Treatment with dandelion jam

To prepare a sweet medicine from a dandelion, you need two hundred flowers without a stem. They need to be collected away from highways, preferably, in general - outside the city. Dandelion flowers must be cut into small pieces and add lemon, crushed in a meat grinder, along with juice. After that, a liter of water is added to the plant material. The original recipe uses well water, but well-purified or filtered water can also be used. Mix everything well and leave for at least 6 hours in the refrigerator. After a specified period, one kilogram of sugar is added to the pan. Cook a mixture of dandelion, lemon, water and sugar over low heat for 2 hours, stirring regularly. At the end, the mixture can be filtered through a sieve, then at the exit you will get a thick jam, reminiscent of honey in color and smell.

The result is a sweet medicine with a honey taste. For treatment, add 1-1.5 tablespoons of dandelion jam to warm tea or eat it just like that. Take at least 5 times a day.

For maximum effect, vegetable juices from cabbage and beets can be added to this treatment method. On the first day, you need to drink a glass of cabbage juice. On the second day, you need to drink a glass of beetroot juice. It is easiest to cook it on a juicer, but do not drink immediately after cooking, but let it brew for 5 hours.

The method of treatment in which oats are used is a fairly popular remedy. For him, you need to prepare a special decoction. To do this, measure whole oats (3 tablespoons) and rinse thoroughly under running water. For cooking, you will need a large enameled pan (at least 5 liters in volume). Washed oats, 3 tablespoons of birch buds, 2 tablespoons of lingonberry leaf are added to it. After that, the plant components are poured with four liters of cold water. Then the pan is left in the refrigerator for a day. It is also necessary to prepare a decoction of wild rose. To do this, you need one tablespoon of chopped fruit and one liter of water. Rosehip is added to boiling water and boiled for ten minutes. After cooling, the broth must also be placed in the refrigerator for 24 hours.

After the specified time, put the pan with oats on the fire and boil for 15 minutes. Then two more components are added: corn stigmas (2 tablespoons) and knotweed (3 tablespoons). Continue the boiling process for another 15 minutes, then remove the broth from the stove and let it brew for 40 minutes.

Both decoctions are filtered through gauze and mixed. You can store the resulting liquid for no more than five days in the refrigerator.

You need to drink such an infusion 4 times a day, 150 grams, half an hour before meals, preheating it to room temperature. The recommended course of treatment in which oats are used is 10 days. This recipe is also recommended for gastritis.

In order to defeat liver disease, you can use not only oats, but also its straw. To do this, pour a handful of straw with a liter of boiling water and insist for an hour under the lid. You need to drink this drug daily in a volume of two liters. This method has no side effects.

For additional help to the body, you can use baths in which oats are added. For this purpose, straw is used, which must be boiled in water. For two handfuls you will need three liters of water. Straw broth should be poured into the bath. The duration of bathing should be 15-20 minutes.

Recipe for the liver, activating the immune system

The prescription for the medicine is quite simple. To prepare the mixture, you will need three small heads of garlic, a glass of olive oil, 4 lemons and a liter of honey.

Celandine juice

In order to stop the destruction of liver tissues and treat cirrhosis, pure celandine juice is used. You need to start taking it one drop at a time, gradually bringing the volume to a teaspoon. You can drink celandine juice until you get a positive effect.

Herbs to treat cirrhosis

  • Mix equal parts of dry chicory, horsetail, yarrow and St. John's wort, pour a tablespoon of the collection with a glass of boiling water and insist. Drink per day in 2-3 doses.

Liver cirrhosis goes through stages, on the basis of which it is selected which disability group is issued. Each of them negatively affects the patient's life, limits the normal functioning in society. They also attach importance to the degree of activity of liver cirrhosis, the degree of liver failure.

  • stage of compensation. At this stage, the patient's condition does not deteriorate significantly, the weight remains stable, the activity of cirrhosis, liver failure in the II degree. Such patients are assigned to group III. They are recommended to work at work that does not force long walking and heavy physical exertion, does not force them to stay in one position for a long time, and does not lead to significant hypodynamia. If the production is associated with toxic substances that are tropic to the liver tissues, the patient will have to change jobs. It is recommended to continue maintenance therapy, diet, complete abstinence from alcohol, exercise therapy.

