For more than sixty years, it has separated us from the Second World War, and its causes, course and consequences continue to attract public attention, arouse the interest of historians, publicists and journalists. All over the world, scientific conferences are held, publications, articles, monographic studies devoted to this topic appear, collections of documents are published that allow shedding new light on the events of the war and assessing them in a new way.

Those distant events are haunted by politicians. Immediately after the end of the war, the allied coalition formed during the war disintegrated, the former allies became enemies, a new round of imperialism began, the so-called "cold war", and with it began the policy of reassessing the causes, events and results of the war. It is worth noting that one of the reasons for the collapse is the paradox of the coalition itself. Each power had its own political interests, sometimes diametrically opposed to the interests of its allies, and disagreements and contradictions in ideologies and state systems often lead to enmity. It's no secret that by the 20th century, the contradictions between the British and Russian empires had existed for several centuries. The bone of contention, as always, was power, authority and zones of influence in the richest regions of the Middle East. By 1939, a joint military plan of France and Britain to fight the Soviet Union was ready. Japan has views of the Soviet Far East. Germany longs for "expanding living space to the East." It is characteristic that a state occupying most of Eurasia, having all possible natural resources, no matter what it is called, no matter what system it has, be it the Russian Empire, the Soviet Union or the Russian Federation, will always arouse an aggressive interest in the most developed countries of the world. And the Second World War, as the largest and bloody armed conflict in the entire history of mankind, its causes, events and results have always been and will be the reasons for different interpretations, considerations and redistributions.

With the collapse of the Soviet Union, the policy of rethinking the Second World War unfolded with renewed vigor. The events taking place in the Baltics are indicative:

Currently, about 200 thousand Russian residents of Estonia are so-called "non-citizens", 30 thousand are in the position of illegal immigrants. All these people are by no means guest workers. Until 1991, when the USSR collapsed, they lived in Estonia as full citizens. But they were stripped of their citizenship in 1992 by the Estonian government.

On October 15, 2005, a monument to the soldiers of the 20th Estonian SS Division was unveiled in the village of Lagedi near Tallinn. On April 30, 2007, the “Monument to the Soldier-Liberator of Tallinn from the Nazi Invaders” was moved from the center of Tallinn in Estonia.

The situation of Russians in Latvia is even worse. At the time of gaining independence, more than 900 thousand Russians and more than 1 million 122 thousand Russian-speakers lived in Latvia (this is 34% of the country's population). Since the beginning of the naturalization process in 1995, only about 60,000 non-Latvians have received citizenship. In all spheres of life, Russians in Latvia face severe legal restrictions.

It should be noted that these and many other actions of the Baltic politicians are actively supported by the United States and the European Union.

It is characteristic that such flagrant violations of international law, the Helsinki accords, namely the declaration of principles by which the participating states will be guided in mutual relations (chapter I, section I, article VII "Respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms"), the Potsdam agreements on the eradication of Nazism, mockery over the memory of the victims of fascism, which is a direct challenge to the decisions of the Nuremberg Tribunal, which recognized the criminal activities of the SS, as well as other manifestations of the policy of revising the results of World War II, such as belittling the role of the Soviet Union in the war and in some cases even outright slander, discrimination, and repression towards the Russian-speaking population and veterans of the Red Army, the overestimation of the role of the allies in achieving victory, the revision of other chapters of the final act of the Helsinki agreements, as well as the open encouragement of pro-fascist and pro-nationalist groups and government actions, take place not only in the policy pursued in Pr and the Baltics.

For example, the foreign policy of the United States of America since the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 is like two drops of water similar to the aggressive policy of Nazi Germany in 1931-1941. Then Germany, having staged a provocation on the German-Polish border, first seized Western Poland, and then other European states up to France. The United States, on the other hand, is behaving almost identically: since September 11, 2001, it has been invading and capturing Afghanistan under the pretext of fighting terrorism; then the invasion and seizure of Iraq occurs with the aim of supposedly stopping the development of weapons of mass destruction; then, an armed action against Iran was almost launched, under the pretext that Iran was allegedly developing its own nuclear weapons.

Examples are endless. Summing up, we can conclude that regardless of the side on which a particular state took part in the war, almost each of these states will benefit from applying the policy of rethinking the results of World War II in relation to Russia. It should be recalled that the state occupying the geographical position of the Russian Federation, by definition, is an object of intense aggressive interest of developed and developing countries. Not for nothing, Alexander III the Peacemaker said: "Russia has only two allies: the army and the navy."

