When installing various elements, additional construction equipment may be required.

Facade stucco molding made of polyurethane and polystyrene foam are the easiest to install, so it makes sense to consider the whole process using their example.

First of all, before the main installation of finishing elements, preparatory work should be carried out:

• the old finish is removed down to the layer of plaster. The latter must hold tight;
• The strength of the plaster is checked by tapping. Suspicious areas are removed and replaced with a new layer of plaster;
• the surface is expected to dry after the previous stage, then the wall and stucco molding are cleaned of dust;
• You should proceed directly to installation only when the temperature is above 5 degrees Celsius and there is no precipitation.

Basically, special glue is used for fastening

After preparatory stage, you can proceed directly to installation work:

1. Installation facade stucco molding begins with marking the walls or the products themselves.
2. A layer of glue is applied to the stucco molding, and then the element is pressed against the surface to be finished.
3. Excess glue is removed.
4. Additional reliability of fastenings can be ensured using anchors or self-tapping screws.
5. The holes for fasteners are disguised to match the color of the stucco molding.

• the structure is coated with a primer to protect it from various influences external environment. The primer is selected depending on the type of stucco;
• A layer of paint is applied over the primer.
