Bugs 100% completion of GTA Vice City Stories

The first bug and error is that, roughly speaking, you don’t need to complete the game 100%, you just need to score 99.6% and all achievements (ammo and TV) will open.

Back in the year 2004, I asked myself the question: “How to complete a mission in GTA Vice City with a helicopter?” Then all my friends who had a computer that could run GTA Vice City set out to blow up that damned construction site, but in vain. Our fingers lacked speed, and the controls, which required two hands at the same time, were confusing.

The goal of the mission was to destroy a competitor's construction site using a radio-controlled helicopter. We had at our disposal 4 dynamite bundles with a timer and a time limit of 6 minutes. Time is not the only enemy; there are also site guards and construction workers. The guards are equipped with a pistol, which comes into use very well at the sight of a toy helicopter, and the builders, with their hammers, strive to crush the shiny body of Tommy's new toy. Naturally, this task will be a real pain for an inexperienced player, but if you play around with the controls, the helicopter will obey you like a faithful little dog. So we would have given up conquering the City of Vice if one of us had not come up with a workaround:

  • 1. While playing, we noticed that the timer will not start counting down if you do not take dynamite. You should definitely take advantage of this. We forget about the explosions for now and head to the construction site.
  • 2. As soon as we arrive at the construction site, we begin to kill opponents one by one with helicopter blades. The builders themselves will jump onto the deadly propeller (you just need to guess the height), but they will have to “dance” with the armed guards.
  • 3.If there is no one alive in an unfinished building, you can start a terrorist attack. We return to the truck where the bombs are, take one and carry it to the nearest barrel of fuel. We perform this operation 4 times.
  • Another little tip: Reassign controls. In place of the aircraft control layout of the form: “WASD + NumPad” put: “WASD + Arrows”. This will allow you to quickly learn how to operate a helicopter in the air.