As you know, the Second World War began on September 1, 1939 (as modern history teaches) with the German invasion of Poland. And before that, the West donated Austria, the Sudetenland to Germany, and then the whole Czech Republic, thinking that this would somehow calm her down. It was foolish to think so when Germany's ambitions were at least for a worthy place in world domination, and Hitler himself directly declared a new living space for Germany in the east. Before the war, Poland had an advantage in manpower: 3.5 mil of Poles, against, 1.8 mil of Germans. Poland counted on the support of Western countries and actively negotiated with France, England, Romania. Those. could have won with support, or prolonged the war! But as a result of the war, only 66 thousand Poles and 16 thousand Germans died, even an idiot understands that something is not right here! The fact that Germany seized Poland in just a month can be blamed on the rotten Polish state, incompetent generals and the government, who actually fled the country treacherously, not even trying to do anything. But in fact, the West simply surrendered Poland to Germany in order to direct the vector of Germany's aggression further to the east!

From this, we get an important conclusion: we can say that the Second World War was started by Germany only formally (otherwise it would have been a local conflict between Poland and Germany), namely, the countries of the West which were skillfully manipulated by the world behind the scenes. Why was Poland not immediately defended by either Britain or France through a retaliatory invasion, if they clearly understood that they would be next? After all, this is logical, until Hitler has grown stronger and is waging a war in Poland - to hit him back, otherwise he will switch everyone in turn, which is what happened.

The countries of the West waited for Hitler to get fed up and exhausted, but they miscalculated deeply, because the German military was untwisting and strengthening every day incredibly.

And only the USSR was able to break and wrap up the strengthening of Germany's military power, and then completely destroy it.

Now they say, “So who is the winner? - look what a poor Russia, a prosperous Germany "

This is the point, in spiritual terms, the second war never ended !!!

It was the West, represented by the world behind the scenes, that tried to destroy the USSR, Russia and all Slavs with the hands of the German military clique. By this he "lit up" his intentions explicitly, and once he started, he wants to achieve his goal, that's why he continues his attempts to destroy Russia!

To preserve historical justice, it is necessary to analyze the most popular methods of denying the greatest contribution to the victory over fascism of the USSR or "denigrating" the victory of the Soviet people, which are actively used by revanchists in ideological confrontation.

The history of the Second World War is the most important springboard for the struggle for the mass consciousness of the philistine both in Russia and in the West. The interpretation and assessment of historical events is of great importance for the upbringing of the younger generations and the management of society as a whole as the historical (chronological) priority of generalized means of social management. Currently, the most popular topics in the media related to World War II, which are used to manipulate mass consciousness in order to distort the results of World War II and revise its history, are formulated by the following false theses:

1) Denial or suppression of the decisive role of the USSR in the victory in World War II.

2) The Soviet Union won at the expense of large unnecessary sacrifices, contrary to the behest of A.V. Suvorov: "to win not by numbers, but by skill", which is allegedly confirmed by the difference in the number of deaths on the part of Hitler's Germany and the USSR.

3) Interpretation of the famous Molotov-Ribentrop Pact as evidence of the criminal conspiracy of the Soviet leadership with Nazi Germany on the eve of the Great Patriotic War.

4) Cynical attempts to put an "equal" sign between the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany, that is, thereby to slander entire generations of people who saved peace on Earth, and to level the very meaning of the victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War.

5) Proposals to reconsider the issue of "displaced cultural property" that Russia, in the opinion of some Western politicians, should return to its historical homeland.

We will answer each false thesis consistently, taking into account the facts generally recognized by historical science.

1) All of Europe was captured by Hitler's Wehrmacht in less than five months. Such a victorious blitzkrieg of the Nazis at the very beginning of World War II was due to many reasons, but the main conclusion is obvious: Europe was not able to resist the Wehrmacht for at least one year. The Soviet Union fought for its independence and the liberation of Europe from fascism for four long years. The contribution of the allies in the anti-Hitler coalition was more than modest against the background of the total expenses of the USSR for four years. The opening of the second front took place when it became clear to everyone that the USSR was able to independently defeat Nazi Germany and, on this basis, could independently create the fate of the post-war world of Europe. Frightened by this, the West joined the hostilities on the European continent at the final stage of the war. At the same time, the victims of the allies are dozens of times less than the victims of the Soviet people. As for Lend-Lease ("aid" to the USSR in World War II from the United States), in order to settle with the United States under Lend-Lease, Russia - already 60 years after the victory - still had to pay the United States by 2030 an amount exceeding $ 670 million. dollars.

