Environmental materials in home decoration. Selection of environmentally friendly building materials Environmentally friendly repair

Renovation is always a small ecological disaster in a single apartment. According to environmental experts, only a quarter of the building and finishing materials used in our country can be considered environmentally friendly. Other materials can cause significant harm and pose a serious threat to our health. According to statistics from the World Health Organization, indoor air is five times more polluted on average than outside.

1.Floor coverings
The material for covering the floor can be different, the main thing is that it does not emit a chemical odor. The most environmentally friendly options are paintable wooden boards, parquet or ceramic tiles. Although varnish and mastic are also sources of harmful substances. Cheap laminates and linoleum give off formaldehyde, but expensive ones are almost harmless. When covering with linoleum, remember that the danger is glue. Jute, woolen or cotton carpets are also quite environmentally friendly, but you should be careful with fully synthetic counterparts.

3. Windows
The safest are wooden windows. But any wood products are covered with protective materials. And they can be harmful to our health. Meanwhile, plastic windows (PVC) are not as dangerous as people think about them. PVC is used in all industries and in every apartment it is available not only in the form of frames for double-glazed windows. These are plumbing pipes, and any household or computer equipment, dishes, toys, and so on. Harmful substances are released from PVC only during combustion, at a temperature of 200 degrees. Formally, double-glazed windows in plastic design are not considered completely environmentally friendly, but they are harmless to health.

4. Ceiling
The most affordable and simple way to repair the ceiling is to use water-based paint. This is a proven material. If you make a suspended ceiling, then it is better to opt for an environmentally friendly material - aluminum. Unlike other materials, aluminum ceilings do not emit any harmful chemical elements. However, it is worth considering the fact that the suspended ceiling is a "dust collector", and this leads to the fact that the air quality in the apartment deteriorates. Stretch ceilings in an apartment can be installed, but you should know that at least three or more months after their installation, most of them emit a harmful substance - phenol.

Which ceilings are environmentally friendly?

Decorating ceilings in an apartment is sometimes no less important than decorating walls. As an important part of the interior, this plane must match the rest of the interior details and many different finishes can be used to achieve a harmonious combination. At the same time, it is very important to use environmentally friendly material for the decoration of the ceiling.

The concept of environmental friendliness

There is no complete clarity on this issue, and the reason for this was a diametrically opposite approach to assessing environmental friendliness. Many believe that only those types of materials that cannot harm human health and will not emit harmful volatile components during operation fall under this definition.

This is true, environmentally friendly ceilings, which are selected according to this principle, correspond to the named concept. However, there is another approach, according to which, it is not the effect of coatings on human well-being or the atmosphere in the house that is important, but the material from which they are made. Many are convinced that such coatings are completely harmless.

According to this concept, an environmentally friendly ceiling installed in an apartment should be made of natural ingredients. That is, it does not contain artificial ingredients. It is difficult to find such a coating, but they are still available - cork sheets, bamboo and the most popular type of finish for such a plan is natural wood.

At the same time, in the production of these materials, a lot of different chemical components are used that can have a negative impact on human health. Therefore, speaking about the concept of "environmentally friendly", you can only consider the option of finishing, which will not harm your health. Next, we will consider several other popular types of coatings and try to assess their environmental friendliness.

Stretch ceiling

A popular way to quickly and relatively inexpensively arrange an overlap in a room. Very often, you can hear the seller's assurances that the stretch ceilings offered by their company are environmentally friendly. For the most part, this statement is true, and here's why:

  • PVC film does not emit any harmful substances into the atmosphere. If you hear that it is harmful, think about what the pipes are made of through which water is supplied to your house every day for drinking? In modern buildings, plastic pipes made of PVC and do not bring any harm.
  • Textile ceilings are made of artificial materials and impregnated with special chemical compounds. But, the content of various harmful substances in them is even lower than in PVC. That is, such coverage will also be safe.
  • In addition to these reasons, all stretch ceilings have documents confirming the safety of their operation, issued by a special commission of specialists who comprehensively appreciated this moment.

Painted or whitewashed ceilings

An equally popular type of design and very often called "the cleanest". This is not entirely true. Almost all components of such a finish will contain active chemicals. The only type of coating of this type that will be completely natural and safe is. But, this design has many negative qualities:

  • The appearance of an uneven floor, whitewashed with chalk, does not evoke pleasant associations. We'll have to level the surface and after that, it will need to be painted.
  • Consider why, even after staining with odorless paint, is it necessary to thoroughly ventilate the room? Dyes give off many harmful volatile compounds.
  • If the surface is washable, it will not allow air to pass through, which means that it is no better than PVC film.

