How to make your own gas stove. Do-it-yourself smokehouse from the oven - detailed instructions. Stove grill

What to make from an old washing machine and gas stove

Gas stove

It made a practical outdoor stove! Removed everything unnecessary. I cut out two holes with a grinder: one for a saucepan (frying pan), the second for a pipe for draft (photo 2). Firewood is burned on a grate inside the housing. The traction is great! The soup cooks for 20-25 minutes. If necessary, the stove can easily be turned into a barbecue by placing a metal box on top for burning wood.

DIY miracle forks

I offer a tool that I made about 20 years ago and called it “combined forks.”

With the advent of such forks (see photo), neither a shovel nor an ordinary fork will be needed. They are easy to work with both on dry and damp soil. The earth does not stick to them, the roots in the ground are cut freely, which cannot be done with a pitchfork, and it is difficult to work with a shovel, especially for older people.

Do-it-yourself homemade mole repeller

To fight moles, I took a metal tube with a diameter of 20 mm (can be from a ski pole or a piece of reinforcement 70-100 cm long), two metal beer cans and 20-25 cm wire. I make a hole in the bottom of the can so that when it rains Water did not accumulate in them, the jars were lighter.

I thread the ends of the wire into the top of the cans and secure them (like a hook), and insert the middle of the wire into the hole of a metal tube (or you can wrap it over the fittings). In any wind, the cans hit the metal tube (fittings) and make a ringing noise. There is a “bell ringing” in the area that scares away moles. I have a plot of 6 acres. I arrange these structures in groups of 3-4 pieces. along the perimeter of the site. There have been no traces of moles for two years now.

DIY tourist gas stove in 10 steps

I am an avid hiker and know from experience that sometimes when camping you need a small gas stove. And now I’ll tell you how I make tiles using improvised materials.

Step 1: Tools and Materials

I will need:

  • a can of soda or beer;
  • stationery knife or razor;
  • scissors;
  • scotch;
  • a bottle opener that can be used to cut off the lid of a jar;
  • ruler;
  • thick book;
  • a flat screwdriver or file (the can will have to be bent);
  • something with which you will pierce the jar from the inside (a nail will do);
  • permanent marker;
  • sandpaper;
  • drawing pin.

Step 2: Marking the Top

Using a book, I secure the blade at any height.

  1. Carefully place the razor or knife blade into the book (5 cm from the bottom edge of the book).
  2. I fix the blade: I press on it in the direction of the spine.
  3. I hold the can and turn it so that a deep scratch remains (but do not cut all the way through).
  4. I press down on the blade and cut the can into two parts.

Step 3: Trim the Top of the Can

I've finished working on the bottom of the jar and can start working on the top (it will be on the inside).

  1. I cut off the lid using a bottle opener. I also grab the walls of the jar up to 3 cm.

Attention! I don’t throw away the lid, it will come in handy!

  1. Using a marker, I draw 16 lines or dots on the top of the jar, equidistant from each other, from edge to edge.
  2. I take a screwdriver or similar tool and bend the can along the lines so that the folds look like in the photo.
  3. Then I make cuts along the folds (1 cm deep)

Step 4: creating a ring

After that, I take the lid and remove the burrs with sandpaper. I measure 3-5 millimeters from the outer edge and cut off the insides to make a ring.

Step 5: Assembling the tiles

I insert the ring into the bottom of the jar as shown in the photo. I insert the top part inside. I press on the ring from the sides so that there are no gaps. There remains a protrusion on top, about 2 mm - I’m not doing anything with it yet.

Step 6: Forming the Overhang

In the previous step I left a 2mm overhang. Now I bend it inward. First with my hands, then I iron everything with a marker.

Step 7: Punching a Hole

Now I take a nail and punch holes in the jar near the very top but below the ring. I punch 24 holes in total.

