So, it is simply impossible to give uniform recommendations for all occasions: we offer options, and you decide whether it suits you or not. You can also turn to a professional designer for help, if, of course, you are not afraid that the cost of repairs will increase significantly.
    • If you are not building a house yourself, but, for example, buying a cottage with rough finishing, the developer can offer you a choice, and, of course, for an additional fee, of a design project for interior decoration. If you like the concept, but want to change some details, or change color scheme, this can be done by agreement. As they say: “Every whim...”.
    • Of course, projects of houses with five bedrooms, one way or another, require the participation of a designer, because it is quite difficult to beautifully decorate and comfortably furnish such a huge house on your own. If a person has the funds for such housing, then there will be money for its design. Our tips are for those who do not have such a budget, trying to do everything themselves.
    • If the walls of the house need insulation, then you should choose those types of finishing materials that are mounted on a frame, in the cells of which insulation can be placed. In this case, the walls can be sheathed with plasterboard, choosing a beautiful option finishing. And options, thanks to the huge range of wallpapers and colors for water-dispersion paints, a great many.
    • The main thing is to choose and combine shades correctly and not make the interior monotonous. To do this, one wall, or its individual sections, can be highlighted with a contrasting color, pattern, or interior sticker. In principle, this can be done using any finishing materials, many of which are also mounted on the sheathing - this various panels, board, laminate.
    • All of them are used only to create an accent, as well as facing materials, mounted with glue. These include all types of roll coverings, panels made of gypsum and bamboo with a 3D effect, natural and decorative rock, ceramic tile and various brick imitations - even tension PVC film.
    • Now there are so many new products, beautiful modern finishing materials that it is sometimes very difficult to make a choice. Let's say you like simplicity, minimalism, spartan furnishings. Panels will come to the rescue, but not the classic ones made of solid wood, mounted at the bottom of the walls, but smooth ones, with a pronounced wood texture.
    • Most often, it is MDF covered with wood veneer, or a wood-polymer composite. You can decorate a wall to the ceiling with such panels, but only one - if you don’t want your bedroom to look like an office. To prevent this from happening, the configurations of the cladding, its texture and colors must be combined, as was done in the example we gave.
    • Wall decoration can be done very modestly and discreetly to emphasize, for example, the beauty ceiling structure or luxurious flooring. This means that the emphasis does not have to be on the wall. And if the floor is often covered with carpet, then the ceiling is always visible.
    • And here there are a great many options: plasterboard and stretched fabric, wood and glass, gypsum panels and stucco, various combinations of ceiling finishing materials.     • It also has practical significance: it divides the living-dining room into zones. Of course it is design work, and such a ceiling will not be cheap. But in at least one room intended for receiving guests, the ceiling should amaze the imagination. For other rooms, you can choose more modest options.

    Don't forget about accessories: beautiful curtains, wall panels, paintings or photographs on the wall in original frames can enliven and decorate any room - even without the use of expensive materials.