Drywall

Natural materials are used for manufacturing - water, gypsum and cardboard. This is good, but, during operation, gypsum dust may appear, as well as during the initial assembly of the structure. Waterproof types of sheets are impregnated with different compounds that will not be natural. Besides:

  • After assembly, the entire structure will be needed. The choice of paint will affect the environmental friendliness.
  • There are some disadvantages that are not directly related to harm to health - a decrease in the height of the room, and as a result - less comfort in the room, a large amount of garbage during assembly, and so on.

The quality of at least one third of finishing materials on the CIS market is questionable. Such finishes are hazardous by the emission of toxins. Only an ecological examination can reveal their harmfulness, which, of course, none of those who decided to save on the cost of materials will order. How much do these people assess the health of their families? And yet it would be wrong to blame them for their carelessness. Buyers in civilized countries must trust the certification, and be sure that all materials on the shelves of building markets are environmentally friendly. The problem lies elsewhere: our environmental requirements are 10-15 years behind European ones. In addition, there is a fairly extensive black and gray market, whose products do not undergo any certification at all.

In reality, "the rescue of drowning people is the work of the drowning people themselves." To protect yourself and your family from toxic emissions, you need to learn to understand modern materials. This is not an easy matter, but there is no other way out yet.

Everything European sooner or later turns out to be with us, and this vector is probably not going to change direction. But there is also a positive moment in this. Thus, the western fashion for energy saving and environmental cleanliness is gradually spreading to the east. True, it is more difficult for the domestic consumer: it is necessary to learn how to distinguish beautiful fakes from truly high-quality products.

How to choose environmentally friendly materials

The first thing that comes to mind when looking for safe materials is to look for something that is made from natural raw materials. Most ordinary people think so. But it is not the raw material that needs to be evaluated, but the final product. Indeed, in production, various substances can be used, which are far from always safe. For example, natural wood, after being treated with inexpensive types of fire-fighting and bio-protective agents, ceases to be so natural. And then there are stains, paints, varnishes and other finishing compounds that can turn safe wood into a toxic product. Natural wood serves as a raw material for wood-like materials such as fiberboard, chipboard. But their binder is by no means natural, and moreover, in products with an emission index of harmful substances below E1, even toxic.

At the same time, not all synthetic materials are dangerous. The ubiquitous PVC (polyvinyl chloride), which is now and then accused of causing damage to the environment, turned out to be harmless. PVC panels as well as window profiles, cable ducts, floor coverings, etc. contrary to all the talk, they are allowed for use even in children's and medical institutions. But when PVC is really dangerous, it is during combustion. But that's a different story. Summing up the chapter, the main criteria for the selection of finishing materials should be announced:

  • absence of poisonous secretions (carcinogens and toxic substances);
  • the minimum level of radioactivity;
  • modernized production with a low level of environmental pollution;
  • the possibility of recycling.

Are natural finishes expensive?

It is widely believed among ordinary people that harmless natural finishes are necessarily expensive. But in practice, this is not the case. Let us recall the “distant” Soviet times, when most of the materials were of natural origin, and synthetics were, for some reason, valued higher. But even today paper wallpaper are the cheapest, and at the same time the most harmless. Disadvantages limiting their popularity are high water absorption, low UV resistance and odor absorption ability. Nevertheless, for a nursery or bedroom, the paper version of the wallpaper is ideal, especially if you choose a two-layer version - duplex.

This is another traditional and inexpensive finishing material that is considered harmless. There are practically no drawbacks to ceramics.
Clay and mineral fillers are used as raw materials for the manufacture of ceramic tiles. Its decorative finish consists of a small amount of natural pigments and mineral glaze. However, it is important to use harmless adhesive mixtures for laying tiles.

Water-borne paints they are not expensive, but at the same time they are safe. Ceilings and walls can be painted with water dispersions. The surfaces painted with them will be protected from moisture, but at the same time remain vapor-permeable. For wall decoration, various plasters based on mineral, acrylic or silicone are also suitable. The last two species, despite their clearly chemical name, are environmentally friendly.