To do them at the same distance, I use the following technique

  • I wrap the jar with a strip of paper and cut the paper so that the edges of the strip barely meet;
  • I remove the strip, take a ruler and mark points on the strip at equal distances from each other (first I divide in half, then in half again, and so on until I get 12-24 points);
  • I put it on the jar and mark it. I punch the holes and move on to the next step.

Important! To make neat holes after the nail, without punching the jar all the way, I use a push pin.

Step 8: Shaping the Appearance

I get rid of the paint using 400 sandpaper. I make several V-shaped cuts on top for air. Otherwise, when dishes are placed on the oven, they may block the air flow.

Step 9: Launch

Role-playing game is the main type of play for a preschool child.
The main source that feeds a child’s role-playing game is the world around him, the life and activities of adults.
The main feature of a role-playing game is the presence of an imaginary situation in it, which consists of a plot and roles.
In games, children try on different social roles, form a scale of values for themselves, and learn to build relationships with others.
In order to enrich the subject-development environment in the group and on the kindergarten site, a stove was made. It is convenient because it can be carried, i.e. the stove is mobile. It is compact and does not take up much space. For its manufacture, improvised materials were required. The manufacturing process is not complicated. The plate can be made according to your design project.

To work you need:
Scissors
A simple pencil or pen, ruler
Stationery knife
Colored self-adhesive paper
Large shoe box
Mayonnaise lids (4 pieces)
Gouache jars (4 pieces)
Glue moment
Glue gun

Step-by-step process for completing the work:

1. To work, we will need circle templates of different sizes.

2. Take the 4th mayonnaise lids.

3. Using template No. 1, cut out 4 circles from red self-adhesive paper.

4. Glue them onto mayonnaise lids.

5. Take a shoebox and place it on the back edge so that the front surface is in front of us. We take a gouache jar, place it at a distance of about 7 cm from the edge and trace the bottom. The lower part of the jar is smaller in diameter than the upper part, and the shape is circle.

Circle the bottom of the jar 4 times. We get 4 circles, they are at an equal distance from each other. The distance can be adjusted according to your wishes. On the right, the distance was also maintained, according to symmetry, 7 cm.

6. We took a utility knife and cut out the first hole on the left. You need to cut it carefully, adhering to the inner rim of the circle.

We cut out the remaining holes. There were 4 of them.

7. We took 4 gouache jars, washed them and dried them.

8. Close the jars with lids. Using template No. 2, 4 circles were cut out of self-adhesive paper. One circle turned out to be red, and the other 3 circles were brown.

9. Glued the circles to the top surfaces of the lids.

10. Turn the box upside down. There are inscriptions on it, we will hide them using self-adhesive film.

I chose gray self-adhesive paper.
We took self-adhesive paper and drew a rectangle with sides 23x34 cm on the reverse side. We will need 2 of these rectangles.

11. Glued one of the rectangles to the bottom edge, hiding all the letters and drawings.

Thus, the top edge was also decorated.

12. It’s time to decorate and hide the shortcomings of the side surfaces of the box. To do this, cut out 2 rectangles with sides 3x22 cm from gray self-adhesive paper.

13. Glued one of the rectangles to the rim of the lid on one side to hide the letters. You could leave it and not stick anything else on this side.

We glued the second rectangle to the opposite side of the box and also to the rim of the lid. It turned out that this side is not as good as the first side face. Therefore, it is necessary to cover it with self-adhesive paper to hide all the errors.

14. For symmetry, prepare 2 rectangles of gray self-adhesive paper with sides 8.5x23.5 cm on both side faces.

15. Decorate the problem area on one side.

And glue the second rectangle on the other side.

16. Open the lid, take the glue moment. We need to glue the lid to the base of the box so that the top surface does not open.

Apply glue to the rims of the lid.

17. Close the lid and press the rims to the base of the box so that they stick.

18. Insert the jar with the red lid into the left hole. We specially cut holes along the inner rim of the circles so that the jars - the handles of the stove - were attached more firmly, and not loosely and did not turn.

