Make the nursery cozy with your hands. Cozy nursery in a small area. Functional sleeping place

For a child, his nursery is the whole world. Here you can play, go in for sports, arrange gatherings with friends or go on a journey with the heroes of your favorite book. Creating a cozy nursery will allow children to always feel comfortable in their personal space.

Comfort through the eyes of an adult and a child

An adult associates comfort with dear trinkets, sounds, photos, smells, sensations. For young children, it appears to be a small space where it is easy to retire to play or dream. That is why many children love to build from scrap materials in the house. For a teenager, comfort is expressed by tangible objects in the interior.

A cozy nursery through the eyes of boys and girls also looks different. Similarity in one - an important place is given to the choice of color. But the guys pay less attention to small details and can limit themselves to the necessary, functional set of furniture. Girls, on the other hand, are more sensitive to small details, which is expressed by the presence of a large number of decorative elements in the room.

Color as a base

A children's room cannot be gloomy. And parents often want to saturate the interior with bright colors. But this is not always true, since an abundant accumulation of bright colors can harm the developing psyche of a child.

The design will be correct not in bright, but warm pastel colors with contrasting decor. The main thing is not to rush to make a choice. There are no trifles in the repair!

Shades of yellow and orange are associated with warmth and will fill the children's bedroom with the necessary coziness. Greenish, white, beige will serve as the basis for teenagers' design ideas, and "fruity" and apricot ones will add softness to the characteristic interior for a girl.

The interior will be decorated with furniture in the same style

Furniture

In adolescence, children change their preferences with enviable consistency. To avoid frequent repairs, there must be dynamics in the nursery. Non-standard furniture designs will help to make the room more comfortable and cozy. An option would be sectional furniture on wheels, which is easy to rearrange, and therefore, make changes to the interior.

For the room of school-age children, a folding bed will serve as a successful solution, thanks to which a maximum of free space will be preserved.

An interesting option for a sleeping place is a sleeping corner built into the wardrobe. This model can be easily transformed from a wardrobe section into a comfortable pull-out bed. Girls are unlikely to want to have a similar design in their bedroom, but boys will certainly be interested in it.

Correct organization of lighting creates additional coziness and comfort

A nursery with functional furniture can be easily made cozy with lighting. Subdued light will add softness and mystery to the girls' room, and LED lighting will serve as a decor on the autonomous territory of teenage boys.

Nook

It's no secret that girls are more susceptible to sentimentality than boys. At such moments, you so want to retire and indulge in reflections in a secluded place. It is easy to make such a corner for a child. It is enough to choose a small area in the room in which a comfortable chair with a table or a floor lamp will fit.

A small sofa makes the interior even cozier

If the area of the nursery allows, then the personal space can be separated with a light ceiling screen, highlighting the recreation area. This decision will be appreciated by young ladies who love to arrange gatherings with their friends.

If the girl's bedroom is small and there is no way to supplement it with a seating area, then the bed will serve as a secluded area. You can decorate the corner by placing a transparent canopy above the bed, and complement this option with decor.

Competently selected textiles add comfort and coziness

Small design tweaks

As soon as you finish decorating the interior, its holistic composition and the combination of elements inside it should appear before your eyes. Not a single object should "pull" attention to itself. Harmony in everything is the basis of a cozy room.

  • There is a necessary basic set of furniture that should be in the nursery: a bed, a table and a chair for creative pursuits or study, a rack or wardrobe for clothes, books, toys. Well, when these items correspond to the age of the child, there is no "growth". The way out is ergonomic models, adjustable in height.
  • The location of the work area should be as close to the source of natural light as possible, and the head of the bed should be located so that the front door is visible.
  • A wigwam hut, a marker board for drawing or notes, a ball basket, a dollhouse, a night light, for teenagers - an inflatable chair or, a soft pouf, darts, a designer lamp will add a twist to the children's interior.
  • Thinking about practicality, do not forget about figurative versatility. Children have a different perception of objects, where an adult has realism, a child has imagination. This explains the situation when the bed turns into a car, a pillow into a steering wheel, an ordinary bunny into a princess. In a nursery, a combination of materials and textures is important, but at the same time, the room should not turn into a heap of design elements that do not fit each other.
  • Knitted items are associated with comfort. A bedspread or a blanket on the bed will turn even the most discreet interior into a cozy nest.
  • Selection is important, based on their usefulness, and how they will look in the interior. Large-leaved flowers, for example, amaryllis, will be noticeable against the background of wallpaper with a small modest pattern, and vice versa, the fern will approach the walls with a bright accent. Ideal when the color scheme of upholstery or textiles echoes the flowers.