Wooden floor
is considered expensive today, but many types of alternative flooring are even more expensive. Pay attention to the price of the parquet board - it is comparable to laminate and imported linoleum, but at the same time it looks noble and offers absolute environmental friendliness. To preserve the ecological properties of parquet, it is important to use high-quality varnishes that do not contain toxins. This also applies to all other wood finishes and solid wood furniture. These varnishes are water-based. They are ideal for interior work.

Natural stone is one of the first building and finishing materials. Limestone, sandstone, shell rock and other common rocks are quite affordable and can compete with many artificial imitations. For interior decoration with natural stone, just as in the case of ceramic tiles, it is important to use high-quality adhesive mixtures that do not contain harmful substances. These include glue-cements, which include cement, quartz sand and a small amount of modifying additives.

New generation ecological finishes

Relatively recently, on the market of finishes appeared textile wallpaper... This material is not woven, but is made on a paper basis with a decorative layer of flax, hemp, silk or wool fibers glued to the paper. These wallpapers are good for dry living spaces, but are afraid of moisture. The modern synthetic analogue of such wallpaper is devoid of this drawback. Even after antistatic treatment, synthetic fabric wallpapers remain harmless. In their manufacture, only those types of polymers are used that do not react with oxygen, do not emit unbound polymers and remain stable throughout their service life. If such wallpapers have a European quality certificate, then they can be safely used even in a children's room.

Glass fiber, as their name implies, are made from the same components as mineral glass, i.e. sand, dolomite and lime. All these components are of natural origin, and in the form of a substance known as glass, they are also absolutely hygienic. Glass fiber does not rot, does not serve as a substrate for microorganisms and does not emit toxins.

Natural cork products
cannot be called a fundamentally new type of materials, but in our country they became available relatively recently. Cork is the bark of a cork oak tree native to the northwestern Mediterranean coast. There is no doubt about the environmental friendliness of this material. Moreover, the cork also has bactericidal properties. Even its agglomerate (crushed pressed mass) remains completely harmless, since the particles are naturally held together when heated. If the cork is used on the floor, open it with a protective compound. Modern cork coatings (most of which are produced by Portuguese and Spanish factories) are protected only by harmless substances (natural wax, water-soluble varnish, etc.). By the way, cork agglomerate is an excellent thermal insulation material. It is much more expensive than foam or mineral wool, but the cost of the total washed off will increase by a few percent. But, using cork insulation, you can preserve the environmental friendliness of a wooden building and even protect it from fire.

On the floor, cork also has a healing effect. It is believed that its elasticity is useful when walking, since it relieves the musculoskeletal system. Cork is also a hypoallergenic material. It is the best choice for decorating a children's room.

Drywall cannot be called the most modern material, since its history goes back several decades, but it fits all parameters of the new generation material. Drywall is an environmentally friendly cladding. It does not emit harmful substances, however, it is important to use it taking into account the humidity conditions of the room.
In ordinary drywall (non-moisture resistant), mold easily forms when moistened, and then this material becomes a breeding ground for harmful spores belonging to the group of carcinogens. Moisture-resistant drywall differs from the usual one in the content of fungicides - anti-mold preparations. Drywall is an example of an inexpensive and harmless material. In terms of environmental friendliness, it surpasses even plywood, not to mention OSB, where the formaldehyde content is off scale.

Harmful finishes

Obviously unsafe finishes include materials of both artificial and natural origin. Let's start with the latter. Particleboard with an emission class below is considered the most harmful E1, Fiberboard, cheap carpets, artificial linoleum, vinyl wallpaper, cheap plastic panels, Chinese-made laminate, oil and alkyd paints, solvent-borne varnishes, upholstery fabrics with a smell (contain aniline), leatherette, polystyrene foam (insulation and finishing panels).

In Russia, harmless materials are marked with the Ecomaterial symbol; in Europe - Der Blaue Engel, Grün Punkt. The emission class may also be indicated on the packaging of materials. For indoor use, it is not recommended to use products whose emission class of harmful substances is lower than E1(i.e. E2, E3, etc.).

There is no doubt that ecological repair should be the priority of every person. But more often we do not think twice about ourselves and about the environment around us. Those who decide to be innocent or frivolous in this matter, to the chagrin, will regret their indifference.

Environmental repair and its components

Environmentally friendly

I'll start with the question that worries me the most, because all the forests of the Moscow region are buried in construction waste. Why are there forests, when in Krasnogorsk, right next to the road, there are arbitrary dumps of household waste. Oddly enough, such spontaneous heaps of garbage, as in the photo above, can exist for months.