Insert the remaining 3 jars.

19. My jars are firmly attached. But to be sure that the children would not pull them out during the game, I decided to glue the jars. I pulled out the jars, turned each one over and coated the protruding part (the rim of the lid) with glue.

I inserted each jar back into the holes and pressed it down. The rim of the lid of each jar came into contact with the cardboard base and stuck.
The handles on the stove are ready.

The company icon remains on this face at the bottom right. I decided not to remove it. Our toy stove will also have a brand name.

20. Place burners - mayonnaise lids - on the top surface and see what the hob will look like. Now you can glue them one by one.

I tried to glue it with instant glue, but the adhesion was weak.
21. We took a glue gun.

22. Apply hot glue to the back of the mayonnaise lid.

23. We glued it to the hob surface of the stove, placing it at the top left, retreating from the edge about 6 cm.

Thus, we glued the second cover, placing it symmetrically (relative to the right edge) at the top right.

We glued the remaining covers at the bottom, trying to place them symmetrically under the top covers at an equal distance from them.

24. The plate for the game is ready.

Summer time is coming, children will spend a lot of time outdoors. We will use the slab as a portable material when organizing role-playing games. The game will require another wash. They also made it on their own. For this we took a table. They placed him on the veranda close to the wall. We cut out a hole for the pelvis. The mixer was installed. One of the parents helped carry out this type of work.

An oven made from an old gas or electric stove, sent by the owners to live out its life in the garage or country house, can serve as an excellent source material for making a smoking chamber. Many elements of its design are ready-made solutions that you don’t have to do yourself:

  • Grooves on the inner side surfaces or telescopic guides;
  • Wire racks and baking trays that can be used to store and collect fat;
  • Thermal insulation elements that maintain the temperature inside the cabinet;
  • Seals providing the necessary tightness.
  • In addition, the body elements and their coating are designed to withstand significant temperatures, so if the processing regime is followed and the correct approach to supplying smoke, such a smokehouse will not be deformed. Their surfaces are relatively easy to wash, so you can put food of any origin in it: fish, game, meat and even vegetables.

Smokehouse with fuel poured into the chamber

There are two fundamentally different designs, differing in the principle of laying wood chips or another source of smoke. The simplest is considered to be a smokehouse with filling at the bottom of the cabinet, since it requires performing a minimum number of operations with your own hands.

Work order:

  1. Remove the drying cabinet door and its back wall;
  2. Remove the gas burner from the oven;
  3. Install an electric stove (1.5-2 kW) or build a fire pit under the bottom of the oven or inside the drying chamber;
  4. Drill two to four holes with a diameter of 10-20 mm in the lower part of the side walls for air flow and one to two in the upper part to remove exhaust smoke. To do this, you will have to use a drill with a regular cylindrical or step metal drill.

This camera has a number of significant disadvantages that limit its use:

  • Impossibility of cold smoking;
  • Difficulty in adjusting smoke distribution: the number and diameter of holes will have to be selected by trial and error;
  • High heating inertia (impossibility of quickly reducing temperature) can cause too intense smoldering of wood chips or ignition of fat, which will lead to food spoilage;

Design with smoke generator

A smokehouse with a smoke generator has a more complex structure. In addition, not all stages of its manufacture can be completed with your own hands. Some parts will have to be purchased or ordered to be manufactured.

The work is performed in the following order:

  1. First you need to drill a hole with a diameter of 27-28 mm in the lower part of one of the side surfaces of the gas stove. It will be used to supply smoke.
  2. Then a standard ¾” water pipe is inserted into it with a section with a longer thread length and secured with two low nuts. Even with the large thickness of the double side partition, this should be enough for reliable fixation.
  3. The same operations are carried out on the opposite side, only this time the hole should be located on its upper part. This unit will perform the functions of removing excess smoke and relieving excess pressure in the chamber. A ball or plug valve is screwed onto the second end of the outlet pipe, which will perform adjustment functions.
  4. To control the temperature, a thermometer calibrated to 170-200 °C is mounted in the oven.