With an undeveloped form of cirrhosis (group 1), disability is not assigned.

  • subcompensation stage. The clinical picture is brighter: deterioration in general well-being, weakness, dizziness, weight loss up to 30%, skin itching, yellowing of the skin, sclera, nosebleeds, constant heaviness in the right hypochondrium, pain; III degree of liver failure and II degree of activity of the underlying disease, anemia. Group II is most often awarded to such patients. It provides for complete disability, but assumes that the patient can serve himself and does not need additional social assistance (for example, nurses). Treatment of the underlying disease and monitoring of the patient's condition continues.
  • stage of decompensation. The state of health of such patients deteriorates significantly. To the above symptoms, there is a decrease in body weight by 50% or more, ascites (fluid in the abdominal cavity), bad breath (in medicine it is characterized as hepatic), portal hypertension, liver failure III degree, activity of the underlying disease III degree. Such patients cannot return to their usual way of life and have group I. Even partial employment is prohibited for them, the state provides additional social assistance.

When the activity of the underlying disease and liver failure have reached only I degree, disability is not issued.

In addition to the above parameters, doctors look at the dynamics of laboratory parameters, including bilirubin and albumin. Their level in blood serum is taken into account in order to determine the prognosis of the disease and choose the correct therapy.

In chronic viral hepatitis, cirrhosis of the liver is one of the stages of the disease and is also an indication for the appointment of disability, however, the range of examinations and therapy differ from cirrhosis of another etiology. Such patients, regardless of the stage of the disease, are contraindicated to work with chlorinated hydrocarbons and naphthalene, salts of heavy metals, benzene and its homologues, with high and low temperatures. It is unacceptable to work when exposed to vibration, driving is prohibited.

As you know, nutrition has a great influence on human health. For each specific disease, in addition to the general rules, there are some nuances that affect the organization of proper nutrition. Acute hepatitis

A NECESSARY condition for proper nutrition in acute hepatitis is frequent, 5-6 times a day, meals in small portions. Eat only foods that are easily digested by the liver: vegetables, fruits, dried fruits, nuts, seeds, soy, cereals (mainly oatmeal) without sugar and without milk. Some well emulsifiable animal fats are allowed, which include butter, cream, sour cream, unrefined vegetable oils (olive is best).

In acute hepatitis, it is necessary to consume foods containing many vitamins (especially B vitamins), as well as macro- and microelements (especially manganese, copper, magnesium and zinc). The easiest way to get vitamins is from vegetables and fruits, as well as from honey and pollen, since they contain almost the entire periodic table. Also useful are products that mobilize liver fat: cottage cheese, cod, soaked herring. Alcohol, strong coffee, vinegar, pepper, mustard, pickles (tart and spicy taste negatively affects the liver, inhibiting its function), fried foods, legumes, mushrooms, as well as vegetables and herbs rich in essential oils (turnip, radish, sorrel, spinach, onion, garlic). These recommendations should be taken into account in exacerbation of chronic hepatitis.

In the first two days after the onset of the disease or exacerbation of chronic hepatitis, one must refuse all food and consume only liquid: weak green tea with honey, sweet fruit and berry juices diluted with an equal volume of water, rosehip broth, mineral water. 1-2 days after the disappearance of acute pain, you can eat small portions of mashed food (mashed fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs), liquid cereals in water without sugar, kissels, jelly, mousses, juices. Starting from the 5th day, low-fat grated cottage cheese, low-fat boiled fish, a little butter (no more than 30 g) and vegetable (no more than 15 g) oil can be included in the diet.

After the 7th day, the recovery period begins and you can move on to a complete set of products. Allowed fruit and vegetable juices, fresh fruits and vegetables, dried or dried wheat or rye bread, crackers, vegetarian soups, omelettes, boiled chicken or rabbit.

