Freelance exchanges for beginners are a great way to make your first money remotely. We tell you about the best sites for making money.

The ideal freelancing process looks like this: choose an exchange, apply for several interesting projects, complete the task and get money. In fact, everything is much more complicated, because you still need to find a good order, and then make sure that the client chooses yours from dozens of applications. But first, you need to find that freelance exchange for beginners where you can get a well-paid and exciting job. We talk about the best sites, how to make money on freelancing, common mistakes and give tips to help you get your first orders.

The best freelance exchanges for beginners

Freelance exchanges are not considered the main source of income for trained specialists, but large platforms are an excellent option for beginners who still need to figure out how the market works, how to communicate with customers and what kind of work they can find in different areas.

Weblancer

An excellent Russian-language freelance exchange for beginners and experienced professionals, where you can find work in various fields: web design, photo processing, printing, website promotion, and so on. To start working on the Weblancer exchange, you will need to register, after which you will be credited with 30 universal orders; if you need more, you will have to pay for the tariff plan. Moreover, the more specializations you choose, the more you will have to pay for using the exchange.

Conclusion

General knowledge about the work of freelance exchanges will be enough to get comfortable in a new field, but in order to get big profits, you will have to create a selling portfolio, learn a lot about finding and attracting clients, engage in a commercial offer and develop a personal brand. You can learn about all the features of freelancing and how to make a lot of money on the course.

entrance

First, you need to let know in as many ways as possible that you are looking for orders: talk to friends, relatives, former colleagues, customers of former colleagues, publish on social networks, specialized websites. I submitted more than twenty applications on these sites before even one worked. It will take you a couple of weeks.

Difficulties

Brute force

One of the gags, oddly enough, is the excessive number of orders taken. At the beginning, there won't be such a problem, but then it is quite possible. For me, 4 orders that I am working on in parallel is the limit. Even so, I try, for example, to deal with two orders on one day, and two more on the other.

The difficulty here is that if you work on one order for less than two hours in a row, time is wasted inefficiently. Until you enter the task and achieve a good pace, it will take half an hour. Hence the number of 4 orders, cyborgs can take more. :)

Grade

Get ready for the fact that at first you will incorrectly estimate the amount of time, and therefore the money, required to complete the order. For a more accurate assessment, it is useful to divide the task into subtasks, each of which will take no more than a day to complete. And even in this case, it is worth multiplying the resulting number by X, unaccounted features will most likely surface, you will have to spend additional time on debugging and fixing bugs, etc. The very communication with the customer takes time.

Action

Unlike a regular job, where you are paid a fixed salary, where you can slowly swing in the morning, read LiveJournal, drink coffee, start work, a freelancer will receive only for a real result. A great time for me - five hours out of eight spent only to fulfill orders (minus snacks, communication, reading mail, ICQ, Skype, etc.).

If some kind of sausage begins, mental throwing - all this must be postponed for the evening, when with a pure heart you can shake off to your heart's content. :)

Yes, you also need to rest, just do not lie to yourself that I will read the news a little more and then work, there is still a carriage time. Tell me I'm resting and rest. :)

If you work hard on weekdays, you should not work on weekends either, it is better to spend this time actively - to go rollerblading there, and other skates ...

It can be difficult to quickly switch between projects; it happens that you delay the start of work on a somehow unpleasant task. Everyone decides this in their own way, a great incentive is the need to regularly receive money. When there is no money, it helps a lot to work, unless a really cool sausage begins. But then see above.

It is also dangerous to be lazy. It is better to spend time, to do everything conscientiously, not to leave a single crooked piece that can be done in a reasonable time. Otherwise, it will work only for the sake of money. :)))

Money

I work only with foreign freelance sites (does not mean that I call for this), from the possibilities of transferring money to myself, I found two options - MoneyBookers (European analogue of PayPal), from where money is withdrawn to a bank card or account, and SWIFT-transfer to a bank check. In the end, it all comes down to the transfer, since MoneyBookers has too small a quarterly limit on the amount of money withdrawn to the card. Accordingly, you need an account in dollars or euros - in the currency that is used to withdraw money.

It is also very important to determine how much you want to earn per day, taking into account average market prices and your qualifications. And feel free to name the desired figure when evaluating the order. In the beginning, this part caused the greatest awkwardness, they say, I do such simple things, it is somehow embarrassing to take money for it ... The dwindling income convinced me of the opposite, especially since for other people our craft looks completely different.