If you have a pet who has chosen a place in the child's room, then its furniture must also be correctly entered into the design. The most versatile are a wicker basket, bedding, beds or houses, the color of which is in harmony with the general color scheme.

What makes a good nursery? She is liked by a child who feels comfortable and relaxed in her, and where he can express his physical and creative abilities without hesitation.

Children grow up quickly, their interests and hobbies change. But the care of parents remains unchanged, one of the manifestations of which is comfort in the children's territory.

Woody accents are especially successful in this - warm, textured and simply beautiful, they will become a real decoration! The undoubted plus of this material is environmental friendliness and safety for the child.

Therefore, a small house will definitely turn out to be a favorite place to spend your time. Read a book, tell secrets to your best plush friend - a magic tent or a real wigwam from the "Tree House" project is ideal for all this.

8. The main place to play

Don't forget the floor! After all, it is on the floor that the main games of children take place - the construction of endless roads and high towers, knightly tournaments and a princess ball, an appointment with a doctor and a lesson at school. The carpet is able to transform the interior of the nursery, but the approach to the choice is demanding. The space for games should be comfortable, safe, and at the same time attractive. And it is also ideal if the flooring does not cause difficulties when cleaning, because little fidgets often leave marks from their games.

The ideal choice is PVC carpet from "Feel Hell", it has all the necessary qualities and was created especially for children, combining aesthetics and practicality.

10. Cozy lights

Soft dim light can transform a room beyond recognition and fill it with magic. It is the lights that are most often associated with something cozy - be it a burning candle or the light of a garland. It is the garlands that we recommend to use in the nursery, they are a stylish independent decor even in daylight, and even in the evening twilight, when they light up, they look even more wonderful!

But even among children's nightlights, you can find interesting options, for example, Masaihome lamps, which will not only help your baby fall asleep sweetly at night, but will also become a wonderful decoration in the children's room during the day.

For a baby, his own room is always special and the best. After all, everything here is only for him - toys, a favorite bed, a wardrobe with clothes, things dear to the heart. That is why mothers put so much effort trying to surround their child with only beautiful things. We hope our tips will help you in this matter, and you will be able to transform the children's room so that it becomes a favorite space for the child, so that the room is filled day after day with comfort and sonorous laughter!

Creating your own cozy world for your child is not an easy task. When the baby is still young enough, parents try to fill the nursery with countless toys and bright pictures. They transform the nursery into a fairy-tale world. In the process of growing up, the child already wants to be the designer of his space himself. It grows out of fairy tales. Parents should listen to his opinion, as preferences can be radically different. You need to look at the room through the eyes of your child and help with experience and knowledge to recreate the atmosphere in which it will be most convenient and comfortable for him. It is necessary to create a place into which the growing baby will be pulled, where he will feel as much as possible in tune with the surrounding reality.

Making a cozy room together

The main decision for the layout of the play and sleeping area will, of course, fall on the shoulders of the parents. But the selection of the design style will have to be coordinated with the little inhabitant. You can offer to view photos of various design styles and choose together the direction you like. After that, you can choose stylish furniture and competent lighting. This is where the parents make decisions about price and quality, and the child's shape and color. A future little designer can place appropriate accents and choose textiles for the home, while an online store will be the most optimal place to order.

The little man gets the greatest right in textile design. There are much more opportunities to change everything over time, so give him the opportunity to show maximum imagination. You can give him the opportunity to browse some Internet catalog and write a list of all the things he liked. Then, together, think over and discuss the most successful finds. Here are a few basic directions to look for:

  • Pick up textile capes and bedspreads;
  • Choose curtains that are organic for the interior;
  • Allow to buy inexpensive bedding and pillows of any color.