Be sure to drink plenty of fluids. During this period, on average, the body needs 2-2.5 liters of fluid per day. Of this volume, approximately 1.5 liters are actually liquid (water and juices), and the body will receive the remaining 0.5-1 liter of fluid from soups and other products (in particular, from fruits and vegetables).

It is important to emphasize that acidic foods stimulate the liver and gallbladder. Therefore, to improve the liver, it is necessary to include in the diet foods with a naturally sour taste, such as sour Antonov apples, gooseberries, red currants, and cranberries.

Lemon juice has a very good healing effect. You need to drink it daily every 2 hours for 2 tbsp. spoons. Watermelon contains a lot of easily digestible sucrose, fructose, other sugars and water. It also contains a lot of manganese and folic acid, necessary for the regulation of biochemical processes in the body. It is noteworthy that folic acid is also found in other products, but when they are cooked, it is destroyed. With raw watermelon, folic acid is delivered to the body in sufficient quantities.

An indispensable product for acute hepatitis is beets. They can be used to make vinaigrettes and salads. It is advisable to eat 100-150 g of fresh beets daily on an empty stomach. Well restores the functions of the liver and pumpkin. It is recommended to consume 0.5 kg of pumpkin per day in any form - both boiled and raw. Sweet varieties of apples should also be included in the daily diet.

IN CHRONIC hepatitis, all the requirements set out in the general recommendations for nutrition in acute hepatitis must be observed. The diet is required mainly fruit and vegetable, rich in vitamins, carbohydrates, microelements. All food should be steamed or baked, preferably pureed. Lipotropic (mobilizing liver fat) products are required: low-fat cottage cheese, cod, oatmeal (it is rich in microelements necessary for the liver), soaked herring. Low-fat fish (cod, pike perch, pike, carp, navaga) is acceptable in small quantities.

From fats, you can use olive or other vegetable oils, mainly adding them to salads and vinaigrettes, as well as butter. The consumption rate of both butter and vegetable oils is about 30 g per day. It is very important to put oil only in already prepared dishes. Bread is better stale or crackers. Fruit and vegetable juices restore liver function. They are especially needed by the elderly. Just keep in mind that the juices must be freshly prepared.

To ensure intestinal motility, foods containing a sufficient amount of fiber are needed. This means that you need to eat a lot of fruits and vegetables in the form of salads. Beets, carrots, pumpkins, zucchini, apples, grapes, prunes, watermelons and melons are especially good.

Beets should be noted especially, as they contain betaine, which regulates metabolism, promotes protein absorption and improves liver function. In addition, beets also contain saponins that bind cholesterol in the intestines and turn it into a complex that is difficult to digest, which is excreted from the intestines with feces. Beets stimulate peristalsis and prevent constipation. In addition to beets, peristalsis is also stimulated by honey and mineral water "Essentuki 4" and "Slavyanovskaya".

For patients with chronic hepatitis, as well as for other hepatic patients, vitamins of groups B, C, PP and K are especially important. All the necessary vitamins can be obtained from honey, pollen, decoctions of rose hips, juices of fruits and berries, as well as from raw fruits, berries , tomatoes and carrots. Micro and macro elements are very important, especially manganese, copper, zinc and magnesium.

Magnesium stimulates bile secretion. There is a lot of it in potatoes, carrots, cherries, sweet cherries, plums, rose hips.

Manganese participates in the synthesis of carbohydrates and cholesterol. A lot of manganese is found in buckwheat, millet, rice porridge, bran, green vegetables and tea, and from fruits - in watermelons, oranges and apricots.

Copper has a direct relationship with immunity. In combination with vitamin C, copper reduces the activity of viruses, so it is especially important in hepatitis. There is a lot of copper in soy and hard cheeses. There is it in vegetables (especially in green salad), in fruits (especially in apricots, in black and red currants), in walnuts.

Zinc is part of a large number of enzymes involved in metabolism, especially in carbohydrate. Most of all it is in cocoa and pine nuts. There is a lot of zinc in bran and germinated wheat, in cereals (especially oatmeal, buckwheat and millet), from vegetables - in beets, cabbage, carrots, lettuce, cucumbers.