2) The false thesis that we won the victory not by the high organization and heroism of the Soviet people at the front and in the rear, but by the fear of the NKVD barrage detachments and the excessive casualties of the Red Army soldiers, does not correspond to reality. The greater number of victims of Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War in comparison with Nazi Germany is primarily due to the fact that the Nazis deliberately carried out genocide of the civilian population (remember the countless farms and villages that were burned by the Nazis along with their population). Bombing and shelling of hospitals and ambulance trains marked with a red cross was common practice on the part of German pilots and tank crews. And the Soviet troops, on the contrary, fought only with the Wehrmacht and its armed allies. The humane attitude of the Red Army soldiers towards the liberated local population (exceptions to this rule were negligible) and architectural monuments is a well-known fact.

The famous monument "Soldier-Liberator" in Berlin's Treptower Park is a symbol not only of the victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War and the liberation of the peoples of Europe from fascism, but also a symbol of a humane attitude towards the civilian population, which the Soviet wars often saved at the cost of their lives and health. The center of the composition is a bronze figure of a Soviet soldier standing on the rubble of a swastika. In one hand, the soldier holds a lowered sword, and the other supports the German girl he saved.

To understand the careful attitude of the Soviet troops to the architectural monuments of Europe in the process of its liberation from fascism, it is enough to compare two obvious examples. These are additional victims of the Red Army during the liberation of Krakow without preliminary artillery preparation in order to save its historical architecture and the merciless carpet bombing by the allies of Dresden, a city with a unique medieval architecture, where at that time the overwhelming majority of the population was peaceful.

According to the veterans participating in hostilities, in the Great Patriotic War, not a single defensive detachment was able to hold back a fleeing military unit from the front line, since it significantly outnumbered the detachment in numbers and power, and therefore simply would have dared it. It is obvious to military specialists that it would be simply impossible to win a long and exhausting war in the vastness of an entire continent without high organization and strategic control at the fronts and in the rear. The victory of the Red Army in the Great Patriotic War is a natural result of competent command and control of troops at the fronts and organized combat and logistical support under conditions of evacuation and subsequent liberation offensive.

3) The previously mentioned Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact is presented as a criminal conspiracy of the Soviet regime with the Nazis of the Third Reich. But at the same time, it is diligently silent that the British and French governments - even earlier than the USSR - having signed the Munich Agreement of 1938, staked on collusion with Hitler. And Poland during the times of Pilsudski did it even earlier, in 1934, having killed by that time tens of thousands of Red Army prisoners in concentration camps (from the sad events of the history of the Second Cavalry Army). In August 1939, the delegations of France and Great Britain thwarted the Moscow talks on the creation of an anti-Hitler coalition. Only after and as a result of these events, the conclusion by the Soviet Union of a non-aggression treaty with Nazi Germany in August 1939 was for the USSR in the developing circumstances the only available measure of self-defense. The Russian Foreign Intelligence Service reports that the materials obtained by intelligence in 1935-1945 illuminate the true intentions of statesmen of the leading European countries. Confidential notes of the foreign affairs agencies of the leading world powers allowed the political leadership of the USSR to have an absolutely accurate idea of ​​the approaches of the leaders of European countries and the United States to military-strategic changes in pre-war Europe. Therefore, the natural form of self-defense for the Soviet Union was the conclusion of a non-aggression treaty with Germany on August 23, 1939. This document made it possible to prevent the capture of the Baltic states by the Nazis with the subsequent transformation of it into a springboard for an invasion of Soviet territory.

4) Special attention should be paid to the cynical attempts of some Western ideologues to place the USSR and Nazi Germany on the same level as supposedly equally criminal states. This thesis is especially popular in the former Baltic republics of the USSR. Such an immoral thesis does not stand up to criticism, since the aggressor and the victim have fundamentally different legal and moral status. A public trial at the International Military Tribunal in Nuremberg unequivocally condemned the criminal aggression of Hitler Germany, its proven crimes against peace, war crimes and crimes against humanity. The general and fundamental significance of the Nuremberg Charter and the judgment of the International Military Tribunal was expressed in the resolution of the UN General Assembly of December 11, 1946, in which the UN confirmed the principles of international law recognized by the Charter of the Nuremberg Tribunal and found expression in the judgment of the Tribunal.