All these things will give the child much more joy and pride. After all, he can feel quite mature and trustworthy. When planning your purchases, you can marvel at the financial ability of the little genius. Sometimes children, active Internet users can find and buy a lot of things. They have much more experience in allocating a small pocket budget, and sometimes they are simply astounding in their knowledge of the economic aspects.

Another way of joint creativity, creating small interior details on your own. If a child loves to tinker, let him pick up something from the section: DIY design. You can make a wonderful lampshade or picture, embroider napkins or make an extraordinary frame for a photograph. In addition to pride, this thing will evoke in the child the memories of the time spent with mom and dad.

Don't try to give too much advice. Give your little designer the maximum amount of rights. Who knows, maybe your child will show talent. Maybe he will find many more ideas and ways to implement them. Maybe with the help of a child, you can even save a lot. Our children have a unique quality: to amaze parents with their personality.

In this article we will deal with a small children's room: how to make it comfortable and beautiful for a child, show interesting photo examples of design, and also tell you how to organize storage and arrange furniture.

If you allow the student to create the interior of his room himself, it will suddenly turn out that the child really needs free space. Children need a personal cozy space - for meeting friends, for active games and relaxation.

Let's say more - even before school begins the independent life of a little man, he has a desire to create his own order in his personal zone.

Therefore, in the first room of the child there should be a feeling of freedom, and, preferably, an intimate corner and an area for joint games.

Even if the children's room is small, you can pass the parental exam and make it exactly as comfortable as possible for the baby.

Let's start with what colors and furnishing design techniques we need.

General rules for the design of a small children's interior

For small rooms, pastel base colors are selected. In a small nursery, the more pleasant shades of light gamut should prevail, reminiscent of summer and warmth - light green, coral, beige.

As the furnishings are updated, the play area will become, solid wall decoration is encouraged. An interior designed in one pastel tone will look more free. But at the same time, the room should have bright details in the spirit of pop art, appropriate for the child's age - striped curtains, colored pillows, posters or photo collages.

A narrow room will visually expand with contrasting wallpapers. In this case, the back wall should be highlighted with a brighter color than the rest, or interesting.

If the room is long and tall, the accent wall can be decorated with horizontal stripes. They will make the space freer and more harmonious.

Horizontal stripes on the floor will also expand the walls. And this same line effect can be used in a room setting. In a long room, along a narrow wall, you can place a bed, a table or a low chest of drawers with horizontal shelves.

In general, try to use compact furniture instead of classic furniture walls, which saves as much space as possible. Sideboards in a small play area will replace hinged shelves and open shelving, and hidden storage systems will play the role of a chest of drawers.

And one more important point: there must be good lighting both in the bedroom and in the child's work area. The diffused soft light expands the walls a little and will be useful for children's vision.

Therefore, to decorate the window, use tulle, translucent curtains or light-diffusing roller shutters, without the darkening effect.

Luminaires located on the ceiling near the walls of a small room will retain the feeling of spaciousness in the evening.

And most importantly: when choosing a general color scheme, curtains and fancy lamps, remember that boys and girls have different ideas about a cozy fairy-tale room.

Already in children's games, the boy shows the instinct of a conqueror and a hunter, and girls - a love of home comfort, beauty, dreams of luxury.

Therefore, let's say in more detail what should be in the male, female nursery, and in the room in which more than one child will live.

Small room for a boy: what you can think of

The ideal room in the dreams of the smallest conqueror may resemble the deck of a pirate ship or an observatory.

The interior of a little boy's room can be made a little fantastic, but the main thing is practical, so that the same fairy tale does not get bored as he grows up.

To begin with, the colors of the marina and colonial styles are suitable for a small explorer's abode. Successful examples of basic marine combinations: white and blue, sand and turquoise, light green with brown and blue accents.

This style will be complemented by striped prints and colonial furnishings, from "fairytale wanderings" - a chest or an unusual floor lamp.

Small room for a girl: how to create coziness

There is a stereotype that a little girl's dream room is necessarily pink, filled with dolls, ribbons and beads.

