About RSU named after. A.N. Kosygina in Novosibirsk

Novosibirsk Technological Institute (NTI (branch) of A. N. Kosygin RSU) is the region’s leading university for training specialists for the light industry and fashion industry.

Founded in 1963 as a branch of the Moscow Technological Institute of Light Industry. In the region it is better known as the Institute of Light Industry. Until November 2016, it was called NTI (branch) of MGUDT.

Currently there are about 1000 students studying at the institute. The number of teaching staff of the institute is more than 80 people, of which 13 doctors and 35 candidates of science, 8 members of the Union of Designers of Russia, 2 members of the Russian Union of Artists, 1 member of the International Union of Artists, 2 members International Association artists of Russia.

More than half a century of experience of the institute, the introduction of modern educational technologies, conducting production practices at leading enterprises in Russia and abroad, they provide high-quality training for specialists in demand by employers.

The departments of the institute actively conduct student research work, and the training of graduate students and doctoral students is carried out on the basis of the head university.

An important aspect of the institute’s work is cooperation with key enterprises in the fashion industry of the Siberian region for the design and implementation of new developments at industry enterprises.

01/14/17 at the Russian State University named after A.N. Kosygina (Technology. Design. Art) Open Day took place.
On this day the university was presented full list implemented educational programs of higher education - bachelor's, specialist and master's programs, as well as educational programs of secondary general and secondary vocational education.
Interested parties were able to visit the stands of the Institutes, take part in master classes, get acquainted with modern types sewing and sewing-embroidery equipment.
The most popular among schoolchildren and graduates of technical schools and colleges were the areas of training with a creative orientation, admission to which is carried out not only in general education disciplines, but also based on the results of entrance tests of a creative and professional orientation, requiring a certain level of preparation from the applicant:

After registration, receiving booklets and initial consultation, guests went to the Assembly Hall, which welcomed future applicants and their parents in an updated form. The official part of the event began with the performance modern dance students of the choreographic department of the Institute of Slavic Culture, who created a positive mood for those present.
In front of the guests with general information about the university, about educational activities, the acting rector of the Russian State University named after. A.N. Kosygina Prof. S.G. Dembitsky. Executive Secretary admissions committee Assoc. I.V. Lyukshinova explained to those present the conditions for admission to educational programs of secondary general, secondary vocational and higher education in 2017, and answered questions of interest. On this day you could sign up for preparatory courses and show your creative works. Next, the event participants were invited to separate audiences for more detailed conversations with the administration of the College of the Russian State University named after A.N. Kosygin, Gymnasium of the Russian State University named after. A.N. Kosygin (profile classes), as well as Directors of institutes about the implemented educational programs, conditions of study and admission in 2017, after which they were able to continue participating in master classes and attend excursions to graduating departments.