Do you like this view of your city? To me, of course, NO! Undoubtedly, the local Criminal Code will not allow to throw mountains of waste into a common container. And to order it for themselves personally, some religion does not allow. But do not be surprised at such consequences, entrusting garbage collection for three kopecks to the bombile on the Gazelle. And even more so, do not dare to show your dissatisfaction in local forums if you did so.

And I am definitely proud that they have never been likened to these pigs. In addition, I sincerely hope that none of my readers will treat nature so low and disrespectful.

Environmentally friendly materials

The second important component of the issue of environmental friendliness is the environmental repair itself. Although this is the first aspect of importance for the client's health. After all, all materials used in the work in one way or another affect any living organism. And more often negatively than vice versa. Your workers will be the first to take the hit from the use of hazardous materials if they are not wearing personal protective equipment. But after renovation, you have to live in an apartment without a gas mask? This means that biohazardous materials will destroy you for many years.

Particular attention should be paid to both plaster mixes and finishing materials. Especially on paints and wallpapers! Knauf products will save you the headache when purchasing rough materials. Their products are certified according to the strictest sanitary and hygienic standards. In terms of quality, if we are not a fake, questions never arose. But when choosing decorative materials, keep your ears open.

Proven and toxic

Interior lacquers

I will share an example of the use of safe and, conversely, highly toxic materials. At the beginning of the year, I was eager to make a compact folding table to my room. The project was a success, but due to my haste, I covered the table with an extremely horrible varnish. And even though the bank had the inscription "Home Series" - it was an extremely false statement.

Technologies of the last century, you cannot say otherwise.

After a month of eerie fumes, the table still continued to exude a pungent odor. I opened a wider window and continued to work behind it, creating articles for my site. But one day a terrible wind howled and I decided not to open the window. The cats were the first to run away from the room, then the wife left. And I went on and on and continued to type the text until the end of the day. In the evening I literally crawled out of the room with a terrible headache. I wrote it off to a sudden change in the weather, and the next day I again began to write articles in the ill-fated room. Unfortunately, this time I was mercilessly tormented by a migraine all night.

As expected, I checked and ruled out any matches. With another headache, of course. And I am ready to present you with an alternative to this torture device. Nice to work with and smelling like a baby's bottom French varnish from the same store. It can be applied in a ventilated area without using a respirator. Without a doubt, this is a material of the 21st century, created according to the most modern safety standards.

Tested repeatedly and literally a little more expensive than the previous one.

When choosing other paints and varnishes, be guided by the principle of choosing trusted companies. These include all brands of the Scandinavian countries, representatives of France and Switzerland. Between us, imported products are a cut higher in the production of ecological materials than Russian ones. Fortunately, there are also leading companies among domestic producers. Here you have to plunge into a scrupulous study of the materials market, if you do not want the choice to go sideways.

Room wallpaper

Yes, yes, we are talking about room wallpaper. It is to them that increased requirements are imposed if you are planning an ecological renovation. Passages and corridors are drafted, while in rooms sometimes you have to sleep with closed windows. Therefore, I will pay special attention to indoor wallpaper in this article.

We give preference to non-woven paper wallpaper or are looking for confirmation of environmental control on a roll. Manufacturers place special emphasis on the safety of their products so that everyone can see it. And do not be surprised by the fact that, unlike paints, some St. Petersburg wallpapers are completely non-toxic.

Although vinyl, it is a very successful and non-toxic wallpaper.

But the expensive Spanish vinyl wallpaper, I was greatly disappointed. Heavy and embossed, reminiscent of Venetian plaster. However, it is so smelly that after seven years, the toxic odor is still present. Remember this texture and never buy this wallpaper, especially for a room. And it's finally time for me to change them to environmentally friendly paper wallpapers.

Undoubtedly beautiful, but very heavy in pasting and foul-smelling wallpaper.

So, with regard to wallpaper, we give preference to paper and light wallpaper for painting. We choose vinyl only in draft-blown and non-residential premises.

Carpet

With the safety of carpet for human health, the situation is similar to that of wallpaper. Natural material will not cause any problems, while carpets based on polyesters and polyamides are dangerous. And the danger is not in the direct harm of these synthetic materials. They are cheap to manufacture and sell. Accordingly, the same cheap and often dangerous glue is used in their manufacture. Moreover, as a bonus, you get an increased generation of static electricity.

My synthetic carpet in the hallway.