In fact, even for a little girl, harmony, order and free space in which she is the queen are important. The basic tones of the interior should correspond to her temperament, and dolls and other accessories should harmoniously decorate the environment, but not take away her personal space.

Suitable colors and combinations for the women's nursery:

  • White
  • coral
  • pale lavender
  • citric
  • Orange
  • light green or mint
  • combinations in the style of romanticism: gray with pink, gray with blue, beige with brown.

Dreamy girls love not only the colors, but also the general details of the French style romanticism - the canopy, paintings and figured decor.

Such details are especially appropriate when the baby develops taste, self-esteem, and there is a need for personal space. But remember - all interior items should be appropriate and not take up much space.

Small room for two: how to divide the space

In a children's room, even in a small and compressed room, there must be several separate zones. If there are two kids, it is fundamentally important to demarcate the area. In particular, you need to separate the following areas:

A work corner for a child who is already studying or for joint creativity

Intimate places for relaxation for each of the children.

Therefore, the first important point in the setting of a joint small nursery: try to choose ergonomic furniture in order to give each child a personal space. For example, there are such options:

  • bunk bed
  • sliding double desk
  • transparent shelving that visually delimits the area.

The second moment in creating such an interior: you can highlight the territory of each child with the help of contrasting wall decoration and light.

Even thanks to the conditional boundaries, each of the children will grow up with the feeling that he has his own corner, and feel comfortable in a shared room.

We will offer several options for how to decorate the walls in this situation.

1) Contrasting colors.

This option is convenient, for example, if the room is intended for a boy and a girl or two girls with different temperaments. One part of the room can be noticeably bright, while the other can be in calm or neutral colors. Examples of harmonious combinations for a small room: pink and gray, pink and orange, blue and white, lavender and cream.

2) Inversion.

In this case, two base colors are used. Each half of the room is dominated by its own color and accents of the color used for the other half.

3) One wall - slate.

This idea will help out when a schoolchild and a baby should get along side by side.

Achromatic and delicate finishing colors are pleasant for the eyes of a nursing baby: gray-pink, gray-blue, beige, olive. Plus, there can be simple small prints in his children's area.

An adult child loves a dynamic and vibrant environment, ideal for creativity and active play.

Therefore, for an older preschooler or schoolchild, you can do it, which he will arrange according to his own taste.

Furniture for a small nursery: focus on mobile modules

At the age when the child is ready to separate from the adults in his abode, he needs his own minimum set of furniture. Some headsets are impossible to refuse, even if the room is very small. Plus, if there are two children, everyone still needs something of their own - boxes and shelves for storing toys, personal diaries, textbooks.

But the obligatory classic furnishings can be replaced with more miniature modular items.

  • separate bed or couch
  • school desk and wall racks
  • wardrobe, chest of drawers, additional lockers for clothes and toys.

The role of a separate working corner will be performed by modules with a table top. For example…

Loft bed. This model is often sold complete with a table that is compactly located under the berth.
- Shelving unit with folding table.

Modern alternatives to large dressers are open hinged shelves, which retain a sense of freedom, and sideboards.

The matching furniture modules are ideal for a small nursery in different ways:

  • they are usually very roomy and at the same time take up a minimum of space
  • easy to move
  • and therefore, with their help, you can easily zone the area
  • open modular shelves without glass are the safest
  • especially for mobile owners, you can pick up modules without sharp corners.

Any headset for a child must be chosen based on these criteria.

On top of that, impeccable furniture is one that meets the requirements of pediatricians and psychologists:

  • completely made of eco-friendly materials
  • with sturdy mounts
  • has reliable and non-sharp fittings (or without handles)
  • moderately bright, in pleasant colors
  • harmoniously located in the room, leaving maximum space for entertainment and relaxation.

Let's talk a little more about the last point.

Principles for placing furniture and decorating a nursery

Some wood-based furniture modules are easy to move. But, nevertheless, before ordering furniture, you need to think about a convenient arrangement. In the design of a small nursery, the principles of ergonomics are especially important.

1) The child's workplace is best placed near the window.

2) It is worth using non-functional angles correctly.

For example, if the room is square, with a window on the far wall, the table can be located opposite the window, the bed and wardrobe - near the adjacent walls, closer to the corners.

