Projects of houses of a log 6 to 8. Projects of wooden houses. A rational solution is a combination of different types of wood

Built from logs, measures 6x8. It disposes and allows even a large family to stay in it. The house has two floors, is comfortable, practical and has a charming appearance. It will be the perfect place for a summer vacation with the whole family or with friends. But in such a house you can not only relax, but also live permanently. Especially there is a house to be erected, for example, on the shore of a lake.

6x8 houses have some advantages over smaller buildings. In such a house, in addition to the territories separately allocated for each family member, there is also an area for family gatherings. Such a house costs a little more, but its comfort and convenience is much higher.

This house project is distinguished by the presence of a large living room, bright and cozy. You will be happy to receive guests here. The kitchen, located on the ground floor of the house, is also large and bright. All rooms can be accessed directly from the hallway. Also on the ground floor there is a convenient sanitary unit.

The wooden staircase leading from the living room to the second floor is comfortable and functional. It leads to a vacant hall on the second floor. There are also two bedrooms there.

The project of this house, made of rounded logs, will help to make all your dreams come true.

Choosing wood for construction

We build from Kirov pine, cedar and larch. We have two own production facilities located in Kirov and Sayanogorsk (Khakassia). When booking a forest during the development of a project, it is possible to choose a region of cedar harvesting: the available geography of timber harvesting is the whole of Siberia!

A rational solution is a combination of different types of wood:

    The mortgage crown is Siberian larch. This durable and moisture-resistant wood will last almost forever, you will be spared from the problems with the cap.

    Walls made of Kirov pine - this solution will reduce the cost of a wall kit by 15-20% compared to a cedar of a similar diameter.

    Above - a pair of cedar crowns, which will heal the atmosphere in the pine frame, enrich the air with useful phytoncides and aroma.

We have 20 years of experience in working with wood, we have permanent teams and hereditary cutters from Siberia. Our chief architect has been working with our company since 2002, all of his constructive and planning solutions are carefully thought out and calculated!

A country house made of 6x8 rounded logs can be built on a small area. The one-story version will become a cozy summer cottage, and the two-story cottage will become a comfortable place for family living. The variety of architectural projects makes it possible to choose the type of building that suits personal preferences and needs. It can be a log house in the form of a tower, a house with an attic, a carved porch or a terrace.

Why are log houses popular?

Rounded log is a structural material obtained from a tree trunk using high-tech machine tools. The quality of the wood determines the performance characteristics of the future structure. It is important that logs of proper quality are selected for the construction of a residential building (the assessment is carried out according to the parameters of moisture content, homogeneity and structure of wood).

The price of a 6x8 house made of rounded logs depends on the quality of materials (the cost of wood of different species varies in a wide range), the complexity of the project and the technologies used. Subject to building codes and regulations, the construction of high-quality logs will become a reliable, durable, comfortable country cottage for living. The advantages of living in a log house are the following:

  • favorable microclimate;
  • minimal heating costs (wood prevents warm air from escaping);
  • no need for decorative finishes (smooth log walls look beautiful on their own);
  • low construction cost (compared to houses made of stone and brick).

A house made of rounded larch, cedar and oak logs is not inferior in strength and durability to stone buildings.

Terms of construction of houses from rounded logs

The construction of a log house takes a little time - 45-60 days in the warm season, in the absence of extreme weather conditions. However, how many months it will take for a building to be ready for some internal work (for example, installing stairs or installing decorative structures) depends on many factors:

  1. The time of year during which construction is in progress.
  2. Log characteristics (moisture level).
  3. Wood species.
  4. Climatic conditions.

Work in the field of wooden architecture should be carried out by experienced craftsmen who know the peculiarities of shrinkage of coniferous and deciduous structures. Wood is a living material that changes its properties depending on external conditions.

Compression of wood occurs as the material dries - the period of primary stabilization of a structure from a log of natural moisture is at least 7 months. Thus, a turnkey house will sit down for a long time, although this process will be less and less active every year.

To prevent deformations of the structure, special technologies are used - the installation of casing boxes in doorways and window frames, as well as expansion joints for vertical supports. The stabilizing structures are adjusted monthly.

The cost of a log house (6x8) of a simple structure is 2-4 million rubles. Of course, the price increases many times over when using valuable wood. As for the comfort of living, this factor completely depends on the punctuality of adherence to construction technologies and the quality of construction material. On our website you can see house designs from 6x8 rounded logs.

Information for customers

Types of profiled timber

Profile A- This is a classic profile view, it has a wide groove, compensation cut from the top and bottom (it saves the timber from cracks). The timber fits tightly to each other, and so that the house does not lead during shrinkage, the crowns are fastened with wooden dowels (dowels). The joints of the timber in the corners of the house are made according to the principle of a dovetail, which ensures that there are no through gaps in the house.

Profile B- This type of profile, which is often called Finnish or Scandinavian, is the most popular in the construction of houses from a bar. It has a double lock (which ensures the most tight fit between the crowns), a special cut from the top and bottom (it saves the timber from cracking). The best thermal insulation is helped by jute (a special seal that is placed between the crowns). Also, the crowns of the house are fastened with wooden dowels (so that the timber does not lead when drying out). A dovetail is cut into the corners of the house (so that there are no through cracks in the house). A house made of a bar of such a profile is very durable, warm and usually serves for many years without repair.

Profile B- If you choose between a profiled bar and a log, this profile is an excellent option, as it has all the advantages of option A, plus it imitates a log from the outside. Jute is placed between the timber (the best insulation, many times better than moss and tow). And the crowns are additionally fastened with dowels (these are wooden sticks for attaching the timber to each other). This fastening ensures an even shrinkage of the house.
