe.
  7. Try to cut the vegetables and other ingredients mixed into the minced meat as finely as possible. This will protect the dish from falling apart.
  8. There is no need to painstakingly cut cabbage or carrots. It is enough to grate them on a coarse grater and then send them into minced meat. This trick will also work with onions, which in large form are not particularly welcome in such dishes.
  9. When preparing a sauce or filling, do not be afraid to use semi-finished products and ready-made, store-bought sauces.
  10. Use a vegetable bed when using a frying pan or thin-walled saucepan. Let the vegetables burn better than the cabbage rolls. Use carrot slices, onions or cabbage leaves as bedding.

Recipe for lazy cabbage rolls with cabbage and minced meat in a frying pan

It’s not for nothing that a frying pan is called the most universal item in the kitchen. It will allow you to create a golden brown crust and subsequently simmer any dish. Just add water, as they say.

Option one – Stuffed cabbage rolls in a frying pan with sour cream sauce

Ingredients:

  • Chopped pork – 0.5 kg
  • Used cabbage – 0.35 kg
  • Boiled rice – 150 g
  • R-th onion – 70 g
  • Chicken egg - one piece.
  • Sour cream 20% – 100 ml
  • Tomato paste – 50 ml
  • Oil r-e – 50 ml
  • Breadcrumbs – 200 gr
  • Salt, spices as desired

Finely chop the cabbage, place it in a deep bowl and pour boiling water over it. After 5-7 minutes, drain it in a colander. Set aside a couple of large sheets for a “pillow”.

Stir cooled cabbage into pork and combine with it boiled rice, egg and spices. Using a grater, grate a medium onion into minced meat.

Stir the minced meat to “squeeze” the air out of it. Form the cabbage rolls into oblong cutlets or meatballs.

Heat a frying pan, place cabbage rolls on it and fry until golden brown. Remove them from the pan, reduce the heat and add cabbage leaves.

After adding a little water, return the cabbage rolls to the heat, covering with a lid. After 15 minutes of simmering, add the sauce from a mixture of tomato paste, sour cream and spices. Turn the heat to low and cook for another 12-15 minutes.

Option two - Lazy cabbage rolls with white sauce

Ingredients:

  • Chopped beef and pork 1/1 – 0.45 kg each
  • Used cabbage – 0.8 kg
  • Boiled rice – 0.3 kg
  • Chicken egg - one piece.
  • Onions – 130 gr
  • Full-fat milk – one and a half glasses
  • C oil – 40 g
  • Carrots – 60 gr
  • R-e oil – 50 ml
  • Breadcrumbs – 250 grams
  • Spices, salt as desired

To speed up the process, pass the meat, cabbage and one onion in a meat grinder. Add the egg and spices to the resulting mixture. Mix the minced meat thoroughly, divide into equal portions and form cabbage rolls. Don't forget to bread them in breadcrumbs.

For the sauce, you need to make a “wet” flour sauté with butter. Melt the butter in a dry frying pan and add flour little by little, stirring constantly. Do not allow the flour to form lumps or burn. It should take on a light creamy tint.

Pour milk into the sauteed flour, heat it and add chopped onions and carrots. Boil the sauce until slightly thick.

Place the cabbage rolls on a bed of cabbage leaves. Pour sauce over everything on top. Stew the cabbage rolls according to this recipe for twenty minutes. If necessary, dilute the sauce with milk. However, with medium heat, there should be no problem with it thickening too much.

Serve the finished cabbage rolls of both the first and second versions as an independent dish, with a light vegetable garnish.

Amazing recipe, I'm really, really sorry I missed it for so long! I was too lazy to cut the cabbage, I chopped it in a blender, it turned out so finely that I didn’t pour boiling water over it, fortunately it was fresh. I used brown, unpolished rice. The recipe is wonderful. The whole family liked the cabbage rolls. Only they turned out a little sweet for me. Maybe it's because of the carrots?

Answer: Yes, it's possible. Carrots can impart a sweetish taste. And also in tomato sauce Some manufacturers add sugar. So this could also be the reason for this effect.

Thanks for the recipe! My husband, in principle, did not recognize lazy cabbage rolls, but he ate these and praised them. I just scalded the cabbage before mixing so that it would stew better.

We suggest preparing lazy ones. The composition of the dish is almost the same as in the traditional version, but the cooking method is much easier. In this case, the minced meat is not wrapped in cabbage leaves, but is immediately mixed with boiled shredded cabbage and other ingredients. From the resulting mass, cutlets are formed, which are baked in tomato-sour cream sauce. The dish turns out aromatic, juicy and in no way inferior to its classic counterpart.

Lazy cabbage rolls in the oven have another significant advantage over traditional ones. The fact is that many children do not like stewed cabbage leaves - they open them and eat only the meat filling. There is no need to unwrap anything here - the cabbage is cut into small pieces and it is almost invisible in the cutlets, which completely satisfies the “little whims”.

Ingredients:

  • minced meat (pork + beef) - 500 g;
  • rice - 60 g;
  • cabbage - 400 g;
  • onion - 1 head;
  • dill - 3-4 sprigs;
  • salt, pepper - to taste;
  • flour (for breading) - 4-5 tbsp. spoon;
  • vegetable oil - 30-50 ml.

For the sauce:

  • sour cream - 200 g;
  • tomato paste - 5 tbsp. spoon;
  • salt - to taste.

Lazy cabbage rolls recipe with photos step by step at home

  3. Shred the cabbage into strips or cut into small square pieces.
  4. Place the slices into boiling water. Cook over medium heat until softened. Cooking time varies greatly depending on the age and juiciness of the cabbage, so The best way determine readiness - try a piece for softness.