If there are two beds, they can be placed perpendicularly, closer to the corner.

The gaps near the window can also be rationally used for corner shelves, open shelving.

3) In addition to the above, if the room has a non-standard shape, it can be decorated in an original way with items made specifically for the project. In this case, you can specially order

Headsets with curly facades

Built-in niches

Bench pouf or niche bed.

4) It is advisable to place small modules with compartment doors near the walls in the narrow part of the room.

5) Finally, let's recall how stripes allow you to increase the space. Horizontal lines push the walls apart. And if in a narrow room the window is on the far short wall, it is better to place low elongated objects near it - a desk or a bed. The window itself will be harmoniously decorated with horizontal blinds or curtains that create a horizontal line.

If the window is on a long wall, you can place a table and a tall module for books next to it. In this case, long curtains like an hourglass will look beautiful on the window.

In classic sleeping areas, home and cozy, just such vintage curtains are welcome. In a more modern play area for children, different solutions are needed. Therefore, let's say in more detail about the choice of the style of the room.

Storage in a small children's room

The best way to keep a small nursery tidy is to create. To do this, you can use baskets, boxes and furniture. Moreover, the more closed this storage will be, the neater the space will remain. Here are some examples to help you understand how to use these ideas in your apartment.

Classic, minimalism, nautical theme: which style is right for your nursery

Modern style is the first thing associated with the latest children's rooms, equipped with compact modular furniture.

Modern style allows you to use only 2-3 harmonious basic contrasting shades and only the necessary items. In such an interior, each thing has its own place, zones are clearly identified. And it is in such a room that the child will learn to maintain order, to store the necessary things in the designated places.

A great backdrop for a modern child's room is plain walls or wallpaper with a simple geometric print.

The table, shelving, storage systems may look a little futuristic, curved, but must be comfortable.

The style is suitable for children starting from 2-3 years of age (we will say about the style for the baby's room below). At the same time, unlike adult strict minimalism, the "childish" modern style welcomes bright color blocks. In addition, the room of an adult child can be made more interesting with the help of patchwork elements.

This is a similar style, since it also welcomes minimalism and conciseness.

However, in the Scandinavian interior, the basic tones are close to white - milky, gray-white, with blueness. And this light background is complemented by natural furniture - ash, bleached oak, bright pillows and carpets.

The soft and pleasant color palette makes the style perfect for babies and toddlers. But back to what grown-up children value more.

Loft is one of the trends of modern style, which can be called "beautifully equipped attic". The style is truly masculine, but it can be interestingly played in the abode of the dreamer girl.

It looks harmonious if the nursery is located in the attic of the house. In this case, you can decorate the plank walls with your favorite children's posters and preserve the atmosphere of an abandoned room (which boys love so much!).

You can create a similar environment in an ordinary small room with large windows.

The main thing in style is a brick or gray wall, mysterious metal lamps, an abundance of light. All furniture must be functional and free of space. The output should be a practical room, ideal for active games and creating a mini-workshop.

The classic style, on the contrary, offers a set of design techniques for decorating an adult girl's room.

Such a room can have a plain color scheme (typical for modern projects) or wallpaper with vertical stripes. But the basic colors of the classics are not childish, but more restrained, "royal" - pink, olive, beige. The right shade will expand a small space.

Plus, the monochromatic palette of the classic sleeping area is necessarily decorated with decorations - expensive fittings and curly headboards, an original chandelier, long palace curtains. Textile decorations in the style of patchwork, paintings are also welcome.

Another feminine style, harmonious, with elements of French classics.

In the women's room in the spirit of Provence, one very pleasant and necessarily natural color prevails - smoky white, olive, herbal, lavender, and maybe a floral print. Small flowers will make a small room more spacious.

At the same time, there must be shelves and souvenirs made of wood, forged metal, embroidered pillows and wicker baskets. Such accessories do not resemble palace decorations, but homemade gifts, and for this reason an adult girl may like it.

In general, Provence resembles the atmosphere of a rich summer cottage, adjusts to rest, and is suitable for a bedroom or a lounge area of a young princess.

And finally, one more style that can be used in an unusual way in the children's room is marine.

