Luminaires of this kind are gradually beginning to be in great demand. But the trend towards a decrease in their value has not yet been observed. Component parts of the product

Before proceeding with the repair of a chandelier with a control panel with your own hands, you should find out what you will have to deal with. Unlike standard lighting devices, the design of this device is more complex and includes the following:

1. LED part.

The most vulnerable point related to this part of the product is the ballast capacitor. It is used to reduce the voltage supplied from the network to a mark acceptable for lamps of this kind. The lamps themselves are in second place in terms of vulnerability.

2. Halogen part.

Most often, an electronic transformer fails in this part. It is used to properly power the lamps themselves, which are designed for the same voltage and power, but are connected to a standard network with higher rates. The next most frequent breakdowns are the lamps themselves.

3. Radio control relay.

This part consists of several electromagnetic relays (2 or more). It is this component that is responsible for the distribution of voltage between the first two parts and has an element that receives a signal from the remote control. The weakest point is soldering. Elements soldered to the PCB are simply detached over time.

4. Remote control (turns the product on and off at a distance).

Two transistors and an encoder are soldered to the board. They are the most vulnerable areas (they can be disconnected if they fall). But in the first place in terms of breakdowns are ordinary batteries.

The main types of product breakdowns

The decision to repair a chandelier with a control panel with your own hands, of course, does not come suddenly. It is preceded by the identification of a certain kind of breakdown in the product. Consider the most common malfunctions:

1. The LED backlight does not light up (neither when you try to turn it on through the remote control, nor through the wall switch).

2. One or all of the halogen lamps do not light up (just as when trying to use one of the two methods of switching on).

3. Lamps of both types do not react to the signal supplied by the remote control (they can only be switched on via the wall switch).

4. The product does not turn on at all when you try to use one or another method of turning on.