Now the smokehouse is ready and you can start making a smoke generator. The ejector-type device combines high efficiency and ease of manufacture. To make such a generator with your own hands, you will need the following materials:

  • Pipe ¾";
  • Tube with an internal diameter of 6-7 mm;
  • Pipe with a diameter of 90-130 mm and a length of 50-70 cm;
  • Neck with ¾" union nut;
  • Union;
  • M6-M10 screw with wing nut;
  • Metal sheet 3-5 mm thick.
  • Air compressor;
  • Connecting hose.

Most of these materials can be easily found in any garage or shed of a private home. An aquarium aerator with a capacity of up to 60 l/hour is quite suitable as a compressor.

First, you need to cut a circle from a sheet along the inner diameter of the larger pipe, drill 20-25 small holes in it and weld it inside at a distance of 2-3 cm from the edge. This kind of sieve will serve as a fire pit. Then a screw is welded to the inner wall of the pipe and a round lid is put on it, which will serve as an ash pan. A hole (10-12 mm) is drilled a little above the fire pit for igniting wood chips.

Next, you need to make two holes at a distance of 4-5 cm from the top edge of the smoke generator opposite each other. An outlet pipe (3/4″) is welded to one of them, and a thin tube with a fitting is welded to the other so that the first is inside the structure and extends into the second to a depth of 1-2 cm. The compressor is connected to the fitting using a hose. A neck is welded to the outlet pipe and the entire structure is connected with a union nut.

The video describes in detail the design of the smoke generator:

After igniting the fuel and turning on the compressor, a stream of air captures the smoke and directs the flow into the smoking chamber of the gas stove.

This homemade smokehouse allows you to carry out both hot and cold processing of products, thereby increasing their shelf life to several months. The mixture of smoke and air guarantees a minimum content of carbon monoxide and carcinogens.

You can make an effective mini-stove for camping conditions from an ordinary thermos. To make the flame flare up more efficiently and the contents to smolder much better, you should pair a homemade fan with the burner design itself.

Materials

To make a mini burner you will need:

  • thermos;
  • drill;
  • drill;
  • aluminum plates;
  • aluminium case;
  • thermoelectric cooler;
  • small fan;
  • Schottky diode;
  • nipple.

Step 1. To make a mini-burner, you will need to slightly modify the thermos itself. Holes should be drilled in the lower part from the outside. A similar operation must be repeated at the top of the thermos. The holes should not come out from the outer walls.

The operating principle of the burner is simple. Air will enter the container through the lower holes, fanning the fire, and flames and heat will come out through the upper ones.

To drill the lower holes, you need to step back ¾ from the bottom and take a 9 mm drill bit. The size of the latter will depend on the dimensions of your thermos. Please note that all holes must be located at the same distance from each other. To do this, you can drill one hole and mark the rest using a marker and measuring tape.

In the upper part of the thermos, the holes should be made half as large. In this case, a 4.5 mm drill was suitable.

Step 2. Test your mini tile. If everything is in order and when burning papers, wood and other things, heat and flame are released as needed, you can continue working.

Step 3. Now you need to make a stand for the containers for the tiles. To do this, take two aluminum plates. Cross them in a vertical position and use a marker to make marks for the slots with which they will be connected to each other and installed on the thermos itself.

Step 4. To make the mini-stove more efficient, you need to attach a small fan to it, which will blow air into the lower part, thereby maintaining the fire. To do this, drill two holes in the aluminum box to bring out the fan wiring. You will need one more hole to install the copper nipple, which will be used to insert the entire device into the mini-tile. Don't forget to connect the cooling module to the fan. Fix all parts inside the aluminum case with Surgu paste. For it to set properly, you need to wait a day.

After this, you can close the body of the aluminum container and insert it with the nipple into one of the holes on the outside of the can in the lower part. The product is ready!
