One of the maps shows our region. I like to travel without leaving my home - to find cities, rivers, the names of which I have heard, to mark the places where I happened to be.
My room is very comfortable. In summer, you can feel the coolness here, as the sun is obscured by the chestnut branches that grow under the window. In winter, the air is well warmed up by the hot wall of the fireplace.
I like my room. And when I leave for a long time, I miss and imagine how I come back here again.
4. Essay on the topic of the description of the room
The British called their own house a fortress. And not without reason: after all, only being at home, a person feels peace and tranquility. For me, such a citadel is my room, where I spend most of my free time.
The room is cozy, because there is only the most necessary, order always reigns, and a large window lets in a lot of sun. Even if the room seems small to someone, there is enough space for me.
There is a table in light beige not far from the window. I am a supporter of order, which is why the countertop is almost always empty. Unless there may be a small stack of textbooks and notebooks on the edge. A tall and narrow bookcase is located nearby. It contains many copies that my mother began to collect. Among the old, still Soviet, bindings, modern, glossy bindings stand out brightly, which my parents bought especially for me.
On the opposite wall is where I sleep: a sofa bed with soft blue upholstery. It doesn't take up much space. I lay it out for the night, and in the morning I return it to its previous position. There is also a massive wardrobe here. It contains neat piles of my things, hangers with school and formal clothes.
I spend a lot of time at home, so I try to clean up so that unnecessary things do not interfere with concentrating on the right things. I love my room very much.