In chronic hepatitis are prohibited:

  • any alcoholic drinks;
  • smoked meats, spices, spicy seasonings;
  • fresh bakery products and pastry products (cakes, pancakes, pies);
  • soups on meat, fish, chicken broths and mushroom broths;
  • fatty meats and fish;
  • mushrooms;

    canned food, spices (mustard, pepper, cloves), vinegar;

  • refractory and cholesterol-rich fats (egg yolks, brain, liver, heart, kidneys and fish oil);
  • cold and very cold dishes (ice cream) and cold drinks.

Let me remind you that fats should be put only in ready meals. Especially harmful and simply dangerous are dishes fried in oil - vegetables, fish, meat, flour products (pancakes, for example). These dishes destroy liver tissue due to toxic products formed from the oil during the frying process. In addition, when frying from fats, in addition to toxins, carcinogens that are no less harmful to the body are also formed.

In chronic hepatitis in the period between exacerbations, it is recommended to carry out 4 types of fasting days: apple, vegetable, cottage cheese and sour milk. On apple day, only raw apples should be eaten (a total of 1.5 kg of raw apples per day). In the vegetable - only raw vegetables (a total of 1.5-2 kg of raw vegetables per day), while some of the vegetables can be replaced with raw fruits and berries.

On a cottage cheese day, only cottage cheese should be on the menu (daily norm is 500 g), while cottage cheese can be consumed in the form of pudding or cheesecakes. In addition to cottage cheese, you can drink tea and mineral water on the cottage cheese day. On a yogurt day, you need to drink 1 glass of yogurt 6 times a day.

In addition to fasting days for chronic hepatitis, it is recommended to arrange short (from 1 to 3 days) juice fasts, repeating them at intervals of 1-2 months.

Lemon juice with baking soda cures chronic hepatitis B. In chronic hepatitis, it is useful to drink juice in the morning on an empty stomach, squeezed from one lemon and mixed with 1 teaspoon of baking soda. With regular performance of this procedure, you can get rid of hepatitis B. From vegetable juices, beetroot, carrot and cabbage are the most effective.

Jaundice

JAUNDICE is not an independent disease, but a group of symptoms that occur in various liver diseases as a result of the fact that bile cannot leave the liver, lingers in it and enters the bloodstream instead of the intestines and stains the skin. The condition of the bile ducts, either a gallstone or a tumor that clogs the bile ducts, can interfere with the flow of bile.

During an acute attack it is useful to fast for 4-7 days (or more), depending on the condition. During fasting, you can only drink water and orange juice. After the disappearance of acute symptoms for 3-5 days, a full fruit diet is applied, then all fats are excluded from the diet for 2 weeks, after which butter or olive oil can be consumed in very small quantities.

During a full fruit diet, you can not eat both overripe and unripe fruits, as well as dry, stewed or canned fruits. You need to drink cold or hot unsweetened water, in which you can add lemon. Exhausted people are allowed to supplement each meal with 0.5 cups of curdled milk or kefir.

If there are no fruits, they can be replaced with grated carrots or rutabaga, salads from any fresh vegetables. If there are no leafy salads, you can make salads from any cabbage (except cauliflower), carrots, turnips. In extreme cases, you can eat heavily soaked dried fruits with honey.

For jaundice, fresh unsalted cabbage juice (if it does not cause gas) and sauerkraut juice are very effective. The latter should be consumed in 0.5-1 tbsp. spoons 3 times a day 20 minutes before meals daily for 1.5-2 months (it is especially good to alternate it with beetroot juice).

Cirrhosis of the liver

NUTRITION for cirrhosis of the liver is similar to nutrition for chronic hepatitis, but the restrictions for cirrhosis are even more stringent. It is especially important to limit the consumption of vegetables rich in oxalic acid and essential oils. Forbidden vegetables include spinach, sorrel, onions, garlic and radishes.

In some cases, with cirrhosis of the liver, hypersensitivity to the protein appears. Then it is necessary to limit protein intake and select foods that the patient tolerates better. Otherwise, brain damage may occur, which will be manifested by symptoms such as drowsiness and loss of ability to concentrate.