There is no doubt that a carpet made of natural pile is much more whimsical in its content, and wears out faster than a synthetic one. In the children's room, after the creativity of an active child, it will not be enough for a long time. And for allergy sufferers with asthmatics, it is not highly recommended at all. How then to be? There is definitely a compromise! If you want carpet as a floor covering, then let it be natural. But, in order to avoid allergic reactions, only with a short nap. It is much more convenient to vacuum it and carry out wet cleaning. It is clear that without fanaticism.

An example of natural carpet.

The downside of everything natural is only the price and the limited places of purchase. It seems to me that only people with true values can afford such things. After all, not everyone understands the importance of investing in carpet, commensurate with the price of a huge TV.

Ceiling coverings

Simply put, the most environmentally friendly ceilings are classic ceilings painted with water-based paint. And no other options can compete with them. This could end this article, but not everyone loves the classics. For fans of stretch ceilings, I have some tips. Firstly, economy is contraindicated here from the word at all. Environmental repairs and a Chinese stretch ceiling of dubious quality are incompatible things. Once you decide to save on the ceiling, then use the services of trusted firms. And limit yourself to PVC ceilings exclusively in the bathroom and toilet.

The possibility of using PVC ceilings of different colors in wet rooms is their main advantage.

Secondly, say goodbye to the myth about the sustainability of fabric stretch ceilings. Despite the word fabric in its name, it is woven from polyester yarns. The justification for the application of this ceiling can be the possibility of painting up to 6-7 times. Most likely, water-based paint will prevent toxic fumes from entering the room. But do not flatter yourself too much, but exclude the use of a stretch fabric ceiling in the sleeping areas of the apartment.

Environmental renovation is your only surefire renovation!

In conclusion, I would like to summarize all my thoughts on ecological renovation in general. Renew your home without impact on the environment. Do not aggravate the already not rosy environment with garbage on the streets of Krasnogorsk and its suburbs. Most likely, the situation across the country is about the same, because people are the same by nature. But not according to their culture and it pleases. Let caring for the planet come into fashion. And everyone will start, of course, from their own yard.

Moreover, do not directly harm yourself and your household. Be aware of the choice of material for apartment renovation. For a long time, I naively believed that the regulatory authorities did it for me. And they will never allow the appearance of environmentally hazardous products on the shelves of hardware stores. However, the realities of life are completely different and we ourselves must be vigilant and selective in our choice. Our life directly depends on this, no jokes.

Environmentally friendly materials for the renovation and decoration of the apartment.

The dream of a stylish interior makes each of us equip apartments and houses so that they are pleasing to the eye and correspond to the current idea of fashionable and beautiful design. Most often, when renovating residential premises, the use of various building and finishing materials is practiced, with the help of which the aesthetic component of rooms can be improved. Most homeowners strive to make something extraordinary out of an ordinary apartment, but at the same time they do not care about maintaining environmental safety in the room. But ecology is a rather urgent issue, since in the manufacture of many modern building materials, complex chemical compounds are used, which contain a sufficient amount of toxic substances. Toxins are gradually poisoning the indoor climate, and they also cause severe harm to the health of residents. It is for this reason that the correct choice of environmentally friendly building materials for the renovation of apartments and houses is so necessary.

Environmentally friendly building materials.

Usually, the safety of using a building material is influenced not only by its composition and the material that formed the basis for their manufacture, but also by the wrong conditions under which this material is used.

Of course, there are building materials that are dangerous in themselves, since they contain toxic substances in their composition in large quantities (impurities of heavy metals, for example), and there are materials that are harmful when in contact with the environment.

For example, the use of natural wood in conditions where it is in contact with moisture for a long time becomes an excellent environment for the appearance and development of fungi and mold. In addition, natural wood saturated with moisture begins to smell unpleasant and becomes a breeding ground for various types of bacteria.

Applications and use of ecological finishing and building materials.

Therefore, in order for living in a house not to be dangerous to health, and even to the life of his household, you need to correctly approach the choice of building materials - they must be environmentally friendly, and their use should be in conditions that will not allow them to collapse and emit substances harmful to health.

Before each construction of a house or renovation of a house, it is necessary to familiarize yourself with detailed information about building materials that can improve the interior and positively influence the microclimate of the house.

What materials for finishing ceilings are considered safe.

With the help of a stretch ceiling, you can perfectly realize the most daring and sometimes even incredible design ideas. Since the materials used for arranging the stretch ceiling are made on the basis of polyvinyl chloride, they have a fairly high level of toxicity.