5) Another example of the distortion of the historical truth of World War II is the issue of the so-called "displaced cultural values", which Russia, according to some Western politicians, should supposedly return to its historical homeland. At the same time, it is deliberately kept silent that the "displaced values" were officially recognized by the international community as compensation for destroyed or exported Russian cultural values, not to mention more than 27 million (40% of all victims of World War II) Soviet people who died, most of whom were civilians ...

Against the background of a long-term campaign unleashed in the media by Western ideologists to distort the historical truth about World War II, St. Petersburg historian N.D. Kozlov rightly believes that the historical memory of the Great Patriotic War, especially among young people, is becoming more and more impersonal. The place of true knowledge is taken by myths and legends. Ideas about the war are formed largely through the perception of artistic images created in recent years, which subjectively reflect the past. The thesis is deliberately cultivated that the country was saved not by the heroism of the people, but by a huge territory and other geoclimatic factors, and repressions against military leaders are cited as the main reasons for the defeat of the Red Army at the beginning of the war.

The victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War is one of the most important historical events uniting Russians, which characterizes the spirit and character of the people. The memory of this Great Victory is littered with myths created by fascist propaganda and interpreted by the so-called "new historians". The war continues, and the main tool for destroying the country is the manipulation of our historical and national identity. Under the influence of massive propaganda, the people are weakening, the practice of self-reflection, doubts, and various complexes are strengthened in their consciousness. In fact, the so-called "pluralism" of ideologies, which was put forward by postmodernists, is being implemented. In fact, there is an erosion of Russian multinational identity under the flag of equality of different points of view, including on the results of the Second World War.

As the conclusions of N.D. Kozlov directly points out: "Until the public consciousness of Russia gets rid of the inferiority complex, does not stop engaging in self-humiliation, does not revive historical memory, self-respect for its past and historical figures, does not learn to be proud of its country, it is impossible to revive a strong country." And further in the text: “History is the collective memory of the people, the source of morality and national identity, the source of the continuity of generations. The educational level of historical knowledge is realized in the learning process in secondary and higher education through curricula, plans, educational literature and the activities of teachers. Their task is to shape the citizens of their country, to foster love and respect for it. There is no neutral story. It largely contributes to the transformation of the crowd into a nation, contributes to the strengthening of the state. A nationally oriented, serious state does not let the process of forming interpretations of historical events take its course anywhere ”. We would add to this that the deprivation of national historical memory, on the contrary, contributes to the transformation of a united nation into a crowd of active and aggressive individuals-loners.

The modern events of the Russian spring in Crimea have shown that the historical consciousness of the multinational Russian people is alive. And Western sanctions pressure on Russia, contrary to the plans of Western competitors, has a positive effect on the rallying of Russians around the Russian world and the consolidation of Russian society around its recognized leader, President of Russia V.V. Putin, who is actively pursuing a course to strengthen Russia's state sovereignty and the realization of national geopolitical interests. Nevertheless, further tragic events in Novorossiya convincingly prove the need for further serious efforts at the level of chronological priority of generalized means of social management in the domestic and foreign policy of Russia.

In the modern world, as a result of fierce global competition for the mass consciousness of citizens, and especially young people, it is necessary to effectively defend historical truth and justice, which are paid for at the dear price of our victorious ancestors. The current generations - the descendants of the winners - should not only be proud of their history, but also worthily continue it in their geostrategic and civilizational interests with their effective deeds. The role of the domestic system of education and family upbringing in this process is a priority and therefore should be fully supported by its state and civil society in Russia.

In total, the fighting lasted only 141 days.

The exception is the Yugoslav partisans, who continued to fight with dignity against the superior forces of the Nazi occupiers.

Attempts to look at the Second World War in a new way have long become a historical and political trend in the West. A number of European countries are obsessively trying to blame not only Hitler's Germany, but also the USSR, and therefore modern Russia, as the culprit of the greatest tragedy of the twentieth century. What is the reason for these historical insinuations? With this question, the analytical portal RuBaltic.Ru turned to some experts who were present at the European Russian Forum, which took place on December 4-5 in Brussels.

Vladimir Simindey, head of research programs at the Historical Memory Foundation:

There are various reasons for such attempts. This is also a change of generations: the generation of those people is leaving who had personal experience of participation in the Second World War or “feeling” its events. Also, the rewriting of the results of the war is facilitated by the offensive of the so-called revisionists, when those interpretations of events that were previously impossible or unacceptable are now mainstream.

Also, unfortunately, in some countries, historical science is a "servant" of politics, therefore historians deliberately find various myths and possible anti-Soviet, anti-Russian and Russophobic interpretations.

