A shaft is made for bushings with a center 2 cm in diameter displaced by 2 mm and trunnions of 1.4 cm. Due to the center displacement, it will lower / rise during rotation. The placement of the shaft in the bushings should provide the clearance required to clamp / release the headstock.

Take 3 ... 4-cm pipe sections with a diameter of 2.1 ... 2.3 cm, weld them coaxially to the M12 bolts (to the heads). Tubes are welded together. The end of the shaft extending from the tube is provided with a handle.

Collect the tailstock. It is tightened with nuts, ensuring fixation on the support when the handle is turned on the shaft.

Make a quill, which should have a rotating center. Bearings are used - one thrust, three straight.

The quill is made from sections of a profile pipe with a cross section of 3x3 cm, reducing their edges to a size of 2.9x2.9. On the one hand, it is fastened with a rod of 1.2 centimeters in length, on the other, with an M12 nut. All straight bearings are pressed onto the rod.

A quill body is made using a pipe with a section of 2.9x2.9 cm. One end of it is closed with a metal plate, arranging a central hole in it; in the second, the slot is tripled and the nut with the wing is welded. Screwing the bolt into the last, fix the quill.

I use an M12 threaded stud at one end, M8 at the other. A flywheel is screwed onto the latter, fastened with an appropriate nut.

The body is supplied with two pieces of angle and attached to them to the tailstock. The latter is adjusted so that it remains in line with the axis of the headstock.

A handcuff is made with an eccentric clamp. They use a stem from a shock absorber. They make two bushings of 2.6 cm diameter, arranging boots on them. Drill two holes with diameters of 1.4, 1.0 cm with axes offset from the center by 2 mm. Near the larger end, threaded holes are arranged through which the bushings are bolted to the axle.

A piece of pipe is prepared with an inner diameter slightly less than the diameter of the stem. A rod with an M12 thread cut at the end is welded to the latter.

The body is made with dimensions of 8x4 cm from a channel. Inside, they are equipped with two partitions with holes, into which short (1.9 cm) bushings with an inner diameter of 26.5 mm are welded.

The handcuff is fastened by welding it to a piece of pipe, which is cut and supplied at the ends with nuts and bushings. The clamping of the handcuff occurs when the bolt is screwed into the latter.

The motor is connected according to the scheme in which it acts as a starting device. Power is connected to the input of the switch, in one circuit of which there must be a stator. An anchor is connected to the middle outputs. The upper terminals are cross-connected to the input terminals.

The engine and the headstock are covered with a protective cover. A speed regulator is placed on it.