It is for this reason that it is not recommended to use it to decorate some living quarters - this applies to the bedroom, living room, children's room. The use of finishing plastic is more acceptable for bathrooms and other areas where people are the least of the time.

In the bedroom and children's room, living room and kitchen, it is best to simply paint the ceilings. Water-based paint of any suitable color is ideal for this. These paints have characteristics that make them the most environmentally friendly for living spaces.

The use of environmentally friendly wall decoration indoors.

The most popular material that is most often used for wall decoration is wallpaper. If you want to make your home environmentally friendly for adults and children to live in it, it is preferable to use paper wallpaper for pasting the walls.

They belong to the real environmentally friendly finishing materials. Besides, there are other positive aspects to wallpaper.

Affordable cost.

The ability to fit in almost any room in the house. An exception is the kitchen and bathroom due to high humidity and frequent temperature changes.

Other types of wallpaper, for example, textile and vegetable, are also distinguished by a high level of environmental safety, for the manufacture of which vegetable natural materials are used that are not treated with chemicals before or after use.

Use of environmentally friendly finishing materials.

Textile and vegetable wallpapers have many advantages over other types of similar finishing materials, including.

Good wear resistance.

The ability not to fade when exposed to direct sunlight.

The absence of harmful and toxic substances in their composition.

It is very important to choose the right wallpaper glue. When choosing this material, it is recommended to purchase an adhesive composition based on starch and other natural additives.

It is not advisable to paint walls using oil-based paints for this, since they contain lead and other heavy metals, which are very dangerous to human health and life. But this is not one drawback of such paints, because, when heated, oil paints spoil the air for a long time with an extremely unpleasant odor.

Features of modern flooring materials.

The best floor coverings include.

Parquet board and regular planed edged board. These finishing materials are completely natural and have a high level of environmental safety. This allows you to use materials for installing floors in children's rooms, bedrooms and other areas in your home where you spend a long time.

However, if you prefer a similar floor covering, try to be very careful in choosing varnishes or paints with which this covering will be treated. It is recommended to stop your choice on an expensive, high-quality and the safest varnish. Before making a purchase, you need to carefully study all the information that is indicated on the label.

Ceramic tiles, which also belong to environmentally friendly building materials, since they are manufactured using a technology that does not provide for the use of harmful chemicals. If you want to renovate your apartment that would be environmentally friendly, ceramic tiles are perfect for decorating the kitchen, bathroom and hallway. Distinctive advantages of the material are enviable durability and practicality.

Laminate. the ecological characteristics of which are influenced by the level of its quality. Existing expensive modern varieties of laminate are manufactured in accordance with safety norms and standards, so they can be used in any room.

Linoleum is considered one of the most unsafe materials, since petroleum products are used for its manufacture. This finishing flooring material contains a large amount of chemical additives. The most dangerous are the types of linoleum relin and linoleum, for the manufacture of which PVC compounds are used.

Carpet is not a flooring material with a high level of environmental hazard, but there are cases when it becomes a source of allergic reactions and people. Therefore, if you want to lay a carpet that has natural pile, you must remember that it requires careful personal care, otherwise billions of microscopic mites will start in the carpet.

The right choice of environmentally friendly windows.

If you are thinking about how to change the window structures in your home, pay attention to the windows made of natural wood. They are distinguished by the following advantages.

Affordable price.

High level of environmental friendliness.

But if you want the windows in your rooms to have high thermal insulation and sound insulation, then it is preferable to use structures that are made on the basis of an aluminum profile. They have some pretty good merit.

Low cost.

Best durability.

Excellent practicality.

PVC profiles are completely artificial products, however, modern processing methods make it completely safe and suitable for use in all areas of the house.

Marking and designation on the labels of building materials.

Manufacturers of modern building and finishing materials are trying to ensure that their products are the most environmentally friendly. Therefore, each company that respects itself and takes care of its image, products are labeled.

The following labeling, which is used all over the world, speaks about the environmental friendliness of building materials.

E1 - building materials with absolute safety, which are used in nurseries and any other rooms.

E2 - used for bathrooms, kitchens and corridors.

If you choose building materials, taking into account this marking, you will do it correctly, and your premises will be environmentally friendly, the microclimate will not be destroyed in them. Never forget that the use of sustainable building materials in homes and apartments is not an ordinary tribute to fashion.

This is a guarantee of protecting your health and the health of your loved ones from the serious consequences that may arise from contact with hazardous chemicals.