Funding is purposefully allocated for this, and there is a desperate competition between those persons who are ready to juggle such epithets.

In turn, a calm and impartial study of the events of the war, on the contrary, is forcibly marginalized. People who take such positions are subject to pressure, if not ostracism. All this greatly distorts the research field and the representation of research results in the media space.

Sadly, at the moment we see a desire for a change of power in Russia on the part of the Western elites. Therefore, it is natural that the disposition to rewrite the results of the war will continue, and the conflict between the West and Russia will become more than likely, if not inevitable. Historians will also be drawn into it. I predict a worsening of the situation and further demonization of Russia up to the dehumanization of the Russian people in the eyes of the western man in the street. However, I hope that Russia, represented by its leadership, understands this and is preparing to survive in such difficult conditions.

Unfortunately, the attempt to rewrite the history of World War II in the West never subsided, but was cyclical: it increased, then slightly decreased. And here we are talking not only about belittling the contribution of the Soviet people to the Victory, but also about changing the very meaning of that war. Now it is believed that the Second World War was fought for liberal democracy, and the only sin of Nazi Germany is the lack of democracy in it.

All this is not done by chance.

Russia is subjected to malicious insinuations, and it is already openly called the second totalitarian monster of that time, they believe that it should be subjected to the belated Nuremberg process.

Yet Russia is strong enough and able to defend its truth, which also causes strong irritation in the West. It must be admitted that the sanctions greatly affected the well-being of the country, but it survived and continues to live. Moreover, I would say that such actions, on the contrary, more mobilize the population to rally around their leaders. While rewriting the results of the war contributes to the understanding that this is the last line that must be held.

An attempt to rewrite the results of World War II began immediately after its end, but now it has become widespread due to the political conjuncture. Also, Russia at the moment is not as powerful as the USSR was, and therefore it seemed to someone that we would not respond to such attacks or would not be able to respond.

As it turns out, we may well react, otherwise our opponents would not run and close Russia Today around the world (despite the fact that this channel is far from CNN in terms of its capabilities and audience coverage).

In turn, history is a science that is often tried to be manipulated, and many people who are not historians will try to do it.

Such falsification of history is already leading to complications in relations between Russia and other countries. People appear who sincerely believe in the new interpretation, and a gap appears between nations. Therefore, I believe that such falsification should be combated, first of all by telling the truth and doing it in a modern way. That is, not with the help of boring books that few people read, but through popular media, using lucid examples and visual evidence.

In 1919, the famous philosopher Oswald Spengler was asked whether the Second World War was possible, to which he replied that it was not only possible, but would happen in 20 years. As you know, his prediction turned out to be prophetic. It just started in 1939. Spengler based his forecast on the fact that in 20 years a new generation will grow up, unfamiliar with the horrors of war.

In turn, more than 70 years have passed since the end of World War II, three generations have already been born, who have the good fortune to grow up in a period without world slaughter.

The generation of winners did everything to keep the memory of the war from being erased, but many people also worked for the opposite goal. Those who were not satisfied with the outcome of the war made systematic efforts to revise them.

Unfortunately, at some point their activities began to bear fruit. As you know, the results of World War II were partially revised in terms of borders: Yugoslavia and Czechoslovakia collapsed, and, most importantly, the USSR was destroyed.

It is clear that this campaign to revise the outcome of the war cannot be completed now. It continues and will continue until the efforts of the side that won the war become consolidated and cohesive.

Otherwise, the process of destruction of several European states, about which I spoke, may not stop, but go further and lead to the destruction of Russia. For over the past quarter of a century we see that the slogan about the need to fight communism was very crafty, since under it the struggle with Russia was and continues to be fought today.

Attempts to revise the history of World War II have been made for a long time, but at present the scale of revising history is simply impressive. It comes to the point that many Japanese, having heard enough propaganda, already believe that the USSR dropped the atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. - Daniel, k Do you think it is generally possible now to revise the results of World War II? The Americans have long ascribed to themselves the main role in the victory, but now they are especially persistently trying to implant this in the minds of people around the world.

This is possible because, unfortunately, people have forgotten world history, they know better the myths imposed on them by propaganda. And we see it every day when it happens before our eyes. In Europe and the United States, this is happening especially actively and clearly. Unfortunately, people have very little knowledge.

- And people take their word for it?