The style is popular with boys, but it satisfies all kids' need for romantic adventures, allowing them to play treasure hunter and collect souvenirs all the time.

The following colors are taken as a basis for creating a style in different combinations: white, blue, turquoise, green, a little red shades, and details with striped prints. If space is tight, use white or wide stripes for the base trim.

Textured wooden furniture is very appropriate in this style. And for the decor of the room, a steering wheel, a compass clock, souvenir ships, linen curtains, rope tacks for curtains can be used.

In general, the child will figure out how to fill the room with overseas treasures.

The main thing in any style of a child's room is not chic and not creative toys, but convenience and details that correspond to the age and desires of the child. Therefore, browse different interiors and ideas with the younger member of the family if you are going to furnish or remodel his small abode.

A suspended ceiling can be an excellent solution to renovate and recreate an attractive smooth surface. ("Suspended ceilings") Suspended ceilings are divided into several types. In the presented options for children, tension and plasterboard options were used, including those combined by connecting plasterboard tiers with tension canvases. To install suspended plasterboard ceilings, you will need a standard set of tools, which are usually in the arsenal of any home craftsman. Such a ceiling consists of a frame (more often assembled from a metal profile, but there are also wooden beams and there is a choice at the discretion and preference of the master) sheathed with plasterboard plates. Such a suspended structure can be flat, two or multi-tiered, with built-in lighting, or simply equipped with hanging chandeliers. ("Ceiling from plasterboard with lighting", "How to make a ceiling from plasterboard", "Multilevel plasterboard ceilings").

But in addition to plasterboard suspended ceilings, structures with stretch canvases are often used. Unlike plasterboard surfaces, tension canvases do not need additional putty and decorative finishing. Stretch fabrics are made in two types in a wide color palette and various textures. In addition, stretch fabrics can be immediately produced with a printed pattern and even a photo print. But the installation of such structures will require certain skills and specific tools, which are described in the following articles: "Installation of chandeliers, spotlights for stretch ceilings", "How to choose a stretch ceiling", "Patterned stretch ceilings", "Types of stretch ceilings". One of the types of suspended ceilings is cladding with wood, plastic or other panels made of chipboard, MDF, plywood. An example of this is a photo of an attic children's room, the ceiling and walls, which are sheathed with a wooden board like siding. ("Ceiling in a wooden house", "Working with siding. Types of siding and the main stages of cladding").

3. Renovation and decorative finishing of walls. Design of apartments photos of children's rooms. Children's room with a car bed, as well as a children's room with a play area and a children's room on the attic floor. (Fig. 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17)

Before you start decorating the walls and you must also carefully prepare. To do this, first remove the old decorative coating (dismantle the wall panels, tear off the wallpaper or wash off the paint), then the walls are repaired. Wall surfaces can be repaired similar to ceilings in several ways. By updating the layer of plaster and putty, you can cut material costs and save space, but this may require considerable physical effort, and to work with tools and mortars, you need to have construction skills, which, however, are easily and quickly acquired in the process. ("Leveling walls", "Putty walls", "Plastering correctly", "Spatula and additional tools for painting"). If the estimate and the area of the room allows, then many craftsmen prefer to use plasterboard to repair the walls. Plates of special wall drywall (besides the fact that this material is thermo - and water - resistant, such drywall is somewhat thicker than the ceiling) are attached to a pre-installed crate, or, much less often, directly to the wall (although rarely, this also occurs). ("Plasterboard walls", "Walls with niches and drywall shelves"). After the walls are repaired, you can start decorating them. Children's rooms provide an opportunity to show your creative ideas and make your wildest dreams come true in the interior. In the children's room, both bright walls and colorful drawings will be not only appropriate, but also welcomed in every possible way. The photographs show rooms with several finishes, including even the most extraordinary ones with silk fabric finishes. But the first thing we will pay attention to is painting the walls. Painting the walls will require particularly careful leveling and sanding. The plane should be absolutely smooth then the walls after painting will look attractive. It is also worth noting that on plain surfaces, wall defects will be much more visible than on walls painted with all kinds of pictures, ornaments and paintings. ("High-quality painting - beautiful walls in the apartment", "Painting the walls with water-based paint", "Fragmental wall decor using stickers").