As cirrhosis develops, it is necessary to limit the daily intake of protein, bringing it to 30-40 g per day. Moreover, it is better that vegetable protein prevails. This is where soy and products containing it come to the rescue. Soy has a lot of protein. However, we must remember that the liver also needs proteins containing methionine, choline and cysteine. These are the proteins of cottage cheese and other lipotropic (mobilizing liver fat) products. They have already been mentioned more than once. These are oatmeal, cod and soaked herring. These products prevent and treat fatty liver disease.

There is cirrhosis with a tendency to ascites. In these cases, the main thing is to limit salt intake. Moreover, it should be borne in mind that many products already contain salt (bread, mineral water, canned food). A diet low in salt will prevent ascites. Patients who have already developed ascites should almost completely abandon salt and consume no more than 1 g per day, replacing salt with other seasonings.

A cirrhotic liver loses its ability to excrete excess salt used. Salt remaining in the body retains water, resulting in ascites and fluid accumulation in the chest. This leads to difficulty breathing, the development of edema of the legs and feet. To remove edema, watermelons, grapes, black currants and mountain ash with a diuretic effect are recommended.

With cirrhosis, fruit and vegetable juices are indicated. Grapefruit juice and olive oil are especially useful: at one time you need to drink a quarter cup of both in 20 minutes. before meals. Previously, at least 2 hours before meals, as well as the next day in the morning, you need to do an enema. Repeat the procedure after 4-5 days. A good effect on cirrhosis is also given by sauerkraut juice, which should be drunk in 0.5-1 tbsp. spoon 3 times a day 20 minutes before meals daily for 1.5-2 months (it is especially useful to alternate it with beetroot juice).

For pain in the liver resulting from stagnation, it is recommended to drink apricot or peach juice one day, the other - sweet tea with honey. It relieves pain very quickly. Helps in this case and carrots. As an anesthetic, hot mashed potatoes boiled in the husk are used: it must be applied to the right hypochondrium.

A complete fruit diet for jaundice is that only fruits are allowed during this period. You can’t even eat a small piece of bread, as this will completely lose the effect of the diet. All day you need to eat only fresh apples, pears, grapefruits, oranges, pineapples, melons or any other juicy fruits. Quince fruits or quince decoction are especially effective for jaundice.

With cholecystitis, be sure to include beets in the menu in the form of vinaigrettes and salads, and also eat 100-150 g of fresh beets daily on an empty stomach. In any form (boiled or raw), pumpkin is useful (it must be eaten at least 0.5 kg per day). Eat at least 2-3 sweet varieties of apples daily. With cholecystitis, you need to eat watermelons, as well as drink aloe juice (1 teaspoon 2-3 times a day 30 minutes before meals for 1-2 months) and lemon juice (daily 2 tablespoons every 2 hours) .

  1. Stir white flour in mother's milk, take in the morning and evening before meals, a tablespoon each.
  2. Buckthorn bark, cumin fruits, curly wolf herb, St.
  3. Chicory bark, horsetail grass, yarrow grass, St. John's wort - all kinds of 20 g each. Prepare and take as No. 2. Drink with liver cirrhosis
  4. Rose hips, couch grass rhizome - 40 g each, nettle leaves - 20 g. Prepare an infusion from one tablespoon of the mixture in a glass of boiling water, drink 2-3 times a day. If it is not possible to collect all the plants, you can use one or two of them.
  5. With cirrhosis of the liver, the juice of sauerkraut prepared in the usual way, only without salt, helps well. (Take 1 glass, alternating with beetroot juice).
  6. 5-6 crushed horseradish leaves, together with the root, insist on one bottle of vodka for a week, and then take 1 tablespoon 3 times a day before meals.
  7. Take 0.35 g "mumiyo" in the morning on an empty stomach, 0.2 g in the evening. Drink 10 days, break 5 days, repeat up to 10 courses.
  8. Potentilla goose grass (1 tablespoon), celandine grass (1 tablespoon), peppermint leaves (1 tablespoon) in a glass of water. Infusion take 1/2 cup a day.
  9. Immortelle (1 tablespoon per 1 glass of water). Take 30 minutes before meals according to the following scheme: 1st day - 1/3 cup, 2nd - 1/3 cup 2 times, 3rd - 1/3 cup 3 times, 4th - 1 /2 cup 3 times, 5th - 1/2 cup 3 times and 6th day - 1/2 cup 1 time.