“They just don’t know and don’t understand what happened 70 years ago. The war was won primarily by the Soviet Union. Roosevelt was well aware that the war had already been won at Stalingrad in 1943. At the end of the war, he was ready to do anything with Stalin. Therefore, they entered into a contract. Roosevelt promised Stalin to inject $ 4.5 billion into the Soviet economy to get the Soviet Union back on its feet.

But unfortunately, he died, and instead of him came the Anglophile Truman, who was for England and for the English kingdom. The confrontation began, the cold war ... All this continues today. But people, unfortunately, do not understand this.

- The United States in the countries under its control distorts the historical facts so much that in Japan many people think that Russia, and not America, dropped the atomic bomb on them.

Unfortunately, history is poorly taught. But without knowing the past, one cannot understand the present and build a normal future. That is why it is difficult to understand what is happening and why now.

- Daniel, you were born in the Soviet Union, but nevertheless, you have lived your entire conscious life in Europe, in Switzerland. We can say that there is some part on the plane.

Well, not all my life ... My dad is from Leningrad, my mother is from Minsk. I was born in Vilnius, the capital of the Lithuanian Soviet Socialist Republic. Back then, history was taught well at school. I have never been a European person, I have always remained a Soviet and Russian living in the West.

- But nevertheless, we believe that we are telling the truth, and the European media are lying and give one-sided information. They believe that the Russian media is propaganda and lies, but they have a clear truth, they know it. Who do you think is lying?

- I believe that in the end it is propaganda both here and there. Once again, you just need to understand: why, where do they need so much propaganda. It is very important to understand what is happening today, what happened yesterday and what will happen in the near future. And this war is unleashed against Russia and China.

This is done by the masters of shadows, powers, people, puppeteers, who put the presidents of the United States, Canada, European powers in their places. They understand very well that as long as Russia is on its feet, they will never have this world government.

Therefore, this entire large-scale multi-faceted war, including an information war, is against Russia, against those who prevent them from establishing world domination. If Putin changes his position and assent to the Western powers, then today's bad Putin will be good tomorrow.

But our president will not agree to this. Still, we, as a country, as a power, must resist. - The future of all mankind depends on this.

- In the West we were very loved and believed that we have a democracy, when the first president of Russia drunk conducting the orchestra, danced and fell.

- Right. This is where we got to. Yeltsin, in fact, has never been our president. He has always been an enemy of the Fatherland, like Gorbachev. It was supplied by the same powers, this money, which also supplied Obama, Cameron and all other American and European presidents. It was very easy for them to do it. You just need a large amount of money to prove to the population: this person will be the most wonderful president. You just need to invest in promotion, propaganda.

For example, Carter in the 70s, a completely unknown person before, became the President of the United States. One day. He was known there literally by a few, and a month later the whole country knew him and everyone loved him. But in order to lead the movement like this, you need to prove to the Americans, Europeans, British, French, Canadians that this man is something of himself. But this requires a huge amount of money. And people who do not understand this simply do not understand how these policy levers work.

- Now there is such a friendly chorus of Western journalists that Russia is an aggressor. Go everywhere talk show asking what you will do when Russia attacks your country, for example Lithuania. They call Russian-speaking communities and ask: when will the war with Russia be and which side will you be on? Huge machines are working to whip up hysteria. Only one-sided information is provided, and any attempts to present a different point of view simply bump into a wall.

- Journalists have never been free. That is, any journalist - nowhere in the States, not in Canada, not in France, not in Italy, not in England - has never expressed his opinion on serious issues. Journalists work for someone - for the authorities or for companies owned by American banks, financial tycoons close to the government. That is why journalists work like that. Whoever pays them orders.

Therefore, it is clear that they will all speak and walk in this direction. This is very correct, correct on their part, everything is absolutely clear here. If we do not understand this, then we do not understand how this policy works and how those levers of power work in the West.

- That is, we cannot count on any objective assessment in the field of journalism.

- Of course. But I believe that since they created a problem for us, then this is our problem, it is in Russia. I believe that our Russian, Soviet problem is that we simply do not understand, or rather do not want to take into account how these levers of power and propaganda work in the West.

We believe that in the end the truth will prevail, the truth can never fail, never. But one must fight against their lies. We must fight for the truth. After all, the interests of these shadow masters are always the same, they never changed. Their goal is to crush Russia, as they destroyed the Soviet Union and install another Yeltsin or another Gorbachev.

- It has long been known that Russia has no friends, it has an army and a navy, and now it still has long-range aviation. So I think it won't work.

It will never work. But they will still stand on it.