It is equally important and correct to choose the right paint with painting tools. With a large volume of the painted area, you can use not only special rollers, but also spray guns. More information about the selection of paints and tools is written in the following articles: "paint for walls", "Types of spray guns", "Painting tools, brushes, rollers".

The next option for decorative finishes was wallpaper-based. Wallpapers are made in a wide range of both design and material used for their production. The choice of wallpaper for a nursery is especially difficult because of the additional requirements put forward to the material. First of all, this concerns the safety of the material for the health of the child, and only after that follows the reliability of the coating, the possibility of wet cleaning and wishes for design. ("How to paint wallpaper for painting", "Stencils and murals on wallpaper for painting", "Choosing wallpaper for walls") To decorate spacious children's rooms, in which the play area can easily fit, wall decorative panels are often used for decoration. In children's rooms, the use of panels takes on a new meaning. Decorative panels for wall decoration in children's rooms, besides being very bright and beautiful, but also very unusual. Such panels are even made with their own hands in the form of pockets on the walls, letters (glued or sewn to a fabric, paper or wooden base). The room upholstered with fabric has become unusual. Such a colorful piece of jewelry is actually quite simple to make. For this, a furniture stapler is taken and with its help the material is sewn to the base on the wall. It can also be cladding made of plywood sheets, chipboard and other strong material. ("Making sofas with soft upholstery with your own hands"). In general, decorative panels can be an excellent substitute for drywall boards or other finishing methods. For example, wooden boards and slats, which are often used for wall cladding, as already noted in the description of the interior, will beautifully, reliably and safely decorate the wall surfaces. Other types of finishing panels are also widely used. ("Wall panels. Types, features. Photo.", "Wall panels. Do-it-yourself selection and installation", "Wall decoration").

4. Floor surface. Renovation and cladding. Modern design of a children's room photo. Children's room with a bunk bed and children's room for girls and boys (Fig. 18, 19, 20, 21)

The subfloor surface is repaired using proven methods using a cement screed or by replacing wooden floor parts. For this, several screed options are used, including modern self-leveling solutions. ("Methods for leveling the floor"). About what materials are used for cladding the floor surface, it has been written more than once in articles about children's rooms. The main criterion in the choice of material is the safety of products for the health of the child. And this applies not only to the quality of the raw materials used for the manufacture, but directly to the coating itself. ("How to choose linoleum. Types and features of linoleum.", "Laminate in the interior", "We independently lay block parquet", "Parquet board. Laying with our own hands", "Types of carpet. We lay the carpet ourselves"). So, for example, in nurseries, laminate and parquet are often used, which are covered with carpets, as well as linoleum on a soft base and carpet. For finishing the floor in children's rooms, tiles are rarely used, and this is primarily due to the fact that the tiles are hard and can cause many injuries due to outdoor games for children. Therefore, soft floors for children's rooms are welcome.

Self-leveling floors are also gaining popularity. This amazing method is especially suitable for spacious children's rooms with enough space to recreate wonderful paintings and 3D images on the floor. ("Types of self-leveling floor", "Self-leveling floors").

5. Items of furniture and decor in the apartment. Decorating a children's room with your own hands photo. (Fig. 22, 23, 24, 25).

Furniture and decors play a huge role in the recreation of original interiors. It is with their help that you can radically transform the room. Of course, beautiful wallpapers with children's drawings, fabulous and cartoon characters painted on the painted walls decorate the nursery and fill the atmosphere with the feeling of a children's holiday, but children's beds in the form of shells with a pearl nightlight, a children's car bed and carriage beds look especially impressive. Sometimes dads even manage to design beds in the form of beautiful castles with a playground and slides. But if making a bed with your own hands the first time may seem too difficult, then you can start by making bookshelves in the form of a magic tree or chests - boxes for toys. ("Photo gallery of bedroom interiors with beds and canopies", "Bunk beds in the interior of children's rooms." You can also use more affordable decor methods. For example, rooms decorated with butterflies, flowers and plants look wonderful. Rooms with numerous LED lighting of furniture and ceiling look bright and incredibly attractive.