  14. St. John's wort oil 20 g of flowers (fresh) pour 200 ml of olive oil and infuse for 40 days. Take 1-2 teaspoons 30 minutes before meals 2-3 times a day.
  15. It is considered very harmful for the liver to take one type of food immediately after another. It is harmful to drink cold water on an empty stomach and in one gulp, as well as after a bath.
  16. On the contrary, all those substances in which there is bitterness are useful for the liver, as well as various fragrant substances, for example, Chinese cinnamon, fragrant rush inflorescences, saffron, raisins, dandelion, garden chicory. Dried chicory and dandelion with honey are very good for cirrhosis of the liver.
  17. With cirrhosis of the liver, Bulgarian healers recommend drinking barley water with chicory to the patient. In general, chicory can be added to all medicines for this disorder. Sometimes boiled chicory is eaten with fresh coriander or simply with vinegar.
  18. In this case, barberry also has excellent healing properties, which Vanga recommended mixing in equal amounts with celery.
  19. Take 30 g of squeezed chicory juice, squeezed juice of bubble cherry and squeezed juice of nightshade, 75 g of squeezed juice of fresh coriander and squeezed fennel juice. Add 1.5 g of saffron to this mixture and let the patient drink.
  20. Squeezed juice of baked pumpkin with pomegranate juice, whey of cow's milk, juice of apple, pear, garden purslane and squeezed juice of fresh rose gives a good effect.

From food, in addition to the above substances, the patient is recommended boiled beets, hawthorn fruits, quince, pears, sweet and sour pomegranates, mulberries, rhubarb, not too sweet melon, not sweet watermelon, sweet and sour grapes, snail meat, spinach. Boiled small fish with vinegar, goat meat, stomachs of water birds are useful. Everything fried and fatty should be avoided.
  24. Take quince, barley flour, wax, calf's bone marrow, rose oil, bitter wormwood, cloves. This composition is used in the form of a patch.
  25. Sometimes sweet and sour foods with astringent properties, such as pomegranate seeds, are useful.
  26. Take three parts of the washed resin, rhubarb root, five parts of the squeezed briar juice, fennel seeds, quinoa seeds, six parts of bitter wormwood, ten parts of chicory seeds, eight parts of dodder seeds and four parts of celery seeds. Prepare a powder from these substances, which is given to the patient in several doses.
  27. Take about 75 g of raisins, 4 g of saffron, 8 g of sweet cane, 4 g of Chinese cinnamon, 65 g of honey and a sufficient amount of wine.
  28. For any pain in the liver, rhubarb cakes in various prescriptions, laxative porridge from rue, porridge from wild cumin help well.
  29. The patient is also benefited by a medicine prepared from 60 g of squeezed juice of fresh pine leaves or a decoction of pine with rhubarb.
  30. We can recommend, in addition, a medicine prepared from nightshade juice, barley water, plantain juice, bladder cherry juice, fresh coriander juice, pumpkin, dodder juice. To all these juices, bitter wormwood can be mixed.
  31. In this case, such a medicine will be useful: take 30 g of barberry pulp, 15 g of rose, 9 g of the core of pumpkin seeds, garden purslane seeds or chicory seeds, 3 g of fennel seeds. All this is mixed and given to the patient for a reception of about 8 g.
  32. At the beginning of the disease, you can use the squeezed juice of beet leaves with honey and salt or with red sugar for enemas.
  33. The best medicinal dressing is a dressing made from quince that has been boiled with vinegar and then a little rose oil has been added. Quince works similarly, which was boiled with fragrant wine, and then bitter wormwood, barley oatmeal. In addition, quince with bitter wormwood gives a good effect.
