    Fixation on the wall surface

    After the sink has been connected to the water supply, you can secure and fix the sink on the wall surface.

    The prepared device must be placed on the fixing studs mounted in the wall.

    Install plastic or rubber liners.

    Then install and tighten the fixing nuts.

    Note! If you are installing a sink that has supporting elements (for example, a pedestal or a bedside table), you need to take into account their height and only then carry out the procedure for fixing the sink.

    Installation and connection of the water supply system

    It is necessary to connect the cold and hot water pipes attached to the sink to the piping system. They should be fixed using a wrench. The degree of curl is medium.

    In order for the joint to have the greatest density, it is recommended to install an intermediate gasket between the materials. It is recommended to use a rubber product.

    After connecting the pipeline, it is necessary to check its reliability level. To do this, turn on the water and check whether water leakage occurs. If this occurs, it is necessary to tighten the nuts in the places where the pipeline is attached.

    Connecting to the sewer system

    To connect the sink to the sewer, you need to connect a siphon to it.

    Devices of various shapes can be used. Experts recommend using an S-shaped device on kitchen sinks. This type of siphon is the least susceptible to clogging.

    To install a bathroom sink, you can use a bottle-shaped device. The sink drain in this siphon is more susceptible to contamination, so it is only suitable for use in the bathroom. In the kitchen, this type of siphon will need to be cleaned weekly.

    Carrying out work on connecting the sewer system:

    1. Installing and securing the siphon on the sink sink.
    2. Connecting the pipe to the device. It is recommended to use corrugated pipes in kitchen areas, and pipes made of hard materials in bathrooms.
    3. Connecting the installed pipe to the sewerage system. If there is a difference in the diameter of the pipes, it is recommended to use an adapter - a cuff. It is made of rubber and allows for good sealing of the joints.
    4. Connecting the system and checking it for leaks.

    Identifying errors in operation

    If mistakes were made when connecting the sink, they may be indicated by the following:

    • the appearance of an unpleasant odor;
    • humidification of the siphon during operation of the sink;
    • the appearance of leaks and puddles under the sink;
    • difficulties arise and speed slows down when draining water.
